Mrs. Kathy Twilley Turner age 42 of Valley Head AL died Tuesday August
29 2000 in a auitomobile accident Mrs. Turner was born November 27 1957 in
Jonesboro Georgia daughter of Clearon Twilley and Elsie Green Twilley. Mrs.
Turner was a Massage Therapist and owned her own business. She was preceded
in death by her son Brad Twilley

.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Friday September 2000 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Walkers Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5-9 PM at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband Dalton Turner of Valley Head AL, parents Clearon and Elsie Twilley of Fort Payne AL, sisters Karen Mayo, Kellie Johnson, Lynne Hurtt, Karla Twilley all of Fort Payne Al, several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Imogene Laney age 68 of Bryant, AL passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2000
in the North Jackson Hospital in Stevenson, AL. Funeral services will be Friday,
September 1, 2000 at 12 pm CDT at the Higdon Holiness Church in Higdon, AL
with Brother Shirley Byrum and Edwin Spurgeon officiating. Burial will follow in the Bryant
Holiness Cemetery in Bryant, AL

Survivors include her Husband, Mark L. Laney of Bryant, AL
Son, Larry N. Laney of Bryant, AL
Daughter, Regina Morgan of Bryant, AL
Brothers, Joel Key of Scottsboro, AL and Wendell Key of Bryant, AL
Sisters, Reba Wooden of South Pittsburg, TN and Mevelyne Mundy of
Chickamauga, GA.
Grandchildren, Tim Beaty, Clarissa Lawson, Olivia Buttram, Chelsea Morgan
and Chase Morgan.
Great-Grandchildren, Brooke Lawson, Breanna Defriese and Brandy Defriese.

Mrs. Laney was preceded in death by her parents, C. Henry and Flossie
(Brewer) Key, a son, Barry Laney.

She was a member of the Higdon Holiness Church in Higdon, AL
The family will receive friends at he Higdon Holiness Church on
Thursday, August 31, 2000 after 11am CDT up until the time of service
on Friday.

Mr. T. E. Brooks of Rainsville, AL passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2000
At BMC- Dekalb Hospital. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 31, 2000
at 4pm CDT at the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Anthony Pannell officiating.
Burial will follow in the Kirk memorial Gardens.

Survivors include 1 Son; James E. Brooks of Sylvania, AL, 1 Daughter; Sylvia
Mae Dobbs of Marritta, GA, 1 Brother; J. D. Brooks of Rossville, GA,
3 Sisters; Emma Parker of Chattanooga, TN, Marie Pendergrass of Boaz, AL
and Thelma Lee Davis of Henagar, AL
7 Grandchildren and several Great-Grandchildren.

Mrs. Mary Belle Shelton age 80 of Rainsville, AL passed away Wednesday,
August 30, 2000 at Sunbridge Nursing Home. Funeral services will be
Saturday, September 2, 2000 at 11am CDT. at the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Bart Bowlin officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
family will receive friends Friday 2 to4 pm CDT and 5 to 9pm CDT.

Survivors include 3 Sons; Ruby Shelton of Coltewah, TN, John Shelton
of Marietta, GA, Marian Shelton of Bedford of Bradford, TX
3 Daughters; Janice Palmer of Fort Worth, TX, Marilyn Shelton of Saint Louis, MO,
Beth Luedke of Fort Oglethorpe, GA
1 Brother; Charles M. Black of Newport News, VA.
13 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren.

Mrs. Shelton was preceded in death by her Husband, John M. Shelton.

Mrs. Wilma Fraiser age 67 of Fyffe, AL passed away Wednesday,
August 30, 2000 at her residence. Funeral services will be Friday, September 1, 2000
At the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel at 2pm CDT with Rev. Clinton Graham and
Rev Roger Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the Green s's Chapel Cemetery.

Survivors include 2 Daughters and Son-in-law; Tammy and Terry Bryant of
Fyffe, AL and Melissa Fraiser of Fyffe, AL.

4 Sisters; Aubie M. Dean of Fort Payne, AL, Estelle Morrison of Trenton, GA,
Betty M. Gilbert and Ruth Ramsey both of Chattanooga, TN

Mrs. Frasier was preceded in death by her husband, L. C. Fraiser,
Son, James Fraiser, Parents, Rev. and Mrs. Luther Dean, Sister, Margaret Richards.

Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Lassetter age 52 of Pisgah, AL passed away
Wednesday, August 8, 2001. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 9, 2001
at 2pm CDT until 9pm CDT. Funeral services will be Friday, August 10, 2001
at 11am CDT at the Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Burial will follow in the
Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Henagar, AL

Mrs. Debra Chylane Mitchell at 41 of Fort Payne, AL passed away
Wednesday, August 8, 2001. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 11, 2001
at 1pm CDT at the Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with burial following
in the Mt. Home Cemetery in Henagar, AL.
Visitation will be from 4:30pm CDT Friday, August 10, 2001
until 9pm CDT and Saturday, August 11, 2001 from 11am CDT until time of
service.

Mrs. Annie Lou Horton age 77 of Higdon, AL passed away Thursday,
August 16, 2001. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 18, 2001
at the Kerby Funeral Home chapel at 2pm CDT. Burial will follow in the
Fuller Cemetery in Ider, AL. Visitation will be Saturday, August 18, 2001
from 8:30 am until time of service.

Mrs. Rebecca Wheeler age 84 of Pisgah, AL passed away in the
Jackson County Hospital in Scottsboro, AL on Saturday, August 18, 2001
Mrs. Wheeler was one of "The Rosie Riveters" on the Bombers during WWII,
also retired from Andover Togs and a member of the Pisgah Baptist Church
in Pisgah, AL. She was preceded in death by her Parents; James Elwood
and Claudia Scogin, Her Husband; W. B. "Scrub" Wheeler,
Grandson; Bethel Wheeler, Sons; Bill and Al Wheeler, and Daughter;
Rachel Wheeler

Survivors include her Son; Robert Wheeler of Pisgah, AL
Daughters; Gwen Ross of Pisgah, AL, and Kathy Woodfin of Pisgah, AL
Brothers; Ed Scogin of Spring City, TN and Elwood Scogin of Kennesaw, GA

Funeral services will be Monday, August 20, 2001 at 11am CDT at the
Pisgah, Baptist Church in Pisgah, AL. The Body will lie in state at the church
from 10am CDT until time of service with Rev. Alan Crawford and Rev. Bill Lett
officiating. Burial will follow in the Pisgah Cemetery in Pisgah, AL

Mrs. Cora Lee Smothers age 78 of Henagar, AL passed away Saturday,
August 25, 2001. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 28, 2001
at the Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Burial will follow in the
Liberty hill Cemetery in Henagar, AL.

Visitation will be from 2:30pm CDT on Sunday, August 26, 2001
until 9pm CDT and Monday, August 27, 2001 from 8:30am CDT
until 9pm CDT, and Tuesday, August 28, 2001 from 8:30am CDT
until time of service.

Mr. Grady Breedwell age 77 of Flat Rock, AL passed away Thursday,
August 29, 2001 in a Huntsville Hospital. He was preceded in death by his
Parents; Leam and Ollie "Waites" Breedwell

He is survived by his Wife; Katherine L. Breedwell of Flat Rock, AL

Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday, September 1, 2001
at Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Waldon officiating.
Burial will be in the Maxwell Cemetery.

Elsie Rebecca Pullen Keys born in Randolph County, AL on
October 23, 1914 and a resident of Albuquerque since 1989,
passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2001. Elsie, a truly gifted
cook, seamstress and gardener is survived by her Daughter:
Judith Ann and Husband; Lloyd Strosnider of Albuquerque
Granddaughters; Jenny Farrell of Nashville, TN. and Ryley
Farrell of Phoenix, AZ.
Sisters; Juanita Stone and Husband; Royce and family,
Tera Burt and Husband; Gordon and family. R'Ella Mountain and
Husband; Rodney and Daughter; and Brother; Jesse Pullen and Wife;
Bea and family, as well as Agnes Nunn and family all of Alabama.
Surviving in Albuquerque and Santa Fe are Nephews; Mike Pickard
and Griffin Packard and Wife; Katy and family. In South Carolina,
Bill and Ann Keys and family survive Elsie. Dear extended family members
are Mikell and Sherman Freelin and Children; Jodi and Tim Strosnider and family,
Lorraine and Pat Strosnider and family, Molly and
Bib Lesch and family. Leigh Wright and family, and Richard Rede.
Many dear friends in Henagar, AL, as well as those in Tennessee,
all remained daily in her thoughts and prayers. She was preceded in death
by her Husband; Thomas Brady Keys; her Son; William M. Keys
her Parents; Lucy and Pullen
Step-Mother; Dea
Sisters; Mattie Bell, Eula and Fay
Brothers; William and Kermit
Elsie was a member of the Methodist Church in Henagar, AL and also
the Eastern Star. She leaves with us beautiful quilts, recipes, and memories.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 1, 2001 from 5pm CDT until
8pm CDT at Kerby Funeral Home Chapel in Henagar, AL
Funeral services will be Sunday, September 2, 2001 at 3pm CDT at the Kerby Funeral
Home Chapel Buril will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the Nurses, Doctors, and Staff who worked with
Presbyterian Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions of paper products,
non-perishable foods, etc. may be made to Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice
