Rev. Quineth Haney

Rev. Quineth Haney age 72 of Guin, AL died Saturday, October 2, 2004 at his residence.

Born in Guin, AL. He is the son of the late Sterlon and Willie Pinkerton Haney and the Wife of Loventrice Robertson Haney. He had lived in the Mt. Willing Community all of his life. He was a Mason and a Veteran of the Korean War having served in the National Guard Army and received the Korean Service Medal and a Bronze Star. He was a Free Will Baptist Minister and had pastored in several Marion County Free Will Baptist Churches.

He is survived by his Wife, Loventrice Robertson Haney of Guin, AL, Two Daughters, Kathy (Eddie) Haney Lindsey and Beverly (Tommy) Fields all of Guin, AL, A Son, Scotty Haney of Guin, AL, 4 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Step Granddaughter, Five Sisters, Shelby (Vance) Pollard, Sue Sizemore all of Guin, AL, Charleen (Walt) Prayer of San Diego, CA, Barbara (Talmadge) Mosley of Lady Lake, FL, Margaret (George) Neff of Jacksonville, FL, and Four Brothers, George (Beverly) Haney, and Dwayne Haney all of Birmingham, AL, Conney (Peggy) Haney and E.B. (Betty) Pinkerton all of Guin, AL.

He was also preceded in death by a Sister, Ruby Haney and A Brother, Glen Haney.

Services held Tuesday, October 5, 2004 2:00 PM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Mt. Willing Cemetery. Bro. Randy Tice and Bro. William L. Atkins officiating.

Ella Hall Olds

Ella Hall Olds age 74 of Fairfield, AL died Sunday, August 26, 2004 in the Civic Center Health and Rehab Center in Birmingham, AL.

Born in Guin, Alabama. She is the Daughter of the late Jessie and Odie Terrell Hall and the Wife of the late Edmond Olds, Sr. She had lived in Birmingham and Fairfield for several years. She was a member of the Church Of Christ.

She is survived by Two Daughters, Joyce Olds of Chicago, IL and Mary Olds of Fairfield, AL, Four Sons, Edmond Olds, Jr. of Fairfield, AL, Milton Olds, Gary Olds and Randall Olds all of Birmingham, AL, A Sister Mary Wallace Willford of Los Angeles, CA, Two Brothers, Moses Hall of Atlanta, GA and O.J. Hall of Guin, AL, 11 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Services held Saturday, October 2, 2004 at 11:00 AM from the White Rock Church Of Christ with burial in the Beaver Creek Cemetery. Mr. Steve Clark officiating.

Billy Gene Pratt

Billy Gene Pratt age 72 of Guin, Alabama died Monday, September 13, 2004 at his residence.

Born in Marion County, Alabama. He is the Son of the late John Paul and Lillie Chloe Shaw Pratt. He had worked for John Deere Company in Rock Island, IL for 21 years. He had lived in Guin since 1971 and had also worked for the 3M Company. He was a Veteran of the Korean War having served in the US Army and a member of the Liberty Free Will Baptist Church.

He is survived by A Niece, Melissa Pace of Moline, IL and Two Nephews, Mike Pratt of Davenport, IA and Mitch Pratt of Moline, IL.

He was also preceded in death by Two Brothers, James Ray Pratt and Joe Paul Pratt.

Funeral Services held Saturday, September 18, 2004 at 2:00 PM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Guin City Cemetery. Bro. James Carrington and Bro. Randy Wright officiating.

William T. Woods

William T. Woods age 77 of Sulligent, Alabama died Monday, September 13, 2004 in the DCH Regional Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Born in Vernon, Alabama. He is the Son of the late James Belton and Ruby Gray Robertson Woods. He had lived in the Shiloh North Community most of his life and was a member of the Shiloh North Methodist Church. He had worked for Coy Glenn Garment Company for 37 years, was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a Veteran of World War II having served in the US Army.

He is survived by his Wife, Jessie Nell Woolbright Woods of Sulligent, AL, Three Daughters, Phyllis (Thomas) Lucas of Sulligent, AL, Pamela (Don) Reed of Woodstock, GA and Tammy L. Woods of Tuscaloosa, AL, A Son, Terry (Sandra) Woods of Sulligent, AL. Three Grandchildren, Melanie Reeves, Savanna Woods and Ty Woods, Two Great Grandchildren, Dustan Reeves and Lucas Reeves and A Brother, James Franklin Woods of Tuscaloosa, AL.

Funeral Services held Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at 11:00 AM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Fellowship Cemetery. Bro. Johnny Freeman and Bro. Jeff Scott officiating.
