age 76 of Rainsville, AL passed away Sunday, June 16, 2002 at her residence.

Funeral service will be Monday, June 17, 2002 at 4pm CDT at the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Elder
Edward Mines and Bro. Charles Willmon officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Memory Gardens

Survivors include her Daughters; Gail Gillespie of Fort Payne, AL., Joyce Ramon of Rainsville, AL.,
Beverly Williams of Rainsville, AL., and Regina Henderson of Rainsville, AL
Brother; Bobby Haston of Cedar Bluff, AL
Sisters Louise Barnes of Trion, GA and Sue Hazelrigs of Centre, AL
Grandchildren; Tina Whiteside, Steven Scaggs, Kala Kirby, Jamie Schrader, James Holcomb, Amanda Henderson,
Alison Henderson, and Jonathan Henderson.

MR. CLEMENT SMITH

Mr. Clement Smith, age 69 of Chattanooga, TN passed away Monday, June 17, 2002 at his residence. The family received friends on Wednesday, June 19, 2002 at 10:00 AM.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 20, 2002 from Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Benny Mills officiating. Burial followed in the Highway Church of God Cemetery with Rainsville Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include: wife, Wilma Smith of Chattanooga, TN; son, Ricky (Gayla) Smith of Ringold, GA; two granddaughters, Tori Akers and Lilly Smith; three sisters, Doshia Watson of Collinsville, Wanda Spears and Goldia Treadaway both of Fyffe; two brothers, Ray Smith of Rome, GA; Hilmon Smith of Flint, MI; several nieces and nephews.

MRS. NELL KING

age 80 of Rainsville, AL passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2002 in BMC Montclair in Birmingham, AL

Funeral service will be Friday, June 21, 2002 at the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin McCreless, Rev.
Briggs King and Rev. Bill King officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Memory Gardens.

Survivors include her Sons; Elbert king, Rev. Briggs King both of Rainsville, AL and Dr. Bill King of Olive MS.
Daughter; Joan King Dobson of Peeks Corner Community.
Sister; Katherine Smith of Henagar, AL
Grandchildren; Theresa King, Paul King, Phillip King, April Badgett Coffman, Carla Badgett Faulker, Jessica Dobson,
and Ashley King
Great-Grandchildren; Micheal Hickey, Alesia Hickey, Jonathan King, David King, Rachel King, Jacob King,
Katie Johnson, Ben Johnson, Avery Jones, Adam Coffman, and Joshua Coffman

MR. J.T. BOWERS

Mr. J. T. Bowers, age 73 of Rainsville, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2002 at his residence.

The family received friends Sunday, June 23, 2002 from 2-5 PM.

Funeral service was held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 24, 2002 from Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Griffin officiating. Burial followed in Broadway Cemetery with Rainsville Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include: Mother, Bernice Holliday of Rainsville, and several cousins.

Mr. Bowers was a Lifetime member of the VFW.

MRS. NANCY ELIZABETH SUGGS

Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Suggs, age 76 of Pisgah passed away Friday, June 7, 2002 in Jackson County Hospital, Scottsboro, AL.

Funeral service will be Monday, June 10, 2002 at 11:00 AM at Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Ira Brock and Gerald Wootten officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery at Pisgah, AL with Kerby Funeral Home, Henagar, AL in charge.

MR. JACK DARWIN

Age 64 of Pisgah, AL (Rosalie Community) passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2002 in the Jackson County Hospital in
Scottsboro, AL.

Born on Jackson County and he was a member of the Macklin Baptist Church. he was preceded in death by his
Parents; Jim and Annie J, Darwin
Brothers; Bill, D.O., John and Aubrey Darwin
Sisters; Mutt Marona, Ruth Hall, and Lucille Barge

He is survived by his Wife; Gerrie Darwin of Rosalie, AL
Son; Tony Moore of Rosalie, AL
Daughter and Son-in-law; Marsha and Wendell Marona of Rosalie, AL
Sister; Mrs. Pearl D. Leonard of Carrolton, GA
Grandchildren; Clayton and Lila Marona, Tony Wayne Moore and Brooke Moore, Eric and Skylar Moore

Funeral service will be Thursday, June 14, 2002 CDT at the Macklin Baptist Church with Rev Bud Durham and Bill Bass
officiating. Burial will follow in the Green haven Memorial Gardens

MR. ROYCE A. (BLOSSOM) WILLIAMS

Mr. Royce A. (Blossom) Williams, age 79 of Pisgah, AL Central Community passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2002 at his residence. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 19, 2002 from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM, and Thursday, June 20, 2002 from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM CST on Thursday, June 20, 2002 at Kerby Funeral Home, Henagar, AL with Elder Ben Barrentine officiating. Burial will follow in Green haven Memorial Gardens, Jackson County, AL.

Born in Jackson County, AL, he was retired from E.I. Dupont & Co. with 31 years of service. He was a WWII veteran, preceded in death by parents, William Don and Henrietta Williams Richards; wife, Helen Garner Willaims; and son, Bobby Alton Williams.

Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Diana Willaims of High Point Community; Bill and Michelle Williams of Blake Community; daughter, Brenda Williams of Central Community; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Leon Williams of Ellijay, GA; brothers, Wesley Richards of Dallas, TX; Larry Richards of Whiteside, TN; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

MRS. HESTER E. CASEY WATKINS

Mrs. Hester E. Casey Watkins, age 89 of Henagar, AL passed away Saturday, June 22, 2002 at Jackson County Hospital. The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM Sunday, June 23, and Monday, June 24, from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Monday, June 24 from Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Bobo officiating. Burial will follow in Henagar Cemetery with Kerby Funeral Home in charge.

Survivors include: Sister and Brother-in-law, Mary Dixie and Juel Emery of Powell, TN, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Martin Luther and Anna V. Lula Horton Casey; her husband, Elder Jim Watkins; brothers, Thornton, Asa, Judson, Luther, Marion, and Hobson Casey; sister, Bonnie Casey Elam.

Mrs. Watkins was a member of the Concord Baptist Church in Henagar, AL and the Henagar Chapter of the Eastern Star. She was a graduate of the Berry Nursing College in Rome, GA and worked in hospitals in Tennessee and Alabama. She was born in DeKalb County, AL.

MR. DILMUS MACK ROGERS, SR.

Mr.Dilmus Mack Rogers, Sr., age 71 of Henagar (Browntown Community), passed away Monday, June 24, 2002 in Memorial Hospital, Chattanooga, TN.

The family will receive friends from 4:30-9:00 PM CST Tuesday, June 25, 2002 and Wednesday, June 26, 2002 from 8:30 AM until time of service.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM CST Wednesday, June 26, 2002 from Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Crawford and Rev. Michael Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Fuller Cemetery, Ider, AL.

Survivors include: wife of 30 years, Becky Bible Rogers, Henagar; son and daughter-in-law, Mack Jr. and Mary Ann Rogers, Chattanooga, TN; brothers, Deaun Rogers, Henagar and James Rogers, Fort Payne; sisters, Imanell Stallings, Fort Payne, Josell Glass, Marietta, GA, Betty Jean White, Cleveland, TN, Sybil Cook, Fort Payne and Leslie Guinn, Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Bob Rogers and Scott Rogers, Chattanooga, TN.

Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by his parents, Buster and Ethel Chesser Rogers. He was born in DeKalb County, AL, a member of the Pisgah Baptist Church, a Korean Veteran, and a recipient of the Purple Heart medal.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the hospice center of their choice.

Mr. Edgar Truman Crow age 85 of Collinsville, AL passed away Sunday,
June 24, 2001 at Dekalb BMC Hospital. Funeral services will be
Tuesday, June 26, 2001 at 2pm CDT at the Collinsville Funeral Home
Sharpe Chapel. Burial will follow in the Plunkett Cemetery with Rev.
Frank Teal officiating.

Mrs. Cora Belle Boozer age 83 of Fyffe, AL passed away Tuesday,
June 5, 2001 at the Marshall Medical Center South. Funeral services will
be Thursday, June 7, 2001 at 2pm CDT at the Rainsville Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Verlon Stiefel and Rev. Jerry Guinn officiating
Burial will follow in the Green 's Chapel Cemetery.

Survivors include her Daughter and Son-in-law; Dennis June and Homer Lee

Mr. Harvey Andrews age 81 of Rainsville, AL formerly of the High Point
Community passed away Friday, June 8, 2001at his residence. Funeral services will
be Sunday, June 10, 2001 at1pm CDT at the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Durell Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery.
