Jack S. Alspaugh
FRIENDSWOOD, Texas - Jack S. Alspaugh, 70, died Aug. 3 at a Texas hospital. The funeral was Thursday at Houston National Cemetery.
Forest Park East Funeral Home of Webster, Texas, was in charge of burial.
Mr. Alspaugh was formerly of Huntsville, Ala. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary E. Alspaugh.
Survivors include his wife, D.M. Alspaugh of Friendswood; three sons, Jack Gary Alspaugh of Dallas, Texas, Kevin Randall Alspaugh of Huntsville and Todd Brian Alspaugh; one brother, Mark Henry Alspaugh of Denver, Colo.; one sister, Gloria Stiles of Florence; and three grandchildren and three stepdaughters.
Memorial donations may be made to the Friendswood United Methodist Church Pipe Organ Fund, 204 West Edgewood, Friendswood, Texas, 77546.

Paul C. Bradley
FLINTVILLE, Tenn. - Paul Collins Bradley, 73, of Shady Grove Road died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Gallant Funeral Home in Fayetteville, Tenn., with the Rev. Clive Bell officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Bradley was a native of Lincoln County, Tenn., a Marine Corps veteran and a member of Flintville Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Debbie Morris of Elora, Tenn.; one son, Ronnie Bradley of Elora; one sister, Nell Currey of Flintville; two brothers, Gilbert Bradley and Bert Bradley, both of Flintville; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Wesley S. Carter
DECATUR - Wesley Shelby Carter of 1208 Brookline Ave. died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Limestone Memorial Gardens with Kasey Harbin officiating.
Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mr. Carter was an Army veteran of the Korean War and retired from 3M Co. in Decatur.
Survivors include his wife, Minnie C. Carter of Decatur; one son, Stephen Carter of Athens; one daughter, Rita Cantrell of Decatur; three brothers, Charlie Carter, Henry Carter and Roy Carter, all of Athens; two sisters, Earline Carwile of Elkmont and Irene Gregory of Tennessee; and seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Louis DeInnocentes
SCOTTSBORO - Dr. Louis W. DeInnocentes, 67, died Friday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 5 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Raispis officiating.
Scottsboro Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Mary E. DeInnocentes; two daughters, Mary Ann DeInnocentes of Logansport, Ind., and Patricia Ann DeInnocentes of Auburn; one son, Louis John DeInnocentes, Ninevah, Ind.; a special friend, Pam Davis of Woodville; and two grandsons.

Steven Fritz
Steven Fritz, 45, of 2025 Sunlake Apartments in Huntsville died Sunday in Guntersville. A memorial service will be Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home.
Carr Funeral Home of Guntersville is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Fritz was employed by NASA in Huntsville.
Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Buker of Florida; and one sister and one brother.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home.

Mary Gray
ALBERTVILLE - Mary Bell Walden Gray, 80, of Cahill Apartments died Sunday at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Boaz.
Burial will be in Broadway Cemetery in Rainsville.
Survivors include two sons, Walter Gray of Missouri and Charles Gray of Albertville; one sister, Reba Brooks of Albertville; two brothers, Paul Walden of Southside and Bob Walden of Gadsden; and six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Donald R. Harris Sr.
HAZEL GREEN - Donald Ray Harris Sr., 67, died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Big Cove Holiness Church with the Rev. Oakley Drake, the Rev. Buford Warren, the Rev. Bobby Culver and the Rev. David Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Harris was a native of Madison County, a Korean War veteran, a member of Park City Holiness Church in Park City, Tenn., and retired form Harris Logging Co.
Survivors include his wife, Viola Harris of Hazel Green ; one son, Donald Ray Harris Jr. of Birmingham; one sister, Marjorie Mefford of Huntsville; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

Joe F. Hopkins
SOMERVILLE - Joe Fred Hopkins, 52, of 1835 Cain Road died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Price ville Funeral Home chapel in Decatur with Roger Houston and John Norman officiating.
Burial will be in Center Springs Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Hopkins of Somerville; one daughter, Sherry Coffey of Rogersville; his mother and stepfather, Lillie Mae and Otto Ball of Athens; two brothers, Freeman Hopkins of Somerville and Robbie Hopkins of Trinity; two sisters, Mavine Maples of Madison and Lynda Ares of Harvest; and three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Jerry Landman
NEW MARKET - Jerry Landman, 68, of Walker Lane died Tuesday at a Tuscaloosa hospital. Gallant Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

Dimple L. Lea
FLAT ROCK - Dimple Lee Heard Lea, 80, died Monday at a nursing home in Trenton, Ga. The funeral was to be today at 1 p.m. at Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar with the Rev. El Heard and the Rev. James McClain officiating.
Burial was to be in Fuller Cemetery in Ider.
Mrs. Lea was a member of the Griffin Holiness Church in Lookout Mountain, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Medford Lea.
Survivors include two daughters, Ester Rievley-Fine of Flat Rock and Elizabeth Guffey of Lookout Mountain; three sons, James W. Lea of Higdon, Ala., Crawford Lea of Jasper, Tenn., and Larry Joe Lea of Flat Rock; one sister, Lorene Bass of Pisgah; one brother, Guy Heard of Baltimore, Md.; and 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Lois Mullins
ELKMONT - Lois Mullins, 62, of 23151 Fain Road died Tuesday at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Blanche Cemetery with Billy ONeal officiating.
Taylor-Ardmore Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Survivors include two brothers, Dalton Lee Mullins of Taft, Tenn., and Louis Mullins of Brooks, Ky.; one sister, Marvalene Heard of Kellys Creek, Tenn.; and one godson and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Nattie Pirtle
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Nattie Pirtle, 89, of 405 Jay St. died Monday at a Fayetteville nursing home. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bros. Leslie Tomlin and Harold Stanfield officiating.
Burial will be in Stateline Cemetery.
Mrs. Pirtle was a native of Lincoln County, Tenn., a former seamstress and a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Dean Scott of Columbia, Tenn., and Polly Watson of Lewisburg, Tenn.; two sons, Cecil Pirtle of Huntsville and Thomas Pirtle of Fayetteville; three sisters, Zana Puckett of Hazel Green, Lola Wilburn of Huntsville and Kattie Hillis of Charleston, Ill.; and 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Robert E. Thompson
MONTEVALLO - The Rev. Robert E. Thompson, 72, died Monday. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham.
Burial was to be in Southern Heritage Cemetery.
The Rev. Thompson was a retired Baptist minister who started eight churches in the Huntsville area.
Survivors include one son, John Robert "Bobby" Thompson of Port Orange, Fla.; two daughters, Claire Thompson Olsovsky of Victoria, Texas, and Rose Lynette Welch of Montevallo; one brother, Walter Leroy Thompson of North Augusta, Ga.; two sisters, Linda Ann Ward and Susan T. Loftin, both of Frisco City; and eight grandchildren.

Ollie C. West
ATHENS - Ollie Cleo West, 90, of Sweetland Road died Tuesday at a local hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Spry Funeral Home of Athens.
