Mamie Andrews
DAWSON - Mamie Andrews, 84, died Friday at her home. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Rainsville Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Pendergrass, the Rev. Roger White and the Rev. Chris Andrews officiating.
Burial will be in Lusk Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Jerry Andrews of Dawson; two sisters, Wilma Wright of Fyffe and Bessie Steed of Montgomery; two brothers, Henry Andrews of Dawson and Lee Andrews of Geraldine; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Joan L. Benson
Joan Louise Benson, 47, of Huntsville died Friday in Clanton. The funeral will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with Minister Richard Harp officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Benson was a native of Petersburg, Va., and had lived in Madison County 35 years. She had worked 26 years for State Farm Insurance Co. and was a former officer of the American Businesswomens Association. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Lee Jenkins Benson III of Huntsville; one daughter, Kristy Burgreen of Madison; one son, Ben Benson of Madison; two sisters, Jeanette Poteet of Huntsville and Yvonne Welch of Atlanta; one brother, Ricky Howe of Nashville; her mother, Margot Howe of Huntsville; and one grandson, Blake Burgreen of Madison.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Walter L. Brazelton
ARAB - Walter Lee Brazelton, 64, died Friday at a Houston, Texas, hospital. Spry Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mr. Brazelton was a native of Madison County, retired from Woody Anderson Ford and was an Army veteran.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Era M. Edwards
NEW MARKET - Era M. Edwards, 78, of Church Street died Saturday at her home. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Gallant Funeral Home chapel in Hazel Green with the Rev. Faye Harwell and the Rev. Judy Seals officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Garner Cemetery in Decherd, Tenn.
Mrs. Edwards was a native of Madison County and a member of Rice Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Doris Hines and Margaret Edwards, both of New Market; four sons, Larry Wayne Edwards and Lonnie Edwards, both of New Market, Ronnie Edwards of Winchester, Tenn., and Dean Edwards of Cooter, Mo.; four sisters, Vera Lamb of New Market, Linda Brewer of Gurley, Fannie Mae Fanning of Huntsville and Louise Cooper of Athens; two brothers, Roy Lee Lamb of New Market and Jerry Lamb of Gurley; and 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

John Fullerton
PETERSBURG, Tenn. - John Fullerton, 73, of 203 High St. died Saturday at a Fayetteville hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Petersburg Church of Christ with Bros. Curtis Ivey and Don Hudson officiating.
Burial will be in Old Orchard Cemetery in Petersburg with McCauley Funeral Home of Petersburg in charge.
Mr. Fullerton was a native of Lincoln County, a self-employed truck driver and a member of Petersburg Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Fullerton of Petersburg; one daughter, Shirley Thompson of Petersburg; one son, Wendell Fullerton of Petersburg; one sister, Judy Bean of Petersburg; four brothers, William E. "Bill" Fullerton and Larry Fullerton, both of Petersburg, Bob Fullerton of Shelbyville, Tenn., and Charles Fullerton of Lewisburg, Tenn.; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Christopher M. Gent
Christopher M. Gent, 14, of Huntsville died Friday at his home. The memorial service will be Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Albert Fisher officiating.
Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Gent was a native of Madison County, a Davis Hills Middle School graduate and had prepared to attend Johnson High School this year.
Survivors include his mother, Lucy Gent of Huntsville; and several other relatives.

Burmah Lee
Burmah Irene Rowe Lee, 75, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a local hospital. The graveside service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Dr. Ralph Langley officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs. Lee was chief of telephone operations at Redstone Arsenal until she retired in 1980. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles V. Lee of Huntsville; one son, Charles V. Lee Jr. of Birmingham; and two granddaughters, Christina S. Lee and Meredith A. Lee, both of Birmingham.
Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Emma L. Mastin
LORAIN, Ohio - Emma Lou Mastin, 84, died July 25 in Lorain. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at St. James Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Ross L. Payton officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Mastin was formerly of Huntsville.
Survivors include one daughter, Cora Battle of Huntsville; three sisters, Catherine Edwards of Lorain and Hattie Smith and Lena Ford, both of Huntsville; one brother, Donnell Eason of Huntsville; and three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Doris L. Morris
TONEY - Doris Louise Morris, 67, of Morris Road died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be today at 2:30 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. William Suddarth and the Rev. Leslie Sharp officiating.
Burial will be in Charity Cemetery with Gallant Funeral Home of Hazel Green in charge.
Mrs. Morris was a native of Madison County, a former assembly-line worker for the Mallory Co. and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, John M. Morris of Toney; one sister, Faye C. Gwin of Toney; one brother, Ernest Louie Carter of Huntsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Her body will be at church one hour before the funeral.

Charlie H. Peacock
HYTOP - Charlie H. Peacock, 87, died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be today at 4 p.m. Skyline Funeral Home in Skyline with the Rev. Floyd Williams officiating.
Burial will be Hytop Cemetery.
Mr. Peacock was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Parker Peacock; and two sons, Clifford Peacock and Aubrey Lee Peacock.
Survivors include Helen Wade and Dorothy Rollins, both of Hytop, and Joyce Campbell of Pleasant Groves; three sons, Ray Peacock of Skyline, Jim Peacock of Homewood, Ill., and Clint Peacock of South Holland, Ill.; and 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.

Paul Stone
OWENS CROSS ROADS - The Rev. Paul Stone, 80, died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Edward Atchley, the Rev. Floyd Williams and Robert Howell officiating.
Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery in Big Cove with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
The Rev. Stone was a native of Madison County and had been in the ministry 54 years. He worked at Huntsville Manufacturing Co. 42 years and had been minister at Cave Springs Holiness Church 32 years. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Fortner.
Survivors include his wife, Estell Stone of Owens Cross Roads; eight sons, Billy Ray Stone and Eddie Stone, both of Huntsville, Avery Stone of Price ville and Nelson Stone, Eugene Stone, Carroll Stone, Dwight Stone and Ricky Stone, all of Big Cove; two daughters, Martha Tackett of New Hope and Deveda Cain of Pleasant Grove; and 21 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Richard C. Thayer
Richard C. Thayer, 65, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church with the Rev. Albert Fisher officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Thayer retired from the Army Corps of Engineers and was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Thayer of Huntsville; two sons, Michael Thayer of Los Angeles and Todd Thayer of Dallas; one brother, Ralph Thayer of Santa Maria, Calif.; and one granddaughter.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Catholic High School, 4810 Bradford Drive, Huntsville 35805; or to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 2421 Shady Lane, Huntsville 35810.
