Lee R. Billings
GUNTERSVILLE - Lee Roderick Billings, 76, of 1145 Foster Landing Road, died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Guntersville.
Burial will be in Marshall Memory Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Billings; two daughters, Lori Clark of Illinois and Judy Hatchett of Tennessee; two sons, Gary Billings of California and Rodney Billings of Texas; one sister, Peggy Rowen of Colorado; one brother, Don Billings of Colorado; and 15 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.

Charley Davis
SCOTTSBORO - Charley Davis, 77, died Thursday at his home. The funeral will be Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Church Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Speers officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro with Rudder Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Davis was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the St. Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church. He was retired from Wagner Electric Co.
Survivors include his wife, Clemmie Davis; one daughter, Rhonda Miller of California; one son, Charles Davis of California; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Francis W. Dill
PLANO, Texas - Francis W. "Frank" Dill, 80, died April 30. A memorial service will be held at noon at the Bicentennial Chapel, Redstone Arsenal, with the Rev. Coy Hallmark officiating.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of burial arrangements.
Mr. Dill was a native of Pennsylvania but had lived in Huntsville for many years. He was a retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army and had worked Marshall Space Flight Center as a special assistant to the director of administration. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Dottie Dill; one son, Frank "Butch Dill of Hazel Green ; one daughter, Bonnie Caldwell of Dallas; one brother, Jack Dill of Georgia; one sister, Ilene Diesel of Florida; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m. at the Twickenham Room at Redstone Arsenal.
Donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 250 Governors Drive, Huntsville, Ala. 35801.

James P. Drake
James Philip Drake, 87, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Laughlin Service chapel with the Rev. Evelyn Brodeur officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Drake was retired from Martin Industries. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include one brother, Hugh Hayden Drake of Sebring, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Axel O. Esser
Axel O. Esser, 57, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local hospital. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mr. Esser was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Moose Lodge. He worked at Teledyne Brown Engineering for 17 years.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Elaine Esser of Huntsville, and two daughters, Beth Esser Alaovi of Boston and Carole Eyler of Huntsville.
Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

Reiko Ford
COLLINSVILLE - Reiko Ford, 64, of 5888 County Road 221, died Friday at her residence. The funeral will be today at 1 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Guntersville.
Burial will be in Crestview Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Kenny Ford of Collinsville.

Carl D. Green e
ATHENS - Carl Dwight Green e, 48, of 16931 Glaze Road died Friday in Sevierville, Tenn. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Rickey Craft officiating.
Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
Mr. Green e was employed by Dunlop Tire and Rubber Co.
Survivors include two sons, Jonathan Dwight Green e of Johnson City, Tenn., and Jimmy Lance Green e of Huntsville; his parents, Johnny and Pauline Green e of Lester; and one sister, Jackie Thompson of Lester.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

Alfred E. Hosch
Alfred Earl Hosch, 77, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local hospital. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Georgie Frances Hosch; two sons, Kenny Dale Hosch of Huntsville and Carey Earl Hosch of Harvest; and two granddaughters.

Annie I. Jackson
Annie Irene Jackson, 76, of Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be today at 1:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. J.B. Pendergraft officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Jackson was a native of Madison County.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Jackson and Louis Anthony Jackson, both of Huntsville; one brother, James E. Gaines of Guntersville; one half-brother, Edward R. Gaines of Huntsville; and one half-sister, Ressie Jorene Jones of Huntsville.

Edna M. Johnson
TONEY - Edna Mae Johnson, 54, died Thursday at a local hospital. The graveside service will be today at 2 p.m. at Cochran Cemetery with the Rev. Alfred Dunson officiating.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of burial arrangements.
Mrs. Johnson was a native of Montgomery County.
Survivors include her husband, Toby Johnson; four sons, Roy Andrew Whittner of Calera, Christopher T. Atchison of East Limestone and William Thomas Atchison and Anthony N. "Tony Atchison, both of Toney; two stepsons, Thomas W. Johnson of Laceys Spring and Toby W. Johnson Jr. of Florida; two stepdaughters, Tina Johnson and Terri Johnson, both of California; and nine grandchildren.

Charles E. Lewis
Charles E. Lewis, 86, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Nelms Funeral Home in Calera with the Rev. R.L. White officiating.
Burial will be in First Baptist Cemetery in Calera.
Mr. Lewis retired in 1975 after 37 years with the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include one sister, Ethel Smoot of Huntsville; and one nephew, Charles T. Smoot of Huntsville.
Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ruby I. McKay
ATHENS - Ruby Irene McKay, 94, died Friday. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Laughlin Service chapel with Bro. Tom Russell officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one sister, Tommie Carpenter of Huntsville; and one nephew, three grandnephews and three grandnieces.
Visitation will be Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to your favorite charity.

James Mashburn Sr.
BOAZ - James D. "J.D." Mashburn Sr., 67, of 1002 Snowden Circle, died Friday at a Gadsden hospital. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Beulah Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Carr Funeral Home of Boaz directing.
Mr. Mashburn retired from Goodyear after 42 years.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Mashburn; two daughters, Gloria M. Cain of Albertville and Kimberly Willis of Southside; one son, James D. Mashburn Jr. of Boaz; one sister, Helen Whitt of Boaz; one brother, Eugene Mashburn of Boaz; and five grandchildren.

Mary Mills
Mary Elizabeth Vinson Mills, 75, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local hospital. A graveside service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Dr. William H. Bostick Jr. officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of burial arrangements.
Mrs. Mills was a lifelong resident of Huntsville. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, a member of Junior Grace, Junior League and Grace Club.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Mills, and one daughter, Mary Louisa Mills of The Villages, Fla.

Thomas W. Neely
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Thomas W. Neely, 93, died Saturday at his home. The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Carroll Hickman officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Survivors include one brother, Clay Neely of Hazel Green, and several nieces.

James O. Randolph
ATHENS - James Odis Randolph, 79, of 26569 Maples Road in Lester died Friday at a Athens hospital. The graveside service will be today at 2 p.m. at Hesters Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating.
McConnell Funeral Home is in charge of burial arrangements.
Mr. Randolph was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of Salem Methodist Church.

Barbara G. Walker
Barbara Gail Walker, 46, of Huntsville died Saturday at her home. A graveside service will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Lance Faylor officiating.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of burial arrangements.
Mrs. Walker was a native of Madison County and member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her husband, James A. Walker; five daughters, Candie Roxanne Taylor of Madison and Alicia Walker, Crystal Walker, Angel Walker and Megan Walker, all of Huntsville; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Pelham of Horton; four brothers, Tony Pelham of Guntersville, Richard Pelham of Blountsville, Rodney Pelham of Oneonta and Michael Pelham of Horton; two sisters, Sandra Potts of Madison and Sharon Battles of Albertville.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Charles Wallace
Charles "Charlie" Joseph Alexander Wallace, 11, of Huntsville died Thursday at a Nashville hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Hillwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Freeman officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
He attended Weatherly Elementary School.
Survivors include his mother, Dawn Wallace, and his stepfather, Gary Clemons, of Huntsville; his father, Timothy Burse of Miami, Fla.; three sisters, Ellexus Wallace of Huntsville, Tamesha Burse of Atlanta and Tabitha Burse of Miami; one brother, Terry Burse of Miami; his grandmothers, Jacquline Rogers of Huntsville, Ethel Lue Wallace of Miami and Betty Wallace of Trenton, N.J.; and his great-grandmother, Pecola Rogers of East Orange, N.J.
Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
