Helen M. Ables
TONEY - Helen Marie Ables, 64, died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Gallant Funeral Home chapel in Hazel Green with the Rev. Lon Ostrzycki and the Rev. Jerry Hovis officiating.
Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, Ala.
Mrs. Ables was a native of Lincoln County, Tenn., a housewife and a member of Carters Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Flenoy Ables; two daughters, Cheryl Geske of Toney and Carl Sims of Ardmore; two sons, Ronald Ables and Bobby Ables, both of Toney; five sisters, Margie Marrs and Robbie Toone, both of Toney, Dorothy Mullins and Janell Heard, both of Ardmore, and Betty Kolle of Hazel Green ; two brothers, William Neeley of Hazel Green and Eugene Neeley of Nashville; and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Thomas E. Bledsoe
PETERSBURG, Tenn. - Thomas Erroll Bledsoe, 78, of 130 South High St. died Monday in Lewisburg, Tenn. The funeral will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at McCauley Funeral Home in Petersburg with Bro. Larry Hames officiating.
Mr. Bledsoe was a native of Lincoln County, Tenn., and a member of Lone Oak Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol Gault of Petersburg; and two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Nellarene P. Cobb
DECATUR - Nellarene P. Cobb, 68, of 2915 Frost Drive died Monday at an Athens hospital.
Limestone Chapel Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

Margaret Collier
Margaret Collier, 82, of Huntsville died Saturday at her home. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Collier was formerly of Corpus Christi, Texas, and was a founding partner of Collier, Johnson and Woods Certified Public Accountants in Corpus Christi. She was a 50-year American Red Cross volunteer and was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Collier.
Survivors include one son, Larry Collier of Lexington, Ky.; and two granddaughters, Cheryl Painter of Huntsville and Michelle Collier of Lexington.

John C. Derrington
John C. Derrington, 52, of Huntsville died Monday. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Heather Derrington of Raleigh, N.C.; and his mother, Georgia Derrington of Huntsville.

Hannah Fanning
HUNTLAND, Tenn. - Hannah Sue Burks Fanning, 82, died Monday. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Donald Schultz officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Mrs. Fanning was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Ronnie Fanning of Jacksonville, Fla.; three daughters, Fran Jennings of Maryville, Tenn., and Shirley Dickson and Lyce Arrick, both of Huntland; one brother, Ira Burks of Huntland; and seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Eddie Faulkner
TENBROECK - Eddie Mae Burchfield Faulkner, 82, died Sunday at a Gadsden hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Kelleys Chapel Church with the Rev. Melvin Hilley, the Rev. Joel Westbrooks and the Rev. Randall Lyles officiating.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel of Rainsville in charge.
Survivors include five daughters, Fay Wilson, Shirley Bailey, Peggy Mitchell, Judy Harris and Polly Bowers, all of Fyffe; three sons, Billy Faulkner, David Faulkner and Larry Faulkner, all of Fyffe; and 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Dianne F. Fletcher
BOAZ - Dianne Fredricka Fletcher, 57, of 1346 Summerville Road died Sunday in a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, Benny Wilson; five daughters, Wanda McGinnis of Missouri, Gerine Newmann of Boaz and Tina Uptain, Jackie Wilson and Rebecca Hogland, all of Guntersville; four sons, John Fletcher of Wisconsin, David Fletcher of South Carolina and Daren Wilson and Terry Wilson, both of Guntersville; two sisters, Ruth Kliven of Illinois and Nancy Blair of Wisconsin; two brothers, Gerald Brunner and Philip Brunner, both of Florida; and 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Lillie M. Haswell
SCOTTSBORO - Lillie Mae Haswell, 76, died Monday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 3 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home with the Rev. Erby Shankles and Lee Earl Thompson officiating.
Burial was to be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro.
Ms. Haswell was a member of the Church of God. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jewell Childress.
Survivors include one daughter, Tammy Gorham of Pisgah; three sons, Bobby Haswell, Billy Haswell and J.C. Haswell, all of Scottsboro; one sister, Minnie Ferguson of Scottsboro; and one brother, Raymond Ferguson of Guntersville.

Ernest Helton
WOODVILLE - Ernest Helton, 63, died Sunday at a Scottsboro hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Bellview Cemetery in Maysville.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mr. Helton was a native of Madison County and a member of New Market Church of Christ of Prophecy. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include one sister, Margaret Cleo Williamson of Woodville; two brothers, Jessie Helton and Billy Helton, both of Huntsville; and several nieces and nephews.

Larry Jackson
MADISON - Larry Jackson, 46, of 557 Capshaw Road died Monday at a Huntsville hospital. Madison Chapel Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

Margaret L. Loggins
ATHENS - Margaret Leona Loggins, 78, of Loggins Road died Sunday at her home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Cary Witty and Robert Fudge officiating.
Burial was to be in Athens City Cemetery.
Mrs. Loggins was a member of Ephesus Church of Christ, was a homemaker and was preceded in death by one son, Milton Wesley Loggins.
Survivors include her husband, William Wesley Loggins; two daughters, Anne Shannon and Doris Walker, both of Athens; one son, Wade Loggins of Athens; three brothers, Homer Pirtle of Rhode Island, Donald Pirtle and J.C. Pirtle, both of Athens; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Treva Mathias
Treva Mathias, 85, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local hospital. The graveside service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Baker Cemetery in Owens Cross Roads with Dr. Walter Nunn officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Survivors include one son, William Mathias of Fayetteville, Ga.; one daughter, Mildred Bradin of Baltimore, Md.; and seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Steven W. Northcutt
McMINNVILLE, Tenn. - Steven Wayne Northcutt, 47, of 802 Faulkner Springs Road died Monday. The funeral will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at High Funeral Home chapel in McMinnville with Tim Long officiating.
Burial will be in Smyrna Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Jennee-Maree Northcutt of McMinnville; two brothers, Ralph "Butch" Northcutt of McMinnville and Greg Northcutt of Huntsville, Ala.; one sister, Susanne Northcutt of Huntsville, Tenn.; his stepmother, Wilma Northcutt of Huntsville, Ala.; and one aunt, one uncle, one cousin and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Bridget T. Pirtle
Bridget Teresa Pirtle, 60, of Huntsville died Sunday at her home. The memorial service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with the Rev. Phil OKennedy officiating.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Pirtle was a native of Ireland and had lived in Huntsville sice 1961. She was a member of the church.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Cecil Pirtle of Huntsville; one son, Brian Hall of San Francisco; one daughter, Kathleen Nevin Hall of Tuscon, Ariz.; one brother, Liam Nevin of Tipperary, Ireland; and four sisters, Eileen Nevin Kidd of London, Joan Nevin Bowers of Tipperary, Mary Nevin McOsker of Port St. Lucy, Fla., and Kathleen Nevin Gyles of Sydney, Australia.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society in care of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 625 Airport Road, Huntsville, 35802.

J. Truman Rogers
ALBERTVILLE - J. Truman Rogers, 83, died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Garden.
Survivors include his wife, Alta Rogers; two daughters, Peggy Lacy of Birmingham and Aneice Lassiter of Florida; one stepdaughter, Mona Davis of Louisiana; two sisters, Grace Gilley of Tennessee and Belle Humfleet of Georgia; two brothers, Buren Rogers of Albertville and Joel Rogers of Boaz; and one grandchild.

Rebecca L. Saint
ARAB - Rebecca Lynn Saint, 41, of 570 South Main St. died Monday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Gilliam Springs Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Christy Martin of Huntsville and Renee Saint of Oneonta; mother, Shirley Stewart of Arab; one sister, Deborah Clay of Arab; two brothers, Michael Stewart and Charles Stewart, both of Arab; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jay F. Silvey
ARAB - Jay Francis Silvey, 82, of 151 Brookwood Circle N.E. died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at First Methodist Church in Arab.
Burial will be in Brookwood Cemetery with Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Silvey; three daughters, Frances Hyatt of Georgia, Beverly Goggans of Mobile and Barbara Hill of Moody; one son, Jerry Silvey of Memphis; and 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

J.D. Warren
ALBERTVILLE - J.D. Warren, 76, died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial will be in Rock Springs Cemetery.
Survivors include three sisters, Madge Hughes of Guntersville and Eva Bryan and Neland Warren, both of Albertville; and three brothers, Leon Warren of Albertville, Glenn Warren of Florida and Elwyn Warren of Huntsville.

Samuel W. Wilson
ALBERTVILLE - Samuel Winfred Wilson, 84, of 603 South Hambrick St. died Monday at his home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial will be in Memory Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Lurleen Wilson; two daughters, Becky Kennedy of Albertville and Sandra Hackney of Tuscaloosa; two sons, Samuel L. Wilson of Tennessee and Fred Wilson of Albertville; two sisters, Betty Berry of Guntersville and Shirley Baldwin of Albertville; two brothers, Jimmy Wilson of Indiana and George Wilson of California; and 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
