Survivors include his wife, Sadie Lou Walters, of Linden; daughter, Betty Walters Cross (Kenneth), of Linden; sons, James Lorimer Walters Jr. (Linda), of Linden, Michael Burton Walters, of Old Springhill and Stanley Hinson Walters, of Demopolis; brothers, Robert Owen Walters, of Alpharetta, Ga. and Dan A. Walters, of Lavonia, Ga.; granddaughters, Jamie Nell Webb, of Demopolis, Erin Hazel Walters, of Linden, Lane Elizabeth Walters, of Birmingham and Lori Katherine Walters, of Coatopa; grandsons, James Glennon Walters, Charles Uriah Walters and John Mitchell Walters, all of Linden, Michael Chase Walters, of Old Springhill and Clay Hinson Walters, of Coatopa. Mr. Walters was born on April 17, 1919 in Hart County, Ga. He was the owner of Larry Walter's Furniture Store and a member of the Linden United Methodist Church. He was a former Linden City Councilman, a former member of the Linden Chamber of Commerce, a former member of the Rotary Club, and the Demopolis Toastmaster's Club. He was active in Wildlife Conservation and Forestry. He was head of and co-founder of the Blackbelt Bird Field Trials and an avid bird hunter. Pallbearers will be Bill Blakeney, W.W. Dinning Jr., Chase Walters, Clay Walters, Jimmy Walters and Laurie Wilson. Honorary Pallbearers are Thomas Barnes, Tim McCorvey, Clifford Mitchell, Gordon Moore, R.P. Bridges, J.D. Flowers, R.T. Memory Chapel Funeral Home is directing. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ellacile Wheat. Survivors include sons, David Melton Wheat, of Holt, Fla. And Howard Gary Wheat, of Columbus, Ohio; Kelley and Jake Wheat, of Holt, Fla. and Sasha and Jake Wheat of Columbus, Ohio. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, and he retired from Reichhold Chemicals. He was also a member of Alberta Baptist Church.

Sunset Funeral Home is directing. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and several other great-nieces and great nephews. Pallbearers will be T.J. Smelley, Doug Pugh, Eugene Plowman, Larry Wilburn and Bobby Poe. Honorary pallbearers are Hospice of West Alabama, Home Health Care, Seton Home Health Care, her community churches and a host of friends and neighbors who loved her for years. GORDO - Eunice Junkin Bobo, 78, of 463 Clear Creek Road, died Sept. 19, 2000, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eugene Junkin and the Rev. Ralph Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation is 6-8 tonight at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by a son, David Randall Bobo. Survivors include her husband, Marvin L. Bobo, Gordo; two sons, Gene Bobo and Lewis Bobo, both of Gordo; two sisters, Bernice Connell and Faye Connell, both of Gordo; one brother, Lee Junkin, Gordo; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bobo was born in Gordo to George and Giller Junkin. She was a homemaker and a well-known member of the Gordo and Fairview Communities. Honorary pallbearers are friends of Fairview Community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Compton and Effie McCracken, and her husband, Pugh Cannon. Survivors include brother, Walter McCracken and wife Flora, of Tuscaloosa; niece and nephews, Kenneth McCracken, of Meridian, Miss., Cindy Wagner, of Tuscaloosa, Karen Dawsey, of Ft. Walton, Fla., and Neal McCracken, of Montgomery; and great-nieces and nephews. Frances Cannon was a dedicated employee of Gulf States Paper Corporation. She retired in 1985 after 43 years of service. Pallbearers are Michael Wagner, Ken McCracken, Matt Wagner, Martin Wagner, Zack Dawsey, Compton McCracken, David Mote and Tommy Wagner. TUSCALOOSA - Services for Margaret Louise Beausang, 2823 3rd St., will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 11 a.m. at Holt United Methodist Church, 2 Bealle St., Holt, Ala. Officiating will be the Rev. Darrell Garrett pastor of the Holt United Methodist Church and the Rev. Kennard C. Smith, Director of the Wesley Foundation, The University of Alabama. Mrs. Beausang died Oct. 12, 3:35 p.m. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. A native of Jefferson County, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John T. Whestone and the widow of the late Charles Joseph Beausang. A graduate of Holt High School, she attended the University of Alabama where she was a member of Blackfriers. She was retired from the University having been employed there for 21 years. As active member of the Holt United Methodist Church, she taught a variety of Sunday School Classes, her most recent assignment being the Loyce Boteler Class. She was also a member of the Coterie Club and the Holt Study Club. She is survived by two sons, Fred W. Innes Jr. of Atlanta and Michael W. Innes of Huntsville; four stepchildren, Catherine Purpora, Elizabeth Simms, Richard Beausang and Thomas Beausang. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Josephine Whetstone; four granddaughters; seven stepchildren; two nephews; and one great-granddaughter. Pallbearers will be Johal Botler, Judge Steve Wilson, Gus Grosse, Charles Rushing, Larry Gray, Carl Wright, A.K. Calahan Jr. and John D. Shirley. Honorary pallbearers are Rosie B. Jones, Woody Clements, Jerry Belk, Jones Tubb, Dr. Thomas McDermott and members of Holt United Methodist Church.
