William E. Addison
William E. "Ed" Addison, 78, of Huntsville died Wednesday at his home. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mayfair Church of Christ with Bros. Herschel McFarlin and Lem Tipton officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Addison was a member and former elder at Mayfair Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Ora L. Addison of Huntsville; three daughters, Lynn Timmerman of Birmingham, Bobbie Cole of Seoul, Korea, and Liz Swilley of Norcross, Ga.; two brothers, Ken Addison of Leesburg, Fla., and Hewitt Addison of Winfield; one sister, Betty Delberta of Jasper; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Childhaven in Cullman.

Racheal S. Bates
TAFT, Tenn. - Racheal S. Bates, 73, of 138 Red Hill Road died Thursday at a Fayetteville, Tenn., hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. James Warren officiating.
Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery.
Mrs. Bates was a member of the Church of Christ and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Bates of Taft; and three great-grandchildren.

Mary J. Bearden
ALBERTVILLE - Mary Joyce Bearden, 61, of Albertville died Tuesday at her home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial was to be in Memory Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Mack Bearden; two daughters, Leann Ratcliffe of Birmingham and Tammy Roberson of Altoona; two sons, David Bearden of Oneonta and Tony Bearden of Aroney; her mother, Frances Armstrong of Florida; four sisters, Shirley Tabor, Sarah Catalano and Pat Burke, all of Florida, and Diane Armstrong of Albertville; two brothers, Lamar Armstrong of Florida and Bob By Oliver of Albertville; and four grandchildren.

Edward Caudle Sr.
TRIANA - Edward Caudle Sr., 72, died Sunday at his home. The funeral will be Saturday at noon at Mount Zion Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Elder Eugene Lewis officiating.
Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Alberta Caudle of Triana; three daughters, Cora L. Redix of St. Petersburg, Fla., Earnestine Sullivan of Owens Cross Roads and Kathey L. Harris of Huntsville; three sons, Edward Caudle Jr. of Huntsville, Larry Caudle of Harvest and Thomas Caudle of Triana; two brothers, Tommy Caudle of Chicago and Luther Cole of Chattanooga; and 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

Annie F. Eder
Annie Foster Eder, 78, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local nursing home. The graveside service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Bro. Lem Tipton officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mrs. Eder was a native of Jackson County and moved to Huntsville when she was a child. She stayed in Huntsville except for the years she lived with her husband at Air Force bases in Montgomery, Altus, Okla., the Virgin Islands and Alaska. She was active in the Huntsville Art League and was a member of the Drake-Garth Garden Club and Mayfair Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Robert J. Eder.
Survivors include two sisters, Kathhryn Carter and Irene Adams, both of Huntsville.
Memorial donations may be made to the church or a favorite charity.

Ida M. Franklin
ARDMORE, Tenn. - Ida M. Franklin, 103, died Wednesday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Taylor-Ardmore Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
She was a member of Boyd's Chapel Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, James Leon Puckett of Ardmore, Ala.; and eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Max M. Garrison
Max Melvin Garrison, 51, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Whitesburg Baptist Church with Dr. Jimmy Jackson and the Rev. Bill Mills officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Becky Garrison of Huntsville; two daughters, Kristi Garrison Norris of Hazel Green and Robbie Garrison Smith of Huntsville; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Garrison of Huntsville; one brother, Mike Garrison of Huntsville; two sisters, Pam Kraft and Myra Landman, both of Huntsville; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 117-C Longwood Drive S.E., Huntsville, 35801.

Betty S. Gualtieri
Betty S. Gualtieri, 79, of Huntsville died Monday. There will be a private funeral at Valhalla Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Glenn Courtney officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Survivors include three sons, Ron Gualtieri of Florida, Robert Gualtieri of Louisiana and Richard Gualtieri of Huntsville; and five grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Association.

Bertha A. Hartig
Bertha Agnes Hartig, 84, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. Spry Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Hartig was a native of Grand Rapids, Mich.
Survivors include one niece, Dolores Deweese of Chicago.

Annie Kindred
BRIDGEPORT - Annie Kindred, 95, died Wednesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson with the Rev. Johnnie Fincher officiating.
Burial will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include three daughters, Kathleen Bates of Scottsboro, Mae Mittleton of Bridgeport and Ruby Ward of Rossville, Ga.; three sons, Floyd Kindred of Jasper, Tenn., Edward Kindred of Chattanooga and Cecil Kindred of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Ethel Haulk of Gurley and Pearl Hall of Woodville; and 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

Robert M. Long
SYLVA, N.C. - Robert M. Long, 77, died Thursday at a Murfreesboro, Tenn., nursing home. The graveside service will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Wrights Cemetery with the Rev. Virgil Bailey officiating.
Higgins Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Survivors include one son, Brant Long of Evans, Ga.; three brothers, William H. Long of Nashville, Donald W. Long of Tarpon Springs, Fla., and Bernard R. Long of Arlington, Va.; and four grandchildren.

Lula M. Nixon
ATHENS - Lula Mae Nixon, 84, of 10144 Ripley Road died Wednesday at her home. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Warren Glass officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. attended Valley View Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her husband, Henry P. Nixon.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Nixon of Orlando, Fla., and Harvey P. Nixon of Massillon, Ohio; one daughter, Betty Bradley of Jacksonville, Ark.; and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

James R. Pam
James Roland Pam, 46, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Blackburn Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. McKinley Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Pam of Huntsville; four daughters, Barbara Fearn, Sharon Smartt, Starletta Strickland and Urslela Strickland, all of Huntsville; three sons, Maurice Smartt, Quincy Strickland and James R. Pam Jr., all of Huntsville; four sisters, Dera Wynn, Isabel Pam and Mazie Pam Brown, all of Huntsville, and Ora Pam of Madison; one brother, the Rev. Thomas Pam of Madison; and nine grandchildren.

Robert L. Reynolds
ALBERTVILLE - Robert Lee Reynolds, 82, died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial was in Brashers Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Irene Lemley of Albertville; one son, Don Weaver of Albertville; and eight grandchildren.

David J. Wall
David Julian Wall, 77, of Huntsville died Tuesday at his home. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Boulware officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Wall was a member of Hillsboro Heights Baptist Church and a longtime Sunday school teacher. He retired from GTE and was a World War II veteran and a member of the 105th Naval Construction Battalion. He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Irene Scott Wall.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy Wall Mahone of Nashville and Bonnie Wall Call of Cypress, Calif.; one son, David Wall of Huntsville; and nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Melvin Whitley
FYFFE - Melvin Whitley, 78, died Thursday at his home. The memorial service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel.
Survivors include his wife, Lolabelle Whitley of Fyffe; three daughters, Cheryl R. Whitley of Orange City, Fla., Carolyn Jorod of Henning, Minn., and June Ellen Whitley of Lexington, Ky.; two sons, Gerald Whitley of Homosassa, Fla., and Vincent Lee Whitley of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two sisters, Hattie Powers of Newport News, Fla., and Mavis Johnson of Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, Jesse Hilton Whitley of Washington, N.C.; and 26 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Ethel D. Wilson
Ethel Davis Wilson, 68, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. O. Wendell Davis officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Oak Memorial Park in Tuscaloosa with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Wilson retired from the Common Wealth Edison Co. in Joliet, Ill., and was an active member of the First Baptist Satellite Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Washington and Deborah Blackburn, both of Huntsville; one sister, Janie Page of Tuscaloosa; one brother, Willie Davis of Tuscaloosa; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
