Eulene Hill Hutchins

Services for Eulene Hill Hutchins, 66, of Eva will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2002 at Peck Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Fred Nichols officiating, with burial in Eva Cemetery.

Peck Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hutchins died Thursday, March 21 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. She was born in Morgan County on July 15, 1935 to Gilbert William and Irene Alford Hill. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her father; husband, John Hutchins; brother, David Von Hill; and sister, Margie Hill Anderson.

Survivors include her mother of Eva; two sons, Terry Hutchins of Loganville, Ga., Richard Hutchins of Douglasville, Ga.; one daughter, Kathy Reinochl of Eva; three brothers, Carl Hill of Falkville, Paul Gene Hill, Joe Hill both of Eva; two sisters, Dean Hill Stevens of Snellville, Ga., Sandra Hill Roberts of Eva; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Chris Stevens, Tony Stevens, Scott Lanier, Josh Hill, Patrick Hill, David Patton.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today.

Henry Stephen Daniel
Services for Henry Stephen Daniel, 79, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2002 at Moss Service Chapel, Henry Hobson officiating, with burial in Holly Pond Cemetery.

Moss Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Daniel died Thursday, March 21 at his residence. He was born Jan. 28, 1923 to Stephen Presley and Ruth Malene O’Neal Daniel. He was a road construction superintendent.

He was preceded in death by his parent; sister, Orene Shaw, two brothers, Lester Daniel, James Daniel; and one niece, Ellen Faye Tucker.

Survivors include his wife, Imagene Taylor Daniel; a brother, Donald Daniel; a sister, Ethel Pierce; his mother-in-law, Sleena Taylor.; six nieces and eight nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of Cullman County.

Visitation was Saturday.

Rodney Clyde Huffstutler

Graveside services for Rodney Clyde Huffstutler, 56, of Palmyra, Va. will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2002 at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Moss Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Huffstutler died Thursday, March 21 in Virginia. He was born Nov. 18, 1945. H was a retired school teacher from the Birmingham School System and an active member of the Lions Club at Lake Monticello.

Survivors include his wife, Shelley Yerger Huffstutler; parents, Oscar and Elouise Huffstutler of Albertville; brother, Rickey Huffstutler of Phenix City; and father- and mother-in-law, Thomas and Jane Yerger of Birmingham.

Visitation will be at noon today.

Freddie Joe ‘Chico’ Martinez Jr.

Services for Freddie Joe “Chico” Martinez Jr., 52, of Tanner will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2002 at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. George Sawyer officiating, with burial in Burningtree Cemetery.

Roselawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Martinez died Saturday, March 23 at NHC Healthcare of Moulton. He was born in New Mexico on Sept. 24, 1949. He was employed by Monsanto for 17 years before working for Delphi for 18 years.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Martinez of Tanner; three daughters, Melia Mead of Memphis, Cassandra Ritterbush of Elkmont, Jade Martinez of Tanner; two sons, Jamie Martinez of Cullman, Nicholas Hill of Decatur; mother, Nancy Mathis of Trinity; two sisters, Freda Borowicz, Belinda Appleton both of Trinity; and grandfather, Alvin Gertis Williams of Cullman.

Pallbearers will be Paul McCrary, Thomas Britnell, Danny McCaig, Stanley Coan, Bill Welch, Don Putty.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today.

Jerry Wayne Riddle

Services for Jerry Wayne Riddle, 58, of Arab will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2002 at Gober Funeral Chapel, James O. Wallace officiating, with burial in New Friendship Cemetery.

Gober Funeral Home Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Riddled died Friday, March 22. He was born May 19, 1943. He was a truck driver and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Riddle of Arab; daughter, Mellisa Barnett of Decatur; two step-sons, Scott and David Kellar of Arab; half brother, Larry Riddle of Morgan City; half sister, Carolyn Riddle of Morgan City; and five grandchildren.

Visitation was Saturday.

Dr. Dwight C. Fuller II
Services for Dr. Dwight C. Fuller, 83, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2002 at Moss Service Funeral Chapel, Dr. Elmer Neilson officiating, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery.

Moss Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Dr. Fuller died Sunday, March 24 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Feb. 2, 1919 to Harry L. and Claud Allred Fuller. He was an optometrist for about 50 years and a member of First Baptist Church in Cullman, life member of Kiwanis with approximately 50 years perfect attendance, past president of Kiwanis, Legion of Honor member, and received the Heritage of Honor 2001. He was also on the Cullman planning board and was a member of the Chamber of Commerce.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include four sons, Neal (Patricia) Fuller, Steve (Diann) Fuller, Jon Fuller, Tim (Lisa) Fuller, all of Cullman; seven grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flower, the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church of Cullman or Hospice of Cullman.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 9 p.m. today.

Donald Richard Quick

Services for Donald Richard Quick, 54, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2002 at Fairview West Baptist Church, the Revs. Marvin Bryan and W.W. Davis officiating, with burial in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Quick died Monday, March 25 at his residence. He was born Jan. 2, 1948 in Cullman County. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in Vietnam war and a foreman at Union Camp. He was a member of the Hanceville Masonic Lodge, Double “O” Hunting Club and Fairview West Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cornelius Nicky Quick; and his son, John Edward Quick.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Ann Mann Quick of Hanceville; his parents, Robert and Ruby Cone of Hanceville; a son, Randy (Davida) Williamson of Montgomery; a daughter, Margaret Ann Quick of Birmingham; a brother, Jim Cone of Hanceville; a sister, Pat Roberts of Trussville; seven nieces and nephews, Leigh (Darrell) Stovall, Kelly (Shawn) Bowles, both of Birmingham, Sandy (Eric) Rutiger of New Jersey, Alex Mann, Justin Mann, both of Cullman, Gary (Amy) Williamson, Daniel Kilgo, both of Arab; three great-nieces and nephews, Micah Stovall, Matthew Stovall and Kaylee Williamson.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

John Michael Monfort

Graveside services for John Michael Monfort, 46, of Falkville will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2002 at Friendship Methodist Church Cemetery, Tony Johnson officiating.

Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Monfort died Monday, March 25 at Health South Hospital in Birmingham. He was born Dec. 22, 1955 in Glendale, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by his brother, John Christopher Monfort.

Survivors include his wife, Denise Lynn Kuder Monfort of Falkville; his parents, John S. and Wanda Monfort of Phoenix, Ariz.; three sons, John Anthony Monfort, Nicholas Andrew (Christy Micheal) Monfort and Richard Michael Monfort, all of Cullman, his grandmother, Lola Monfort of Alpharetta, Ga.; a brother, John Mark Monfort of Peoria, Ariz.; a sister, Lisa Jean Ruthrauff of Glendale, Ariz.; and three grandchildren, Clayton Andrew Monfort, John Kristopher Wayne Monfort and Destiny Ann Monfort of Cullman.

There will be no visitation.

Minnie Rosell Hogan

Services for Minnie Rosell Hogan, 79, of Cullman, formerly of Birmingham will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2002 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hogan died Monday, March 25 at Woodland Medical Center. She was born June 22, 1922 in Cullman to Paul and Ollie Greathouse Caldwell. She worked in production.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, James W. Hogan.

Survivors include a brother, Eddie Caldwell of Hanceville; and a sister, Beagie M. Floyd of Cullman.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Marjorie Coupar Absher

Marjorie Coupar Absher, 70, of West Point died Saturday, March 23, 2002 at her residence. No services will be held.

Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Absher was born Sept. 3, 1931 in Flint, Mich. to James and Lily Raven Coupar. She was a therapist at North Central Alabama Mental Health Center for 17 years and a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church in Cullman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Harp; and her sister, Lillian Shepheard.

Survivors include her husband, Don Aaron Absher of West Point; three daughters, Lynda Medlock and Lisa Sparks of West Point, Laurie Hasenbein of Hanceville; a son, Craig Harp of West Point; a stepson, Donald Richard Absher of Bartlett, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Jeanette Stinson

Services for Jeanette Stinson, 74, of the Cole Springs community near Falkville will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at Victorious Life Church in Eva, the Revs. Andrew Ball and Jerry Irwin officiating, with burial in Cook Cemetery East. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Peck Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Stinson died Saturday, March 23 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Sept. 23, 1927 in Morgan County to Buford Hubbard and Hattie Tucker Stinson. She was a homemaker and member of Victorious Life Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one grandchild, Kendra Miller.

Survivors include her husband, Lester Stinson of Falkville; four sons, John Stinson and Steve Stinson, both of Hartselle, Jeff Stinson of Falkville and Michael Stinson of Cullman; a daughter, Patricia Long of Falkville; a sister, Wynelle Bolin of Falkville; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Matt Long, Daniel Long, Eric Stinson, Brent Stinson, Blake McNutt, Dustin McNutt and Phillip Miller.

Visitation was Monday.
