with Rev. Keary Chandler officiating.

Age 88 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Tuesday, June 11, 202 in the Hutcheson Medical Center

Funeral service will be Friday, June 15, 2002at 2pm CDT at the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with
burial to follow in the Town Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann (Bettye) Stiefel age 54 of Rainsville, AL
passed away Thursday, June 7, 2001 at BMc Dekalb Hospital.
Funeral services will be Sunday, June 10, 2001 at 3pm CDT
at the Rainsville First Baptist Church, body will lie in state
from 1:30 until time of service with Rev. Steve McFall,
Rev. Glenn Wilson, and Rev. Lamar Bobo. Burial will follow
in the Kirk Memorial Gardens family will receive friends Saturday,
June 9, 2001 from 10am until 9pm CDT and Sunday, June 10, 2001
from 1:30 until time of services at the church only

Survivors include her Husband; D. L. Stiefel of Rainsville, AL
Sons and Daughter-in-laws; Dennis and Angela Stiefel of Rainsville, AL.,

Mr. Lionel Garmany age 57 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Monday
June 11, 2001 at his residence. Funeral services will be Tuesday,
June12, 2001 at 3pm CDT at the High Point Church of God. Body will lie i
n state at the Church 1 hour prior of service with Rev. Larry Haynes officiating.
Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Mamie Fletcher Ridgeway age 88 of Rainsville, AL
passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2001 at BMC Dekalb Hospital
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 16, 2001 at 11am CDT at he
Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phillip Webb officiating.
Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery.

Survivors include her Daughter and Son-in-law; Carma Leda
and Stanley Taylor of Gadsden, AL
Grandson and Granddaughter-in-law; Spence and Greta Taylor
in Birmingham, AL

She was preceded in death by her Husband W. H. Ridgeway.

Mrs. Louise Gifford age 75 of Rainsville, AL passed away
Friday, June 15, 2001 at her residence. Funeral services
will be Sunday, June 17, 2001 at 2pm CDT at the New
Canaan Baptist Church with Rev. G. W. Reed and Rev. Tevis Carr.
Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Survivors include her Sons; Johnny Gifford, Kenneth Gifford,
and Donald Gifford all of Rainsville, AL

Mrs. Verma Willingham age 89 of Rainsville, AL passed away
Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at her residence. Funeral service
will be Wednesday, June 27, 2001 at 2pm CDT
at Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Steve McFall and Rev.
Bob Pruitt of Mt. View Memory Gardens

Mrs. Alma Black Tilley age 89 of Rainsville, AL passed away
Wednesday, June 27, 2001 at BMC Princeton. Funeral services will be
Saturday, June 30, 2001 at 4pm CDT. Body will Lie in state
at the church from 3 until 4pm CDT at Old Sardis Holiness Church.
with Rev. Bro. Lloyd Smith and Rev. Oron Whitley officiating.
Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs. Tilley was preceded in death by her Husbands; Anderson O. Black and
Autman Tilley and her Son; David Black and Grandson; Tony Black

Mr. Clarence Nix age 82 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Friday,
June 1, 2001 at the V. A. Hospital in Birmingham, AL Mr. Nix
was born May 3, 1919 in Marion Co., AL, son of the late
Cleatus LayFette and Viola Melverta Lindsey Nix. He was a
veteran of WW II and retired from HimCo MFg. CO. where he worked
as a Machinist and was a member of Jesus Covenant Church. His Sister,
Cleo Smith preceded him in death June 1, 2001

Funeral servives will be 2pm CDT Sunday, June 3, 2001 at Wilson
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Autry Barnhill officiating. Burial
will follow in the New Testament Holiness Cemetery.

Mr. Armando C. Quizon age 76 of Fort Payne, AL passed away
Sunday, June 3, 2001 at BMC Dekalb Hospital in Fort Payne, AL
Mr. Quizon was born in the Philippine, may 3, 1925. he was a
retired from Black's Mfc. Co and a member of the Our Lady
of the Valley Catholic Church

Funeral services will be 11am Wednesday, June 6, 2001 from
Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church with Father Frank Blazak
officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family
will receive friends Tuesday, June 5, 2001 from 5 until 9pm CDT
at the funeral home.

Mrs. Frances McReynolds age 42 of Fort Payne, AL passed away
Tuesday, June 5, 2001 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She was born the
daughter of Charles and Ethel Jackson Williams. She was a member of
Pleasant View United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be 2pm CDT Friday, June 8, 2001 at Wilson
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Russel officiating. Burial will follow in the
Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 7, 2001
from 5 - 8pm CDT at the funeral home.

Mr. Irby C. Harris age 73 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Thursday,
June7, 2001 in a Birmingham Hospital. Mr. Harris was born in Dekalb
Co. on March 25, 1928 son of the late W. B. and Edna Long Harris.
He was president of Harris Land Co. a member of the Dekalb County
Democratic party, former founder of Harris Motor Company, Dodge
& Studebaker Co. Former city councilman, Fort Payne Improvement
Board, Fort Payne Water Board, Dekalb-Cherokee Gas District,
Fort Payne Masonic Lodge 437 F&AM, Alhambra Shrine Temple,
active with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America, Little League
Baseball and mental Health Association. he was preceded in death by
a Son, Jimmy Harris and a Daughter; Charlotte Harris

Funeral services will be 2pm CDT Saturday, June 9, 2001 at Wilson
funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alton Vaughn and Rev. Erskine Davis
officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers
include Joe Gillespe, J. C. Toler, Micky Murdock, Farley Green,
Jimmy Tidmore, Ron Baker, Gary Haas and Mack Cooper.
Honorary Pallbearers include Bill Scruggs, John Darnell, Paul Thomas,

Mrs. Mable Call age 101 of Fort Payne, AL passed away June 9, 2001
She was born in Lennox Ohio, and a 50 year Member of the First Baptist
Church Conneaut, Ohio, and a retired Book Keeper

Mrs. Call is survived by her Son and Daughter-in-law; Kenneth and Shirley Call
of Fort Payne, AL
Several Nieces and Nephews

Graveside services will be 11 am Tuesday, June 12, 2001 at the
East Conneaut Cemetery, Conneaut, Ohio with Rev. Ronnie Highfield
officiating.
