Pauline Colquitt
Pauline Colquitt, 69, of Grove Oak, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2005 at Marshall Medical Center South.

Ondyne Payne Strickland
Ondyne Payne Strickland, 83, of Sylvania, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2005 at DeKalb Baptist Medical Center.

Virginia Arnold Allen

Virginia Arnold Allen, 74, of Scottsboro, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at Huntsville Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Crowe officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Allen is survived by her son, William Allen of Scottsboro; three grandchildren, Garrett Allen of Scottsboro, Cody Allen of Huntsville and Rose Wilson of New Hope; one great-grandson, Jordan Allen; one sister, Martha Moore of Grant; and her sister-in-law and husband, Sue and Elmer Pittman.

Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Allen.

Hazel Virginia Phillips, 76, of Cloudland, Ga., passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.

Funeral services were held on Monday, February 28 at 3 p.m. at Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marlin Williams officiating. Burial followed in New Home Cemetery.

Visitation services will be held on Thursday, April 21 from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sanders is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judie and Matt Hollis of Pisgah; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Jeannette Sanders of Scottsboro; grandchildren, Dustin and Casey Thackerson of Albertville, Will Hollis of Pisgah, Shanna Hollis of Pisgah, Justin Long of Scottsboro and Brandon Sanders; great-grandchild, Morgan Thackerson of Albertville; sisters, Myrtle Thomas of Scottsboro, Velma Edwards of Scottsboro, Pearly Bell of Scottsboro, Janie Dalton of Skyline, Emma Collins of Dutton and Estelle Smith of Hollywood; brother, Martin Wright of Scottsboro; special friend, Don Burt; and several nieces and nephews.

She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
