He was an Auburn University Graduate of the Agriculture Department and
a veteran of WW II. He was a member of the Collinsville Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be at the Collinsville Funeral Home - Sharpe Chapel
on Wednesday, November 21, 2001 at 11am CST with
Rev. Henry Golson and Rev. John Morgan.
Burial will follow in the Collinsville Cemetery.

Mr. Paul J. Yancy age 75 of Chattanooga, TN passed away Monday, November 4, 2002 at his residence. Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 6, 2002 at 11am CST at the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Bell officiating, Burial will follow in the National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN at 1pm CST

Mr. Robert Preston "Bob" Ham, Sr. age 72 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Monday, November 4, 2002 at BMC Montclair. Memorial service will be Thursday, November7, 2002 at 2pm CST at the First United Methodist Church in Fort Payne, AL. The family will receive friends at 12 noon CST on Thursday, November 7, 2002

MR. CHARLES EDWARD MURPHY

Mr. Charles Edward Murphy age 59 of fort Payne, AL passed away Monday, November 11, 2002 following a sudden illness. Mr. Murphy was born June 5, 1943 son of the late Charles William Murphy. He was a member of the Delmar Baptist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, serving Vietnam. He was a member of the Pisgah Masonic Lodge and Boiler maker belonging to the Local 454 in Chattanooga, TN

Funeral service will be 2pm CST Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Irby Wallace and Rev. Kenneth Moses officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. with Masonic Graveside Rites

MR. J. B. THOMPSON

Mr. J. B. Thompson age 82 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Saturday November 16, 2002at BMC Dekalb Hospital.
Graveside service will be 11am Monday, November 18, 2002 at Glenwood Cemetery.

MRS. AUDRY THOMPSON BAXTER

Mrs. Audry Thompson Baxter age 85 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Monday, November 18, 2002 at BMC Hospital. Mrs. baxter was born in December 13, 1916 in Dekalb County, AL daughter of the late George W. and Ola Pendergrass Thompson. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Husband; J. W. Baxter and Son; John W. Baxter.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at 2pm CST from Mt. Herman Cemetery. The family will accept flowers but request the donations be made to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Genise "Nicee" Ann Wells age 31 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Saturday, November 23, 2002 in an automobile accident.

Funeral service will be 2pm CST Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Kysor and Rev. Jimmy Dan Clanton officiating. Burial will follow in the Walker's Chapel Cemetery.

MRS. JUANITA FREEMAN SIMPSON

Mrs. Juanita Freeman Simpson age 77 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Thursday, November21, 2002 at her residence. Mrs. Simpson was born April 13, 1926 in Dekalb County, AL daughter of the late Walter Lee and Hettie Marie Wooten Moore. She was a member of the Southeast Baptist Church. Her Husband; J. T. Simpson preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be 2pm CST Sunday, November 24, 2002 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Benjie Mason and Mike Leath officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery.

MR. HUGH LANE TIDMORE

Mr. Hugh Lane Tidmore age 65 of the Dogtown Community, Fort Payne, AL passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at his residence. Mr. Tidmore was a native of Dekalb County, AL, born january 16, 1937, son of the late Doyle and Mattie Monroe Tidmore. He attended Walker's Chapel Methodist Church, where be blessed many with his testimonies. He performed many jobs in his lifetime, one was opening and closing graves for local funeral homes in this area. He mowed yards and took care of Walker's Chapel Cemetery. many will remember Hugh for selling produce across from the park. He and his Dad were truck farmers and spent the night at the farmers market. In his later years, he was known for his dealing with socks, where he sold at Trade Day and Flea Markets in the area. He will be remember most for his personality and great sense of humor.

Funeral service will be 2pm CST Friday, November 29, 2002 at the Walker's Chapel Methodist Church. with Rev.Darrell Morgan, Rev. Shawn Sims, and Rev. Tony Mahathy officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Survivors include his Wife of 38 years; Myrtle Jane McPherson Tidmore

MRS. MARY "WELDEN" CLARK

Mrs. Mary "Welden" Clark age 73 of Ider, AL passed away Friday, November 1, 2002 at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. She was born in Dekalb County, AL and a member of the New Bethel Church of God in Ider, AL. She was preceded in death by her Son: Lonnie Clark, Parents; Samford and Ellen "York" Welden, Brothers, Calvin, Henry, James, Sam, Robert, Bill, Paul, Sant, and George Weldon and Sister; Zelma Welden

Mr. Carl J. "Shorty" Phillips age 53 of Flat Rock, AL passed away Friday, November 8, 2002 at the Jackson County Hospital in Scottsboro, AL, He was born in Dade County, GA., a farmer by trade and he attended the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church in Flat Rock, AL

MR. Horace Releford age 77 of Rosalie, AL passed away Sunday, November 17, 2002 in the Jackson County Hospital in Scottsboro, AL. Born on Jackson County, AL and a Veteran of WWII, having served in the U. S. Army in Japan and operated the Rosalie Cafe for 48 years

Mr. Sisk was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Briscoe Hollifield

and Rachel Mae Sisk and one son, Keith Eugene, Sisk.

Mr. Sisk was retired from New Port News Ship Building in New Port News, VA

Mrs. Tonya Beryl Keyt Dick age 29 of Fort Payne, AL died Tuesday from

injuries received in an automobile accident. Tonya was born July 24, 1970

in Chattanooga, TN daughter of the late Robert Keyt. She was baptist by

faith and employed at Wee Socks of Fort Payne.

Survivors include her husband, Eddie Dick of Fort Payne, AL. Daughters;

Kaci Dick and Lori Dick of Fort Payne, AL. Mother; Awilda Roberts Keyt

of Fort Payne, AL and Stephanie, Sansom, Chattanooga, TN.

Funeral services will be held at 3pm CDT Thursday, May 4, 2000 from the

Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David House and Rev.

Ronnie Highfield officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Miss Annie Rose Sims age 66 of Collinsville, AL died Wednesday, May 3,

2000 at Collinsville Funeral Home in Collinsville, AL. Funeral services

will be at 2pm Friday, May 5, 2000 at the Collinsville Funeral Home - Sharpe

Chapel. Burial will be in the Black Oak Cemetery.
