James M. Anderson
James Maurice Anderson, 41, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with Johnny Clardy officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson worked for the VBCC event staff 11 years and had been working for American Alloy Fabrications Inc. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane Anderson; one daughter, Heather Reynolds of Mississippi; one son, Jeffrey Anderson of South Carolina; his parents, James D. Anderson and Joanne Anderson, both of Harvest; and one granddaughter.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Charles E. Bishop
Charles E. Bishop, 74, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. The graveside service was today at 11 a.m. at Huntsville Memory Gardens with Bro. Charles D. Medley officiating.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bishop was a native of Jackson County and a lifelong resident of Madison County. He was the former owner of Bishop Chevron Service Station and a World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife, DeVeda M. Bishop; two daughters, Janie Lynn Bishop of Huntsville and Jeanne Marie Freeman of Destin, Fla.; one son, Edward D. Bishop of Woodbridge, Va.; and two grandchildren.

Mary M. Bledsoe
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Mary Massey Bledsoe, 87, of 306 DeSota St. died Tuesday at her home. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Todd Jenkins officiating.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Bledsoe was a native of Lincoln County, a homemaker and an elder at First Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty Burnum of Elora, Tenn., Mary Etta Fishbein of Tullahoma, Tenn., and Lila Burnett of Fayetteville; one son, Lewis W. Bledsoe of Charlotte, N.C.; and 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

M.D. Bonds Jr.
VALHERMOSO SPRINGS - M.D. Bonds Jr., 81, died Monday at a Decatur hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Valhermoso Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Graig Carlisle officiating.
Peck Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mr. Bonds was preceded in death by his wife, Clyde Smith Bonds.
Survivors include two daughters, Angelien B. Wood of Decatur and Danna Mason of Torrance, Calif.; one sister, Margaret Taylor of Decatur; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Dorothy M. Brumlow
HAZEL GREEN - Dorothy M. Brumlow, 67, of Honea Road died Tuesday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Gallant Funeral Home Chapel in Hazel Green with Pastor Paul Kirk officiating.
Burial will be in Stateline Cemetery.
Mrs. Brumlow was a native of Madison County, a housewife and a member of the Worldwide Church of God.
Survivors include her husband, Nolan Brumlow of Hazel Green ; one daughter, Polly Corum of Hazel Green ; three sisters, Joyce Carter of Albertville, Doris Hillis of Huntsville and Sonjia Anderson of Fort Myers, Fla.; three brothers, Melvin Mayes of Panama City, Fla., Charles Mayes of Huntsville and Kenneth Mayes of Hazel Green ; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Margaret Fleischman
Margaret Joanne Fleischman, 70, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with the Rev. Phil O'Kennedy officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Fleischman was a native of Middletown, Ohio, but had lived in Huntsville since 1973. She was a member of the church and former music director at Redstone Arsenal's Bicentennial Chapel.
Survivors include her husband, Retired Lt. Col. Ralph E. Fleischman of Huntsville; four daughters, Deborah Fleischman, Anne Thorpe and Irene Fleischman, all of Huntsville, and Mary Ross of Missoula, Mont.; three sons, Edmund Fleischman and James Fleischman, both of Huntsville, and John Fleischman of Hartselle; two sisters, Max Bramlage of Dayton, Ohio, and Deborah Law of Owasso, Mich.; three brothers, Patrick Monaghan, David Monaghan and Michael Monaghan, all of Dayton, Ohio; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

William C. Fleming
William C. "Bill" Fleming, 72, of Huntsville died Wednesday at his home. The graveside service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Eddie Levick officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mr. Fleming retired from the Army Ordinance Missile Command and was a member of Twickenham Church of Christ and an Auburn University graduate.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Wilkes Fleming of Huntsville; two daughters, Ann Reinhart of Huntsville and Mary Jane Brooks of Tallahassee, Fla.; one sister, Mildred Fleming Lang of Owens Cross Roads; one brother, Joe Edward Fleming of Unionville, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Childhaven Orphans Home in Cullman.

Eddie F. Hall
GUNTERSVILLE - Eddie Franklin Hall, 51, of 3716 Colonial Drive died Tuesday at his home. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Guntersville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Entombment will be in Crestview Mausoleum.
Survivors include his parents, William Albert and Jimmie Lou Hall of Guntersville; one sister, Tammie Hall Usery of Hoxie, Ark.; two brothers, Rickie Henry Hall of Fultondale and William Timmie Hall of Guntersville; and a special friend, Lois McArdle of Guntersville.
Visitation will be today from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

John A. Holcomb
BOAZ - John Aubrey Holcomb, 63, of 177 Mount Vernon Homes died Monday at his home. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Carr Funeral Home of Boaz.
Burial will be in Pleasant Hill No. 1 Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Morgan and Jane Holcomb, both of Mountainboro; one son, Jonathan Holcomb of Boaz; mother, Beulah Holcomb of Boaz; three sisters, Inez Walker and Debbie Green, both of Boaz, and Martha Cornutt of Attalla; and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Billy J. Nash
ATHENS - Billy Joe Nash, 66, died Monday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 1 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home of Athens with Jimmy Turner officiating.
Burial was to be in Dement Cemetery.
Mr. Nash was a native of Limestone County, an Army veteran and a retired heavy equipment mechanic.
Survivors include four sons, Billy Wayne Nash of Edgefield, S.C., Johnny Ray Nash of Aiken, S.C., Jeffrey Ray Nash of Augusta, Ga., and Ronnie Lee Nash of Green wood, S.C.; three daughters, Judy Taylor of Aiken, JoAnn Stamey of Abbeville, S.C., and Bobbie Jo Cantrell of Westminster, S.C.; three brothers, Orville Nash of Killen, Johnny Nash and Tommy Nash, both of Athens; six sisters, Edna Downs of Decatur, Christine Biggs, Ethel Motter, Geneva Pack, Jewell Johnson and Ruth Butler, all of Athens; and 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Nancy Owen
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Nancy Owen, 70, of Prospect Road died today at a local hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Riverview Memorial Gardens.
Gallant Funeral Home of Fayetteville is in charge of burial.
Mrs. Owen was a native of Madison County, a member of West Huntsville Presbyterian Church and a homemaker.
Survivors include five daughters, Debbie Towry and Becky Patterson, both of Fayetteville, Nancy Thomison of Knoxville, Tenn., Ginger McCoy of Kingsport, Tenn., and Juanita Thomason of Tullahoma, Tenn.; one brother, Donald Owen of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; four sisters, Coby Marbrey of Brooksville, Fla., Juanita Hamilton of Nashville, Eileen Howe of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Margaret Elliott of Norfolk, Va.; one brother, Charles King of Huntsville; and 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jordan M. Pointer
CROSSVILLE - Jordan Montana Pointer, an infant, died Sunday at an area hospital. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery with Albertville Funeral Home in charge.

Bertha S. Prince
HARTSELLE - Bertha Sanders Prince, 89, of 235 Lockart Road died Tuesday at a Decatur hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home in Hartselle with the Rev. Dan Morton officiating.
Burial will be in Shoal Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Prince was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Prince; and two sons, Bobby Ray Prince and Jackie Lee Prince.
Survivors include four daughters, Sue Simpson of Falkville, Shirley Holt of Price ville, Peggy Pucheu of Altoona and Joyce Alexander of Chattanooga; two sisters, Gerthie Hitt of Largo, Fla., and Lula White of Decatur; and 20 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Gladys Shelton
Gladys Shelton, 93, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local nursing home. The funeral was to be today at 1:30 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Hulett Lemay officiating.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mrs. Shelton was a native of Jackson County, a retired textile worker and a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church.
Survivors include three great-nieces, Barbara Hamby, Susan Betts and Jennie Castelow, all of Huntsville; two great-nephews, David Johnson and John Johnson, both of Huntsville; and one great-great-neice.
Visitation was today from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.

Allie M. Toney
IDER - Allie Mea Toney, 84, died Monday. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson with the Rev. Stanley Weldon offiiciating.
Burial will be in Old Baptist Cemetery in Stevenson.
Mrs. Toney was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Toney.
Survivors include three daughters, Ida Holcomb of Whitwell, Tenn., Bonnie Williams of Ider and Nell Lammons of Chucky, Tenn.; four sons, Raymond Toney of Ider, Bob Toney of Huntsville and Charles Toney and Lee Toney, both of Chattanooga; one sister, Beatrice Melton of Ider; one brother, Charles Bice of Bridgeport; and 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was to be today from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Virginia B. Wilbanks
Virginia Brianne Wilbanks, 3, of Huntsville died Tuesday at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Charles Freeman officiating.
Burial will be in Ford's Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include her parents, Kevin Wilbanks of Huntsville and Kristine Wilbanks of Atlanta; her stepmother, Tammy Wilbanks of Huntsville; grandparents, Ed and Cyndi Wilbanks of Huntsville, Howard and Annette Mercer of Cowan, Tenn., and Clint and Barbara Elliott of Somerville; and great-grandmothers, Peggy Marsh of Huntsville, Irene Wilbanks of Harvest and Dora Mae Mitchell of Owens Cross Roads.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Henry M. Wright
BOAZ - Henry Mathis Wright, 92, of 1202 Snellgrove Ave. died Tuesday at his home. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Boaz.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Lorene Wright and Doris Knott, both of Boaz, and Frances Powers of Florida; and and seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

James H. Youngblood
James H. Youngblood, 81, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Nelms Memorial Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Julius R. Scruggs officiating.
Burial will be in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Youngblood of Huntsville; three sons, James Youngblood Jr. of Grosse Point, Mich., Bruce Youngblood of Comas, Wash., and Kenneth Youngblood of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one stepson, Algerome Pitts of Newark, N.J.; two stepdaughters, Velna Pitts of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Beverly Batten of Huntsville; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
