He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Earnie Craft; three sisters, Helen Hudson, Vela Hendrix, Bobbie Maddox; and one grandson, Shonn Walker. Survivors include his wife, Veda Sparks Craft of Cullman; two sons, James H. Beatrice ‘Ma Bea’ Bruce

She was born Jan. 1, 1925 in Hardin County, Tenn. to David and Lois Harmon Jones. Along with her late husband, she started Maywood Christian Camp in 1960. She was a member of the Verona Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elza Ray Bruce; a grandson, Mac Bruce; a brother, Virgil Jones, a sister, Dean Jones; and a daughter-in-law, Sandra Bruce. Survivors include a son, David Bruce of Tupelo, Miss.; a daughter, Fay (J.L.) Gillentine of Cullman; a sister, Betty (John) Collins of Tupelo, Miss.; two brothers, Louie (Sue) Jones of Savannah, Tenn. and Joe (Bonnie) Jones, both of South Fulton, Tenn.; five granddaughters, Tanya Bruce Cox, Gaye Orsborn Lamons, Leigh Ann Bruce, Cherry Orsborn, and Kandy Orsborn Hutchinson; five great-grandchildren; and three special friends, Pat Pounders, Mary Goff and Pam Elrod. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Agnes Markweritz Hendrix; and three brothers, Junior Hendrix, Jack Hendrix and Jerry Hendrix.
