ATHENS - Mildred R. Bolton of 16121 Brownsferry Road died today at her home. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

Michael E. Clanton
BOAZ - Michael Edward Clanton, 41, of 862 Coosa Road died Tuesday in Boaz. The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Boaz.
Burial will be in Walls Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn H. Clanton; one stepdaughter, Christy W. Nation of Boaz; parents, Edward and Iona Clanton of Boaz; three sisters, Pam Clanton, Cindy Gaylor and Carolyn Ogle, all of Boaz; and a special friend, Ronnie Potter.

Clifford Coggin
ATHENS - Cifford Coggin, 74, of 1211 West Market St. died Wednesday at his home. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Aaron Johnson and the Rev. Joe Teal officiating.
Mr. Coggin was a coach and teacher and played professional baseball for the Boston Red Sox. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Athens and the University of Southern Mississippi Football Hall of Fame and was a Navy World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry Coggin.
Survivors include his wife, Naomi Coggin of Athens; four sons, Perry Coggin of Columbia, Miss., Gary Coggin of Vero Beach, Fla., Terry Coggin of Houston, Miss., and Randy Malone of Oxford, Miss.; one daughter, Shirley Stingfellow of Birmingham; and 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice or the church.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Rickey D. Cribbs
TANNER - Rickey Dale Cribbs, 43, of 10420 Alabama 31 died Monday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery with Bro. Danny McMullins officiating.
Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Survivors include one son, Brandon Dale Cribbs of Cullman; one daughter, Misty Nicole Cribbs of Cullman; his mother, Clara Cribbs of Athens; one brother, Lamon Cribbs of Athens; and two sisters, Sue Schrimsher and Charlotte Cottles, both of Athens.

Mary C. Gray
ELKMONT - Mary Catherine Gray, 79, of Upper Fort Hampton Road died Tuesday at an Athens hospital. The graveside service was today at 11 a.m. at Athens City Cemetery with Tim Anderson officiating.
McConnell Funeral Home was in charge of burial.
Mrs. Gray was a native of Huntsville, attended Clements Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Gray Sr.
Survivors include one son, George A. Gray Jr. of Englehard, N.C.; three daughters, Bess Soper of Bluffton, S.C., Carol Ann Jeffery and Becky Miller, both of Mobile; one brother, William Richard Hay of Huntsville; and eight grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Clements Baptist Church, 8690 U.S. 72, Athens, 35611.

Mary Harrison
BARTOW, Fla. - Mary Vera Gladney Harrison, 84, of 5420 Flood Court died Monday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at McConnell Funeral Home in Athens with Bill Sassar officiating.
Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
Mrs. Harrison was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James Cloyce Harrison; one son, Lavaughn Gladney of Five Points, Tenn.; one daughter, Lanita Dover of Bartow; two stepsons, Cecil Jackson and Royce Jackson, both of Bartow; five stepdaughters, Connie Cantrell of Lakeland, Fla., Barbara Chauncey, Hilda King, Jeanette Duke and Merlene Griner, all of Bartow; one sister, Rosella Roper of Auburndale, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Jasper Hartline
IDER - Jasper ''Jack Hartline, 81, died Tuesday at a Fort Payne hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Ider Church of God with the Rev. Benjamin Young and the Rev. Chester Nance officiating.
Burial will be in Fuller Cemetery with Kerby Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Hartline was a member of the Ider Church of God and a honorary member of the Ider Rescue Squad. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Ozell ''Tique Hartline; and one daughter, Flotilla Bedford.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Holcomb of Albertville; two sons, Eddie Hartline of Ider and Benny Hartline of Benson, Ariz.; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Leona H. Hobbs
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Leona Howard Hobbs, 98, died Monday. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Athens City Cemetery with Mike Davis officiating.
Limestone Chapel Funeral Home of Athens is in charge of burial.
Mr. Hobbs was formerly of Athens and was a member of Market Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Gladys Hodges of St. Petersburg and Dorothy Richter of Rogersville; and four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ola M. Hughes
OWENS CROSS ROADS - Ola Mae Hughes, 64, died Wednesday at her home. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at New Hope Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Charles Miller and the Rev. Mike Green officiating.
Burial will be in Moon Cemetery.
Mrs. Hughes was a member of Cave Spring Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas D. Hughes of Owens Cross Roads; one daughter, Mary Beth Duncan of Owens Cross Roads; two sons, Dickie Rae Hughes and Tommie Dean Hughes, both of Owens Cross Roads; four sisters, Dorothy Barnett of New Hope, Margaret H. Glover of Owens Cross Roads, Marie Kearney of Huntsville and Ethel Rohromoser of Elizabeth, Tenn.; two brothers, Edward Honea and Ernest Honea Jr., both of New Hope; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Eula E. McDonald
Eula E. McDonald, 93, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a local hospital. The graveside service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Dr. Dennis Wiles officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mrs. McDonald was a member of First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Connie McDonald.
Survivors include one sister, Bula Milam of Huntsville; and three brothers, Thurman Baker of Huntsville, Charlie Baker of Gadsden and Lester Baker of Iuka, Miss.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the church or a favorite charity.

Anne McVay
ANNANDALE, Va. - Anne Lee Cox McVay died Sept. 24. The memorial service will be Oct. 14 at 5 p.m. at St. Charles Anglican Church in Huntsville.
Everly-Colonial Funeral Home of Falls Church, Va., is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McVay was formerly of Huntsville and a member of the church.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Paul McVay of Annandale; her mother, Mrs. Richard French Cox of Huntsville; one brother, Richard French Cox Jr. of Herndon, Va.; and one nephew.
Memorial donations may be made to the church.

Barbara Miller
BROWNSBORO - Barbara J. Mitchell Minor Miller, 62, died Sept. 23 in California. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church with the Rev. Joe Stephenson officiating.
Survivors include one son, Michael Minor of California; four daughters, Cathey Hernandez of California, Connie Wiles of Huntsville, Dana Bertin Helms of Ardmore, Ala., and Tina Minor of Athens; two stepsons, Tony Servin of California and Kevin Miller of Ohio; three sisters, Zilla Whitaker of Arab, Mary Lou Quinton of Georgia and Ruth Sharp of Maysville; one brother, Jerry Mitchell of Joppa; and 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Walter F. Miller Jr.
ATHENS - Walter Fred Miller Jr., 72, of 10684 Paradise Shores died Saturday at his home. There will be no funeral.
Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Miller retired from TVA.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Miller of Athens; four stepdaughters, Martha Culberson and Linda Clemons, both of Florence, Dana Baker of Athens and Kelley Goodman of Laceys Spring; one stepson, Wallace Ray Swaim of Athens; two sisters, Dorothy Knox and Alma Miller, both of Phoenix, Ariz.; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the National Wildlife Association in care of the Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge, 2700 Refuge Headquarters Road, Decatur, 35603.

Maggie Mountain
HENAGAR - Maggie Mountain, 86, died Tuesday. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar with the Rev. C.L. Wilborn and the Rev. Winford Robinson officiating.
Burial was to be in New Home Cemetery in Rosalie.
Mrs. Mountain was a member of the Portersville Baptist Church in Portersville.
Survivors include her husband, Lake Mountain; one son, Jimmy Mountain of Pisgah; one brother, Marvin Robinson of Dalton, Ga.; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

David C. Moyers Jr.
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - David C. Moyers Jr., 58, of 8 Shoreline Drive died Wednesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at McCauley Funeral Home in Fayetteville, Tenn., with full military honors and the Rev. Jay Archer officiating.
Mr. Moyers was a native of Lincoln County and a retired Air Force chief master sergeant. He flew combat missions during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Moyers of Fayetteville; two sons, Tony Moyers of Atlanta and Keith Moyers of Brentwood, Tenn.; his parents, David C. and Adelaide Moyers of Fairview, Tenn.; one brother, Dan Moyers of Colterville, Calif.; one sister, Jane Harmening of Hazel Green ; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lillie M. Savage
STEVENSON - Lillie Mae Savage, 88, died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson with Charles Cobb and the Rev. William Lankford officiating.
Burial will be in Stevenson Community Cemetery.
Mrs. Savage was a member of the Morning Star Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Savage.
Survivors include two stepdaughters, Clara Gordan and Amy Henry, both of Stevenson; two stepsons, Robert Savage and Charles Savage, both of Stevenson; two sisters, Ruthie Washington and Lucille Wellington, both of Stevenson; and 20 step-grandchildren, 22 step great-grandchildren and four step great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was to be today from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jordan G. Schrimsher
NEW HOPE - Jordan Green e Schrimsher, 65, died Tuesday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home chapel with Bro. John D. Stapler officiating.
Burial will be in Hayden Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mablene M. Schrimsher of New Hope; two daughters, JoAnn Campbell of Grant and Joyce Stapler of New Hope; one son, Martin Oliver Schrimsher of Grant; three sisters, Inez Martin, Nannie B. Smith and Ann Whitaker, all of New Hope; two brothers, James "Bud" Schrimsher and Erskine Schrimsher, both of New Hope; and nine grandchildren.

Bill G. Thompson
ALBERTVILLE - Bill Gene Thompson, 64, of 208-A Baltimore Ave. died Tuesday at his home. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery in Boaz.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Thompson; three daughters, Pam Gilmore of Guntersville, Joy Walker of Boaz and Carol Fielder of Georgia; one son, Darrell Edmondson of Missouri; one sister, Barbara Fanning of Indiana; three brothers, Shelton Thompson and Bobby Thompson, both of Huntsville, and Verbon Thompson of Boaz; and seven grandchildren.

Albert S. Turner
ATHENS - Albert Steve ''Tiny Turner, 43, of 22174 Ewell St. died Wednesday at his home. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Larry Inman officiating.
Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.
Mr. Turner was a native of Athens, a member of Fairview Baptist Church and attended East Limestone School and Tanner High School.
Survivors include one sister, Judy Head of Athens; three nephews, Kevin Head of Decatur, Rodney Head and Michael Head, both of Athens; and several aunts and uncles.

Kenneth L. Wilbourn
SOMERVILLE - Kenneth Lee Wilbourn, 22, died Tuesday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in West Point Cemetery.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Shirley and Charles Leonard of Somerville; his father and stepmother, Wayne and Deborah Wilbourn of New Hope; one stepsister, Pam K. Smith of New Hope; one brother, Eugene Wilbourn of New Hope; one stepbrother, Tony Hillis of New Hope; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Olan Wilbourn of Laceys Spring, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wilbourn of Huntsville and Shirley F. Smith of Shelbyville; and step-grandmother, Christine Wilbourn of Gurley.
Visitation will be today from 1 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
