Mrs. Virginia Coleman Ferguson passed away Sunday, January 20, 2002
in Cherokee County Nursing Home. She was born in Marshall County, AL
daughter of the late Reuben and Ellen Wilburn Coleman. She was a member of the
First United Methodist Church in Fort Payne, AL She was preceded in death by her
Husband; C. N. Ferguson in 1980.

Funeral service will be 3pm CST Monday, January 21, 2002 at Wilson Funeral Home
Chapel in Fort Payne with Rev. Jimmy Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in the
Glenwood Cemetery. Memorial can be made to the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her Sister; Mrs. Velma Abernathy of Centre, AL
Niece; Paula and John Coggin of Centre, AL
Nephew; Billy Abernathy of Centre, AL

Mr. Ernest W. Wright age 78 of Valley Head, AL passed away
January 24, 2002 at BMC Dekalb Hospital in Fort Payne, AL.
Mr. Wright was a member of the Second Baptist Church and retired
owner of Wrights Paving Co. he was a native of Dekalb County, Alabama
Son of the late Albert and Sally Scott Wright.
Mr. Wright is survived by a daughter; Joyce Wright of Valley Head, AL
Step-Son; Herman Mason of Houston, TX
Brothers; Charlie and Kenneth Wright both of Fort Payne, AL
Sisters; Lillie Dean and Virginia Williams both of Fort Payne, AL
Linda Traffanstedt and Pam Harris both of Chickamauga, GA
Bertha Taylor of Rock Springs, GA
Step-Sisters; Barbara Taylor of Fort Payne, AL, Peggy Radcliffe of Rossville, GA
4 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren
Funeral service will be 3pm Saturday, January 26, 2002 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. John Screws officiating. Burial will follow in the Fort Payne Memorial Gardens

Mrs. Eleanor Nance Hamilton age 76 of McClean VA. passed away Sunday,
July 1, 2001 in the Iaoya Fairfax Hospital. She was the wife of the late Lloyd
W. Hamilton.She was the daughter of the late Homer and Hazel Nance.
She was born in Gadsden, AL, lived in Collinsville, AL and attended
Collinsville High School, graduated in 1941. She attended Ward-Belmont
College in Nashville, TN also attended the University of Alabama
She was a Press Officer, a Capital Hill Staffer who served as a press officer
with the National Trust for Historic Preservation from the mid 1960's to 1970's
She covered the news for the Capital Hill Southern Newspaper Group. Was on staff
with Rep. Albert M. Rains (D-AL.) and the House Banking Committee.
She was past President of the Parent-Teachers Association at Langley High School
in McClean, VA. National Press Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, and
active in historical preservation work in Fairfax County.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Holy
Trinity Episcopal Academy, 50 West Strawbridge Ave.

Funeral services will be Graveside services at Collinsville Cemetery
At 4pm CDT on Thursday, July 5, 2001 with Rev. James E. Elliott
officiating.

Survivors include her Sons; John N. Hamilton of Melbourn, FL.,
and Thomas J. Hamilton of Fairfax, VA
Brother; James H. Nance of Melbourn, FL
Grandchildren; Katherine and Patrick.

Mr. John B. (John Boy) Ashley age 29 of Gadsden, AL passed away
July 30, 2001 at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, AL
The family request no flowers, donation can be made to the
Cerable Palsy Association

He was an organ donor to the Eye Bank Foundation. A special thanks to the
Riverview Medical Center 6th floor staff.
John Boy was a very loving and special to God, he will be missed by everyone.

Home - Sharpe Chapel with Rev. Mike Isbell officiating. Burial will follow in the
Collinsville Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery.

Mrs. Buna Hall age 90 of Fyffe, AL passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2001
at the Crossville Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 5, 2001 at Harris Funeral Home
Chapel with Burial will follow in the Geraldine First Baptist Church Cemetery.
Rev. Jim Griffin will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursay,
July 5, 2001 at 1pm CDT

Mrs. hall was preceded in death by her Husband; Roy Hall

Mrs. Hall was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fyffe, AL. She also
retired from public school as a teacher.

Miss Bea Batchelor age 65 of Crossville, AL passed away Tuesday,
July 3, 2001 at her residence. Funeral services will be Friday, July 6, 2001
at 2pm CDT at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Dekalb
Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 5, 2001

Mrs. Irene P. Davis age 83 of Crossville, AL passed away
Sunday, July 22, 2001 at Huntsville Hospital. Funeral services
will be Tuesday, July 24, 2001 at 11am CDT at the Union Grove
Baptist Church with burial in the Crossville Cemetery.
The body will lie in state from 10:30am until 11am CDT

Monday, July 16, 2001 at the Marshall Medical Center South
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 18, 2001 at the Geraldine
First Baptist Church with burial in the Geraldine First Baptist
Church Cemetery. Rev. Charles Jones and Chris Andrews will
officiate.

Mary Janette Roberts age 59 of Sylvania, AL passed away Thursday,

Mrs. Corry Adams Griffith age 96 of Dutton, AL passed away
Wednesday, July 11, 2001. Funeral services will be Friday,
July 13, 2001 at 1pm CDT at Kerby Funeral Home Chapel
Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery. in Dutton, AL
Visitation will be Friday, July 13, 2001 from 11am CDT until time
