Ellen L. A. Acuff
ATHENS - Ellen A. Acuff of 312 Crestview St. died Monday at an Athens hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with the Revs. Jimmy Clark and Bill Irby officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Acuff was a member of the Hobbs Street Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband James Acuff, Sr.
Survivors include one daughter, Judy Hill of Athens; one son, James Acuff Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, Charles Anerton Jr. of Arab; one sister, Betty Aldridge of New Market; and seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Aline L. Adams
ATHENS - Aline Lewis Adams, 90, of 611 Market St. died Monday at an Athens hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Bernard Dawes officiating.
Burial will be in Legg Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Eugene Adams, and a son, James Alton Adams.
Survivors include one son, Lewis Adams of Athens; one sister, Louise Peppers of Limestone County; and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Michael Bolch
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Michael Bolch, 46, of McDougal Road died Monday at a Fayetteville hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Gallant Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Wilburn Carter officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Bolch was a native of Tampa, Fla. He was a carpenter and a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his parents, Monroe and Sadie Bolch of Fayetteville; one daughter, Sarah Humphrey of Lewisburg; three brothers, Matt Bolch of Atlanta, Randy Bolch of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Scott Bolch of Owensboro, Ky.; three stepbrothers, Ray Bunn, Steve Bunn and Mark Jett, all of Fayetteville; one sister, Suzanne Simmons of Brandon, Fla.; and two stepsisters, Dorothy Honea and Debbie Golden, both of Fayetteville.
Visitation is today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Charles R. Burgess
ASBURY - Charles Ray "Chuck" Burgess, 54, died Monday at his home. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery.
Mr. Burgess was owner of Burgess Upholstery and a member of Martling Holiness Church. He was a World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Ashley Burgess of Asbury; one daughter, Deloris J. Burgess of Asbury; two sons, Steven R. Burgess of Albertville and Lonnie L. Burgess of Toney; three sisters, Flora Reed of Attalla and Bonnie Allen and Francis McClendon, both of Albertville; five brothers, Bob Burgess of Seattle, Wash., and James Burgess, Walter Burgess, Leonard "Bug" Burgess and Boise Burgess, all of Albertville; and five grandchildren.

Ida M. Caudle
MADISON - Ida Malone Caudle, 72, of 340 Gillespie Road, Apt. 137, died Saturday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Mount Zion C.P. Church in America with the Rev. Bobby Battle officiating.
Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include three daughters, Cynthia Allen of Madison and Ida Mae Malone and Doris Sullivan, both of Huntsville; one stepdaughter, Bessie Minor of Madison; five sons, Anthony Malone of Tanner and Charlie Williams, Charles Banks, Moses Hobbs Jr. and Bobby Malone, all of Huntsville; one stepson, James Scruggs of Triana; one sister, Annie Pearl Warner of Madison; one brother, Henry Malone of Belle Mina; and 32 grandchildren.

James M. Corbin
James Melvin Corbin, 86, of Huntsville died Tuesday at his home. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Billy W. Loveday officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Corbin was a native of Lincoln County, Tenn. He was a retired truck driver who had lived in Huntsville since 1919.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alta Mae Corbin, and two sons, Bobby and Ronnie Corbin.
Survivors include two sons, James A. Corbin and Lannie Joe Corbin, both of Huntsville; two daughters, Geraldine Harris of New Market and Vera Faye Evans of Huntsville; and 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is today from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Rosalie W. Culps
ATHENS - Rosalie Wallace Culps, 90, of 1532 West Hobbs St. died Monday at an Athens hospital. The funeral will Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. M.E. Hodges officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Survivors include four sisters, Vera Larkins of Arkansas, and Una Andrews, Rilla Morell and Oweita Morell, all of Huntsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Anna Garasemenko
Anna Garasemenko, 86, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. A private service will be in Orlando, Fla. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will be in charge of local arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Joan Mendes of Huntsville; one son, Theodore Garase of Pittsburgh, Pa.; one brother, John Lajkov of Orange City, Fla.; one sister, Nancy Popovitch of Fla.; and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimers Associations, North Alabama Chapter, Century Office Center Suite 16, 3322 S. Memorial Parkway, Huntsville 35801.

Billy F. Hitchcock
SYLVANIA - Billy F. Hitchcock, 63, of Sylvania, died Monday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 12:30 p.m. at the Rainsville Funeral Home with the Revs. Terry Turner and Roger White officiating.
Burial was to be in Trinity Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Hitchcock; one son, Rodney Hitchcock of Sylvania; and three grandchildren.

Albert Hutcherson
PISGAH - Albert Hutcherson, 81, of Pisgah, died Tuesday at his home. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Rainsville Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Kirkpatrick officiating.
Burial will be in Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Hutcherson was preceded in death by two sons, Freddy J. Hutcherson and Albert Lee Hutcherson, and one granddaughter, Shelia Lightsey.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Hutcherson; two daughters, Bonnie Faye Lightsey of Boaz and Shirley Lewis of Rainsville; one son, Rev. James W. Hutcherson of Pisgah; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

William E. Manning
SCOTTSBORO - William E. Manning, 79, of Scottsboro, died Tuesday at a local hospital. There will be no funeral service or visitation.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Nadine Manning; one daughter, Earline Clark of Sun City, Ariz.; two sons, James Larry Manning of Scottsboro and Steve Manning of Huntsville; and four sisters, Betty Wilson of Chattanooga and Arvin France, Lizzie Jett and Winnie Miller, all of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn.

James C. Martin
James C. Martin, 78, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 2:30 at Laughlin Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. J.B. Pendergraft officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include wife, Ometie Hughes Martin; two daughters, Amber Estelle Clay of Oultewah, Tenn., and Laura Ann Bradford of Somerville; four sisters; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Victor Spry
Victor Spry, 61, of Huntsville died Monday at his home. A memorial sevice will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Twickenham Funeral Home with Dr. Raymond Summar officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Sherri Spry of Huntsville; two daughters, Nancy Spry Greer and Stacie Spry, both of Huntsville; one sister, Betty Huskins of North Carolina; and two grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Family Care.

Irene T. Thompson
Irene Tasker Thompson, 92, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Twickenham Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Walter Nunn officiating.
Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa.
Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford F. Thompson.
Survivors include one son, Jeffrey Thompson, and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Excell Traylor
PEEKS CORNER - Excell Traylor, 76, died Monday at a Fort Payne hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at the Rainsville Funeral Home with the Revs. Jim Griffin, Steve Traylor and Bobby Pendergrass officiating.
Burial was to be in Lusk Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Traylor was a deacon at the Flat Rock Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by one son, Mark Traylor.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Green Traylor; three sisters, Avo Minnix of Centre, Hattie Lee Downer of Peeks Corner and Bertha Mae Chitwood of Fort Payne; and two brothers, Drennon Traylor of Peeks Corner and Gene Traylor of Fort Payne.

Robert Trimew
HOLLYWOOD - Robert Trimew, 66, died Sunday at a Scottsboro hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Hollywood with the Rev. William R. Tibbs officiating.
Burial will be in Old Baptist Cemetery with Rudder Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Trimew, a native of Jackson County, was a retired employee of Revere Copper and Brass Company and a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Trimew; four daughters, Genise Evans, Angela Trimew, Carol Trimew and Rene Henry, all of Hollywood; and 10 grandchildren.

Lue Washington
MADISON - Lue Washington, 79, died Friday at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Mount Zion P.B. Church with the Rev. Mylon Burwell officiating.
Burial will be in Royal Cemetery with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one daughter, Leona Gideon of Madison; one stepdaughter, Emma Washington of Madison; two stepsons, George Washington of Huntsville and Booker T. Washington of Athens; one brother, Mabon Jefferson of Gurley; and seven grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.
The body will be at the church an hour before the funeral.

James C. Whitten
DECATUR - Rev. James Coleman Whitten, 89, died Monday at a Decatur hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Center Springs United Methodist Church with the Revs. Bobby Ray Halbrooks, Donnie Jarrett and James G. Short officiating.
Burial will be in Center Springs Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home in charge.
Rev. Whitten was born in Morgan County and was minister for North Alabama Methodist Conference.
Survivors include his wife, Mary J. Whitten of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Gladys Sharp of Somerville and Opal I. Stephenson of Sebring, Fla.; and one grandchild.
Visitation is today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
The body will be at the church an hour before the funeral.
Memorial donations may be made to Center Springs United Methodist Church.
