Marvin Aycock
ATHENS - Marvin Aycock, 69, of 600 Third Street died Thursday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Tony Boyles officiating.
Burial was to be in Germantown Cemetery.
Mr. Aycock was a native of Limestone County.
Survivors include his wife, Opal Aycock; three daughters, LaDon Aycock of Nashville, Connie Aycock and Jealyn Swaim, both of Athens; one son, Jerry Wayne Aycock of Athens; and two granddaughters.

Johnny R. Castle
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Johnny Randy Castle, 49, died Wednesday at his home. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home with the Rev. John McCann officiating.
Burial will be in Centennial Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen Castle of Chattanooga; two sons, John Robert Castle of Bridgeport and Randy Scott Castle of Chattanooga; his mother, Edna Gilliam of Grove Oak; five sisters, Addie Dunn of Stevenson, Jane Hancock of Macedonia, Ala., Sarah Mashburn of Grove Oak, Patricia Payne of Bridgeport and Lisa Adkins of Chattanooga; and two brothers, Jackie Castle of Hollywood, Ala., and Leon Ray Castle of Bridgeport.

Pansy Cornelison
SKYLINE - Pansy Cornelison, 88, died Wednesday at her home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Skyline Church of God with the Rev. Jerry Glenn, the Rev. James Heath and the Rev. David Paradise officiating.
Burial was to be in Skyline Cemetery with Skyline Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Cornelison was a charter member of Skyline Church of God.
Survivors include her husband, Elmer Cornelison; four daughters, Evelyn Manning, Glady Shelton, Juanita Sharp and Linda Paradise, all of Skyline; three sisters, Bertha Hall of Larkinsville, Annie Mae Wilbourn of Paint Rock and Earline Pockrus of Woodville; one brother, Ollie Parton of Brownsboro; and seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Mildred R. Deerman
ARAB - Mildred Ruth Deerman, 79, died Wednesday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Arab with Dr. Paul Murphy officiating.
Burial was to be in the Braishers Chapel Cemetery with Gober Funeral Home of Arab in charge.
Survivors include a son, George Dean Deerman of Savannah, Ga.; two daughters, Janice Dyan Garrison of Arab and Susan Berry of Gardendale; three brothers, Ray Smalley, Rex Smalley and Jerrell Smalley, all of Arab; and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Kenneth R. Lawson
SCOTTSBORO - Kenneth Ray Lawson, 55, died Tuesday at a Chattanooga hospital. The funeral was to be today at 3 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home with Howard McCallie officiating.
Burial will be in Long Acre Cemetery.
Survivors include his parents, Hollis and Jean Lawson of Scottsboro; two sisters, Wendy Renee Mount of Scottsboro and Margaret Jean Southeard of Hollywood; and one brother, Donny Lawson of Scottsboro.

Mary Moore
SCOTTSBORO - Mary Moore, 65, died Thursday in Huntsville. Valhalla Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

Lloyd Morgan
ALBERTVILLE - Lloyd Morgan, 71, of 702 South Hambrick St. died Wednesday at his home. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Mount Vernon Baptist Church.
Burial was to be in the adjoining cemetery with Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include two sisters, Virginia Morgan of Albertville and Linda Woodward of Mumford; two brothers, James Morgan and Kermit Morgan, both of Albertville; and several nieces and nephews.

Ralph E. Morrow
FALKVILLE - Ralph Edward Morrow, 76, of 26 McArthur St. died Wednesday in Decatur. A military graveside service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Campbell Cemetery near Kelso, Tenn., with the Rev. Dalton Warden officiating.
Peck Funeral Home of Hartselle is in charge of burial.
Mr. Morrow was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Tennessee, an Army veteran of World War II and of the Korean War, a former engineer for Raytheon Corp. and was preceded in death by one brother, Gene Morrow.
Survivors include four sons, Dale Morrow, Robert Morrow, Gary Morrow and Donald Morrow, all of Missouri; three sisters, Frances Cook of Dallas, N.C., Edna Gault of Kelso, Tenn., and Ruth Daniel of Fayetteville, N.C.; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Georgia C. Shelton
Georgia Carol Shelton of Huntsville died Wednesday at a local hospital. A graveside service was to be today at 1 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Rev. John Dees officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs. Shelton was a member of Willowbrook Baptist Church and a nurse in pediatrics at Huntsville Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, James J. Shelton; one daughter, Deborah K. Shelton of Madison; one son, James J. Shelton II of Huntsville; one brother, Charles "Buddy" Buck of Tuscaloosa; and four sisters, Betty Colburn, Helen Sanders and Kate LeRoy, all of Tuscaloosa, and Shirley Levy of Kenner, La.

Violet P. Smith
NEW HOPE - Violet Paseur Smith, 89, of 5562 Main Drive died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Walker Cemetery with the Rev. Lynn Dimon officiating.
New Hope Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mrs. Smith was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Doris Prince of Huntsville; one son, Dal Smith of Huntsville; one brother, ONeal Paseur of New Hope; and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Robert R. Wessels
Retired Col. Robert Rogers Wessels, 76, of Huntsville died Wednesday at his home. The graveside service will be Thursday at 9 a.m. at Arlington National Cemetery.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Col. Wessells graduated from the U.S. Military Academy in 1944 and spent 29 years in the military. During World War II, he served in the European Theater of Operations with the 106th Infantry division. He was captured at the Battle of the Bulge in December 1944 and was repatriated in the spring of 1945.
After transferring to the U.S. Corps of Engineers, serving two tours of duty in Korea, one tour of duty in Europe and various other assignments in the United States, he was assigned to lead the construction management of the Stennis Research Center (formerly the Mississippi Test Facility) and the test stands and facilities at Marshall Space Flight Center. When he retired from the U.S. Army in 1973, Wernher von Braun appointed him director of facilities engineering at Marshall. In 1979, he co-founded Wescope Corp. and served as its president.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Luethke Wessels of Huntsville; one son, William Wessels of Madison; one daughter, Kirtley Royer of Greeley, Colo.; one sister, Terry Fonda of Pueblo, Colo.; and one grandson.
