Clayton Arnold
SCOTTSBORO - Clayton Arnold, 88, of Scottsboro, died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home with the Rev. J.A. Linville officiating.
Burial will be in Center Point Cemetery.
Mr. Arnold was a native of Jackson County and a retired employee of Copelands Hardware Store.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Arnold; five sons, Joe Leon Arnold of Northport, Vernon Clayton Arnold of Huntsville and Charles William Arnold, Sells Arnold and Bishop Arnold, all of Scottsboro; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was to be today from 2 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Irene B. Blankenship
UNION GROVE - Irene Bomar Blankenship, 63, of 236 Bean Drive died Sunday at her home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at New Center Baptist Church with the Revs. Glenn Smallwood and Herbert Smith officiating.
Burial will be in New Center Cemetery near Hartselle.
Mrs. Blankenship was owner and operator of a restaurant at Morgan City.
Survivors include her husband, L.C. Blankenship; her father, Walter Bomar of Hartselle; one daughter, Carolyn Riddle of Huntsville; one son, Larry Riddle of Union Grove; two brothers, Melvin Bomar of Somerville and Milton Omar of Hartselle; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pauline H. Burch
Pauline H. Burch, 81, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Burch of Huntsville; one daughter, Sharon Thompson of Langston; one sister, Merline Lewis of Dothan; and two grandchildren and four great-grandchild.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mavareene R. Davis
BOAZ - Mavareene Roberts Davis, 83, of 116 Mount Vernon Homes died Saturday at her home. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery in Boaz.
Survivors include four sisters, Cora Lee Harris and Janie Ashley, both of Boaz, Ruth Howard of Delaware and Ann Hoffman of Huntsville; and two brothers, Noah Roberts and Billy Roberts, both of Boaz.

Patricia A. Davis
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Patricia Ann Davis, 31, of Park City Heights died Saturday at her home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Gallant Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville with Bro. Cleo Moon officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis was a native of Madison County, a member of Patterson Road Baptist Church and a custodian at T.C.s Cleaning Service.
Survivors include her parents, Wade and Carolyn Mires of Elora, Tenn.; her mother, Joan Williams Davis of Arab; five brothers, Michael Davis, Kevin Mires and Jason Mires, all of Fayetteville, and Charles Davis and Jimmy Davis, both of Huntsville; one sister, Brenda McCarver of Cowan, Tenn.; and her grandmothers, Vernie Williams of Huntsville, Louise Seals of New Market and Valeria Mires of Hazel Green .
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

James F. Hambrick
DECATUR - James F. Hambrick, 78, died Sunday in Decatur. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Dr. Mark Tolbert and the Rev. David McKelvey officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Hambrick was a native of Hazel Green, a member of Central Baptist Church and was retired from Williams Auto Parts.
Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Dean Hambrick; one daughter, Suzann Bishop of Huntsville; two sons, Mike Hambrick of Florence and John Hambrick of Atlanta; one sister, Myrl Hambrick of Decatur; and seven grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Central Baptist Church Building Fund or to the American Diabetes Association, 200 Office Park, suite 303, Birmingham, 35223.

Oma S. Jackson
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Oma Smith Jackson, 88, of 403 8th Ave. died Sunday at a Fayetteville hospital. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Arrick officiating.
Burial was in Gatlin Cemetery.
Mrs. Jackson was a native of Limestone County, a homemaker and a member of Fayetteville First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Smith, and one son, Harold Smith.
Survivors include one son, Bill Smith of Fayetteville; one sister, Ruby Farrar of Fayetteville; one brother, Charles Woodfin of Elkmont; and six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Charles E. Pass
GUNTERSVILLE - Charles Edward Pass, 76, of 1813 Wyeth Drive died Monday at his home. A graveside service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Guntersville City Cemetery with Carr Funeral Home of Guntersville in charge.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol Morris of Scottsboro; one son, Mark Pass of Georgia; one sister, Eloise Adams of Gadsden; and four grandchildren.

Leland Roebuck
The Rev. Leland Roebuck, 86, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local nursing home. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Ron Pelton officiating.
Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery.
The Rev. Mr. Roebuck was a graduate of Gods Bible College in Cincinnati, and retired after 65 years as an ordained minister and evangelist in the Church of the Nazarene. He served as chaplain for the Tennessee State Police, John Graves Memorial Hospital and the Georgetown, Ky., Police Department.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Roebuck; two daughters, Caryl Jones of Huntsville and Judy McMillen of Atlantic City, N.J.; four grandchildren, Steven Jones of Birmingham, Jeffrey Jones of Dallas and Mark McMillen and Leilani McMillen, both of Atlantic City; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Family Care, 2225 Drake Ave., Huntsville, 35805.

Edith M. Smith
HENAGAR - Mrs. Edith Morris Smith, 68, died Monday at her home. The funeral will be Wednesday at noon at Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar with the Rev. Jeff Watkins officiating.
Burial will be in Henagar Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, George Harold Smith.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna Smith Herpin of Henagar; two sons, James Alan Smith of Monroe, S.C., and Maurice Wayne Smith of Henagar; her mother, Edna Emma Morris of Henagar; and three grandchildren.
Visitation was to be today from 2 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Kevin D. Smith
FLORENCE - Kevin Dale Smith, 22, died Sunday in Fayette. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Eddy Garner officiating. A memorial service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the University of North Alabama Baptist Student Center in Florence.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
Mr. Smith was a senior at the University of North Alabama. He was active in the Baptist Campus Ministries and was serving as the intramural sports director.
Survivors include his father, Perry Smith of Huntsville; his mother, Janice Smith of Huntsville; one brother, Keith Smith of Florence; one sister, Kimberly Smith of Mooresville, N.C.; and his grandmothers, Verdye McCullers of Hahira, Ga., and Mamie Smith of Adel, Ga.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the University of North Alabama Baptist Campus Ministries Missions in care of Eddy Garner, P.O. Box 5281, Florence, 35632.

William E. Starling
SOMERVILLE - William Edward Starling, 76, died Saturday at a local hospital. No funeral is planned.
Burial will be in a cemetery in Kalamazoo, Mich., with Spry Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements.
Mr. Starling was a native of Virginia and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include one daughter, Patti Christman of Somerville; one son, Gan Starling of Kalamazoo; and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Annie L. Stephens
TRENTON - Annie Little Stephens, 89, died Sunday at a Winchester hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Hicks officiating.
Burial was to be in Paint Rock Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Clara Inez of Trenton; one son, Joe E.. Stephens of Trenton; two brothers, Jim Little of Garth and Horace Little of Paint Rock; and nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Hazel Terry
DECATUR - Mrs. Hazel Terry, 64, died Monday at a local hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Shelton Funeral home.

Mamie Wales
HARVEST - Mrs. Mamie Louise Worthey Wales, 75, of 29828 Orville Smith Road died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Everett Conn officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Athens.
Mrs. Wales was a native of Limestone County, attended Capshaw Church of Christ and was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Worthey.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Wales; two daughters, Royce Ann Richardson of Toney and Fay Conn of Harvest; one sister, Martina Balch of Harvest; one son, Ray Wales of Harvest; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to East Limestone Fire Department or East Limestone Rescue Squad.

Gail L. Whitt
ARDMORE, Ala. - Gail L. Whitt, 65, of Shannon Road died Sunday at her home. The funeral was today at noon at Taylor-Ardmore Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Al Long officiating.
Burial was in Gatlin Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Freeman Whitt of Ardmore; one son, Johnny F. Horst of Birmingham; two stepsons, Jason Whitt of Miami and Devin Whitt of Ardmore; one daughter, Karla Horst-Lett of Birmingham; her mother, Imogene Laborde of Birmingham; two sisters, Peggy Glass of Birmingham and Shelia Liechardt of Nashville; and three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Clayton T. Yarbrough
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Clayton Thomas Yarbrough, 57, of 3022 Huntsville Highway died Sunday at a Fayetteville hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home chapel.
Mr. Yarbrough owned and operated Hilltop Auto Sales.
Survivors include one son, Donald Yarbrough of Addison, Ill.; two daughters, Denise Damianakes of Naples, Fla., and Debby Mehrer of Hazel Green ; and four grandchildren.
