Lola A. Bailey
RAINSVILLE - Lola Ayers Bailey, 90, died Thursday. The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Rainsville Funeral Home with the Rev. Kevin McCreless officiating.
Burial will be in Mountain View Memory Gardens in Rainsville.
Survivors include one son, Jim Bailey of Rainsville; one sister, Faye Downs of Fort Payne; and four granddaughters and six great-grandchildren.

Cornelia B. Butts
Ernest G. Butts
Cornelia B. Butts, 88, of Trussville died March 21 and her husband, Ernest G. Butts, 85, died Jan. 22 at Bessemer Carraway Hospital. Their memorial service and funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Stephens Episcopal Church followed by a reception in the Parish Hall.
Mr. and Mrs. Butts donated their bodies to the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medcial School for medical studies.
Mrs. Butts body was cremated and her ashes will be interred at St. Stephens Church during the memorial service, where she and her husband have attended since it was founded in 1963, as well as St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Butts was born in Memphis and was a graduate of Alverson-Draughn School in Nashville. She worked for the duPont Co. and TVA as an executive secretary. She was active in the church, being a member and past presdient of the Altar Guild and one of the founding members of the Healing Team. She was also an avid gardener.
Mr. Butts was a graduate of Cumberland College in Williamsburg, Ky., his hometown, and the University of Tennessee, receiving a degree in accounting. He was retired from the General Electric Co. with 25 years of service as a contract administrator in the Real Estate and Construction and Apollo Support Divisions. He held positions within GE in Richland, Wash., Schenectady, N.Y. and Huntsville.
Survivors include one daughter, Della Franklin, one son-in-law, Allen Franklin of Trussville; one son, Ernest B. Butts of Houston, Texas; one granddaughter, Alyssa Butts of Lampassas, Texas; two cousins, Ralph M. Denham of Fort Myers, Fla., Glenn W. Denham of Middlesboro, Ky.; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Virginia Sproule of Calera; and a sister, Jeannette Thomas of Powell, Tenn.
Memorials may be made St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 8020 Whitesburg Dr., Huntsville, Ala. 35802, or The American Diabetes Association, Gift of Remembrance Headquarters, 1101 North Lake Destiny Road No. 415, Maitland, Fla., 32751-7105.

Henry G. Hadley
JOPPA - Henry Glenn Hadley, 46, of 60 County Road 1757 died Wednesday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at New Home Baptist Church.
Burial was to be in the adjoining cemetery with Gober Funeral Home of Arab in charge.
Survivors include one daughter, Tracy Hadley of Decatur; one son, Jeremy Hadley of Joppa; mother, Monnie Hadley of Joppa; one sister, Renae Hyatt of Arab; and one brother, Ronnie Hadley of Joppa.

Jordan M. Jeans
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Jordan McKade Jeans, infant son of Michael and Sonya Mann Jeans of 91 West Point Drive, died Wednesday at a Nashville hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Kimery officiating.
Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.
Other survivors include one brother, Landon Kale Jeans of Fayetteville; grandparents, Jerry and Shirley Mann of Flintville and Raymond Wayne and Shirley Jeans of Fayetteville; and great-grandparents, Robert and Essie Mann of Flintville and Thomas and Eleanor Smith of Fayetteville.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Virgie M. Johnson
ATHENS - Virgie Martin Johnson, 74, of South Hines Street died Thursday in Huntsville. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home in Athens with Bernard Dawes officiating.
Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Northside Church of Christ and was a retired waitress.
Survivors include one daughter, Margie Faye Sharp of Huntsville; one son, Roger Jackson of Athens; one sister, Margie McGraw of Elkmont; two brothers, John W. ''Buddy Martin of Poplar Bluff, Miss., and Thomas Vinson of New Orleans; and seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Rita B. Kinney
Mrs. Rita B. Kinney, 75, of Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be announced by Laughlin Service Funeral Home.
Survivors include four daughters, Beth Wright, Terry Samples and Majorie Kinney, all of Huntsville, and Dianne Skaar of Olympia, Wash.; three sons, Forrest L. Kinney, Jimmy Kinney, both of Huntsville, and Tim Kinney of Tuscon, Ariz.; two brothers, Eddie Berisford and Al Berisford both of Huntsville; 10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be Sunday at Laughlin Service from 6 to 8 p.m. with a vigil service at 7 p.m.

Melvin A. Knieriem
BRIDGEPORT - Melvin Alvin Knieriem, 83, died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson with the Rev. Tony Turner officiating.
Burial will be in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood.
Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Burton of Bridgeport; one grandson, Rickey Wayne Brown of Bridgeport; and two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was to be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Charlotte Maltby
LINDEN, Va. - Charlotte E. Hallock Maltby, 78, died March 20 at a Front Royal, Va., hospital. A memorial service was March 22 at Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal with Bobby Walker Graves officiating.
Mrs. Maltby was a native of Glade Springs, Va., and was a retired contract administrator for Melpar Corp.
Survivors include her husband, William T. Maltby III of Linden; two daughters, Sage Elizabeth Graves and Billie Adeledia Ballew, both of Huntsville; one son, William Daniel Hallock II of Virginia Beach, Va.; two sisters, Juanita Edmondson Lewis of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Adelaide Edmondson Rush of Virginia Beach; and seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two nieces and five nephews.

Eria M. McAnally
MADISON - Eria May McAnally, 78, died Wednesday at her home. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. David Jones, the Rev. Bobby Culver and the Rev. Charles Underwood officiating.
Burial will be in Walker Cemetery.
Mrs. McAnally was a native of Madison County and a member of Pleasant Oak Holiness Church. She retired after 22 years with Huntsville Manufacturing Co. and was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey "Mac" McAnally Sr.
Survivors include one daughter, Delores Hill of Madison; one son, Dewey W. McAnally of Madison; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funerel home.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Family Care in Huntsville.

Blondell W. Nelson
Blondell Wiggins Nelson, 43, of 110 East Seminole Drive in Huntsville died Tuesday at her home. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Union Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. McKinley Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Blutchers-Ford Cemetery with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one daughter, Gwanda L. Wiggins of Huntsville; her parents, Irene W. Toney and Johnnie L. Pickett, both of Huntsville; grandmother, Carrie Pickett of Huntsville; six sisters, Teresa Wiggins, Marilyn Easley, Doris Daniel, Joanna Pickett, Carol Pickett and Carrie Fugua, all of Huntsville; four brothers, Mitchell Jones, Larry Jones, Michael Pickett and Maurice Pickett, all of Huntsville; and two grandchildren.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

Robert L. Rushing
MADISON - Robert Lawson Rushing, 86, died Thursday at a local hospital. The graveside service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Huntsville Memory Gardens with the Rev. Bobby Halbrooks officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mr. Rushing was a World War II veteran, a NASA test engineer and a member of Madison United Methodist Church, the Eagles Club and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include one son, Ronnie Rushing of Madison; one daughter, Wanda R. Smith of Decatur; one sister, Flossie Williams of Jackson, Tenn.; and three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Warren Scarbrough Sr.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. - Warren W. Scarbrough Sr., 75, died Tuesday at Potomac Hospital. The graveside service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Bro. Charles Woodard officiating.
Spry Funeral Home will be in charge.
Mr. Scarbrough was native of Clanton and formerly of Huntsville. He was retired from the Redstone Arsenal Fire Department with 30 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II.
Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Scarbrough of Fairfax, Va.; one son, Warren W. Scarbrough Jr. of Richmond, Va.; one sister, Betty Jo Stephens of Huntsville; and three grandchildren.
There will be private visitation.

Cody W. Smith
ALBERTVILLE - Cody Wilburn Smith, 76, of 1101 Head St., died Wednesday in Joppa. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was to be in Rice Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie Mae Smith; one son, Wilburn Junior Smith of Georgia; one sister, Gracey Coody of Painter; and eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Leslie R. St. Clair
NEW MARKET - Leslie R. St. Clair, 81, died Thursday at his home. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Donnie Stone officiating.
Burial will be in St. Clairs Cemetery in New Market.
Mr. St. Clair was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and an Auburn graduate with a degree in agriculture. He retired from FHA after working there 17 years.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret St. Clair of New Market; two stepdaughters, Jackie Kay of Cherokee and Mary Bullington of Russellville; one sister, Mildred Anderson of Russellville; and five step-grandchildren, one step-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lawrence R. Wolf
SCOTTSBORO - Lawrence R. "Larry" Wolf, 63, of Scottsboro died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be announced by Laughlin Service Funeral Home.
Mr. Wolf was retired from Teledyne Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Sue Wolf of Scottsboro; one son, Wayne Wolf of Huntsville; five brothers, Kenny Wolf, Jack Wolf and Jim Wolf, all of Ellis, Kan., Dennis Wolf of Salina, Kan., and Steve Wolf of Great Bend, Kan., and one sister, Margaret Moore of Ellis, Kan.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Nellie O. Womack
SCOTTSBORO - Nellie Ozlean Womack, 65, died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with the Revs. Erby Shankles and R.L. Tyler officiating.
Burial will be in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood.
Mrs. Womack was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Anthony Womack.
Survivors include her husband, Claude J. Womack Jr.; four daughters, Linda Roberts of Scottsboro, Sandy Smith of Jefferson City, Mo., Debbie Cook of Decatur, Ala., and Sharon Chamberlain of Huntsville; one son, Billy Womack Sr. of Scottsboro; two sisters, Peggy Phillips and Zelda Johnson, both of Huntsville; one brother, Wayne Treece of Scottsboro; and 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was to be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
