Robert W. Allen
ATHENS - Robert Wilson Allen, 80, of 21317 Myrtlewood Drive died Monday at his home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bill Smith, Malcolm Andrews and Dwight Ridinger officiating.
Burial will be in Sunny Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Allen was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Beulah Gooch Allen of Athens; one son, Jeff Allen of Athens; one daughter, Margaret Fisher of Huntsville; one stepson, Phillip Leonard of Toledo, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Claudean Buschdorf of El Paso, Texas; one brother, Aaron Allen of Athens; one sister, Lou Emma Clem of Athens; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jim Anderson
CHAPEL HILL, Tenn. - Jim Anderson, 53, died Sunday at a Little Rock, Ark., hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Tom Dumser officiating.
Burial will be in Lynnhurst Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson was a native of Huntsville and a member of First Baptist Church of Lewisburg, Tenn., and the Chiangus Cattlemen Association. He was also vice-president of research and development for the Tennessee Farmers Insurance Co.
Survivors include his wife, Dee Anderson of Chapel Hill; three daughters, Stacie Kay Montgomery of Decatur and Jaime Carole Anderson and Jennie Catherine Anderson, both of Lewisburg; his parents, J.B. and Marie Anderson of Lewisburg; one sister, Bennie Marie Bell of Merritt Island, Fla.; and one granddaughter.
Visitation will be today at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Ethel Bowen
HORTON - Ethel Bowen, 90, of 161 Douglas-Hyatt Road died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Adams Funeral Home of Albertville in charge.
Survivors include two daughters, Jean McWhorter of Horton and Tona Rogers of Georgia; three sons, Billy Bowen and Jimmy Bowen, both of Albertville, and Dennis Bowen of Horton; and 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Sarah Burns
ATHENS - Sarah Ann McMurry Burns, 71, of 9555 Poplar Point Road died Monday at a local hospital. The memorial service will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Athens with the Rev. Steve Screws officiating.
Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mrs. Burns was a member of the church, a certified flower show judge and a Girl Scouts leader for several years. She was preceded in death by one son, the Rev. Samuel Arther Burns.
Survivors include her husband, Thurman C. Burns of Athens; two sons, William Murry Burns of Tuscumbia and Frank Wilson Burns of Muscle Shoals; one daughter, Laura Nell Fox of Nappanee, Ind.; and three grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the church or the Gideons.

Dianne P. Cornelious
Dr. Dianne Phipps Cornelious, 44, of Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at noon at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. O. Wendell Davis officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Dr. Phipps was a 1973 Lee High School graduate and studied at Alabama A&M University and the University of Alabama. She taught at Butler High School and Alabama A&M and was a member of the Councill Federal Credit Union, the Community Action Agency Head Start Policy Council, the National Education Association, the Alabama Education Association and the Council for Exceptional Children.
Survivors include one son, Michael LaJuan Cornelious of Huntsville; four sisters, Vivian Kelley, Barbara Brewton, Ola Tibbs and Hilda Calhoun, all of Huntsville; and one brother, Edward Phipps of Huntsville.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

Virginia M. Dement
ATHENS - Virginia Madolin Dement, 87, died Monday at her home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home of Athens with Pat Smith officiating.
Burial will be in Legg Cemetery.
Mrs. Dement was a native of Limestone County, a homemaker, a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, John Monroe Dement Jr., and by one daughter, Betty Ann Dement.
Survivors include one daughter, Edith Marie Crabtree of Athens; two sons, John Monroe Dement III of Huntsville and Robert Allen Dement of Athens; one sister, Marie Gooch of Athens; one brother, Charles Adams of Elkmont; and six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Limestone County.

James J. Duckett
BOAZ - James Joseph Duckett, 17, of 995 Arley Lacey Road died Sunday in Boaz. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was to be in New Macedonia Cemetery.
Mr. Duckett was a student at Boaz High School where he played varsity football and basketball.
Survivors include his parents, Billy and Melanie Duckett of Boaz; two sisters, Lisa Duckett of Boaz and Regina Duckett of Montgomery; grandparents, Joe and Anita Helms of Leesburg and Irene Duckett of Boaz; great-grandmother, Maidee Nash of Leesburg; and his girlfriend, Brooke Parker of Boaz.

Edna I. Freeman
HARVEST - Edna Inez Freeman, 82, died Sunday in Huntsville. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Temple in Savannah, Ga., with the Rev. Dr. Marc Hearn officiating.
Burial will be in Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah with Madison Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Freeman was a lifelong member of the church and a watch maker.
Survivors include one son, Robert D. Davis of Harvest; and one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Hamon Glass
MADISON - Hamon Glass, 86, died Monday at a Huntsville hospital. Madison Chapel Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mr. Glass retired from the Air Force and was a member of Elkton Baptist Church in Elkton, Tenn.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra Sutton of Madison and Linda Lesley of Tuscaloosa; two sons, Eugene Glass of St. Cloud, Minn., and Dale Glass of Avon, Minn.; one sister, Marie Waggeirt of Rogersville; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Edward F. Goodson
LACEY'S SPRING - Edward Felton Goodson, 77, died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home in Decatur with the Rev. Eldridge Criscoe officiating.
Burial was to be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Goodson was an Air Force veteran of World War II, was retired from 3M Co., and a member of Rescue Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Felton Goodson of Morgan City and Ralph Edward Goodson of Lacey's Spring; and one granddaughter.

Hester L. Hammonds
FORT PAYNE - Hester Lee Hammonds, 97, died Monday. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar with the Rev. Rodney Hammonds officiating.
Burial will be in Fuller Cemetery in Ider.
Mrs. Hammonds was a member of the Ider Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Hammonds; two daughters, Inez Hammonds and Betty Kilgore; and one son, Edgar Hammonds.
Survivors include two daughters, Nadine H. Shipp of Rainsville and Kathleen H. Purcell of Ringgold, Ga.; one son, Charles Hammonds of Valley Head; and 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was to be today from 3 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Birtie L. Howell
FLORENCE - Birtie Lawrence Howell, 84, died Monday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Bill Compton officiating.
Shelton Funeral Home of Decatur is in charge of burial.
Survivors include one daughter, Deanna Mayfield of Florence; one sister, Lovella Norman of Decatur; and six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Aryeh Kidron
Aryeh "Aric" Kidron, 70, of Huntsville died Nov. 5 at his home. The funeral was Nov. 7 in New York.
Spry Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
Mr. Kidron was a retired physicist and a native of Izmir, Turkey. He immigrated to Isreal in 1949 and to the United States in 1969. He had lived in Huntsville since 1973, first teaching at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and then working for McDonnell-Douglas and Nichols Research Corp.
Survivors include one daughter, Sarah Keret of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one son, Eyal Kidron of Israel; and four grandchildren.

Charles C. Kimbrough
DALEVILLE - Charles Calvin Kimbrough, 70, of 34 Forest Road died Nov. 23. The memorial service will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Dothan.
Kent-Thornton Funeral Home of Dothan is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Kimbrough was a native of Madison County. He was a self-employed brick mason and an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Edith George Kimbrough of Daleville; and one son, Charles W. Kimbrough of Enterprise.

Lillian L. Martin
Lillian Lawler Martin, 92, of Huntsville died Tuesday in Fayetteville, Tenn. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

Roy A. Paseur
Roy Allen Paseur, 66, of Huntsville died Monday at his home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home chapel with Bros. Jerry Stapler and John Daniel Stapler officiating.
Burial will be in Gipson Cemetery.
Mr. Paseur was a farmer and retired from Norton Co./Saint Gobain of Huntsville.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Idella Paseur of Huntsville; one daughter, Kathy Jean Paseur Craig of Huntsville; four sons, Allen Wayne Paseur and Terry Keith Paseur, both of Huntsville, Donald Roy Paseur of New Hope and Tracy Glenn Paseur of Owens Cross Roads; one sister, Louise Paseur of McDonough, Ga.; four brothers, Thomas Paseur of Fyffe, Turner Paseur of Red Bay and Conward Paseur and Lester Paseur, both of Huntsville; and eight grandchildren, one step-grandchild, three great-grandchildren and one great-step-grandchild.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Southern Care Hospice in Huntsville.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Bobby R. Pierce
GUNTERSVILLE - Bobby Ray Pierce, 42, died Sunday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Happy Home Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Pierce officiating.
Burial will be in Happy Home Baptist Church Cemetery with Albertville Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include two brothers, Roger Wayne Pierce of Guntersville and Billy Pierce of Albertville; two sisters, Delilah Vaughn of Guntersville and Lisa Pierce Albertville; and two step-grandchildren, five nieces, six nephews and two great-nephews.

John B. Price
PANAMA CITY, Fla. - John B. Price, 91, of Boat Race Road died Sunday. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at New Sharon Cemetery with the Rev. Lon Oztrzycki officiating.
Gallant Funeral Home of Hazel Green is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Price was a native of Madison County, a retired farmer and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Ricketts of Panama City; five sisters, Mattie Mitchell, Ola Clark, Frances Monday and Lillie Belle Jeans, all of Huntsville, and Ruth Rogers of Hazel Green ; and one brother, Clifford Price of Huntsville.

Walter E. Scott
LACEY'S SPRING - Walter E. Scott, 74, died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital. There will be no local funeral service.
Burial will be in Russell Cemetery in Russell, Iowa, with Twickenham Funeral Home South in charge of local arrangements.
Mr. Scott was a Shriner and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Scottish Rite.
Survivors include one son, Craig Scott of Parker, Colo.; one daughter, Kathy Herman of Melrose, Iowa; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

E. James Smith
E. James ''E.J.'' Smith, 59, of Huntsville died Thursday. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Ackerman officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Smith was a native of Sayre, Pa. He was retired from the Xerox Corp. and moved to Huntsville in 1998.
Survivors include his wife, Laurie Porter Smith; two sons, Jim Smith and Mark Smith, both of Rochester, N.Y.; two daughters, Karla Kellogg of Rochester and Maria Walsh of Buffalo, N.Y.; his mother, Verda Smith of Cherry Hill, N.J.; one sister, Barbara Lattimer of Cherry Hill; one stepson, Paul Porter of Huntsville; and three grandchildren, Keith and Kyle Kellogg of Rochester, and Julia Walsh of Buffalo.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society of America.

Lawrence M. Wilson
BOAZ - Lawrence M. Wilson, 85, of 367-C Summerville Homes died Sunday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Boaz.
Burial was to be in Hillcrest Cemetery with Carr Funeral Home of Boaz in charge.
Survivors include one daughter, Diane Owens of Louisiana; three sons, Bobby Wilson, Johnny Wilson and Jody Wilson, all of Boaz; one sister, Nell Morris of Boaz; and eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Sharron R. Zysk
MADISON - Sharron R. Zysk, 38, died Friday. Madison Chapel Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
