Joseph Clark
ARAB - Joseph Clark, 68, of Arab died Thursday at his home. The funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Gober Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Brashiers Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret R. Clark; one daughter, Kelly Clark of Georgia; four sons, Danny Clark, Alan Clark, Todd Clark and Paul Clark, all of Huntsville; three sisters, Wanda Todd of Texas and Barbara Harris and Blondale Dolland, both of Michigan; two brothers, Tom Clark of Michigan and Wayne Clark of Arizona; and three grandchildren, four stepchildren and seven step-grandchildren.

Richard Crutcher Jr.
ARDMORE, Tenn. - Richard B. Crutcher Jr., 56, of Austin Whitt Road died Thursday at his home. The funeral will be today at 1 p.m. at Gallant Funeral Home with the Rev. Wheeler Kidd and Rev. Doug Johns officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
Mr. Crutcher was a native of Madison County. He was a retired dairy farmer and member of Pulaski Pike Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Jean Crutcher; two daughters, Gwendolyn McQuillin of Falkville and Lorrie Ann Hill of Meridianville; one son, Michael Crutcher of Ardmore, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.

Annie F. Eder
Annie Foster Eder, 78, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local nursing home. The graveside service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Brother Lem Tipton officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mrs. Eder was a native of Jackson County and moved to Huntsville when she was a child. She was active in the Huntsville Art League and was a member of the Drake-Garth Garden Club and Mayfair Church of Christ. She was preceded in death By her husband, Air Force Col. Robert J. Eder.
Survivors include two sisters, Kathhryn Carter and Irene Adams, both of Huntsville.
Memorial donations may be made to the church or a favorite charity.

LaVada D. Elliott
GRANT - LaVada ''Vada'' Davis Elliott, 86, of 322 Ester Road died Friday at her home. The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Grant Church of Christ with Grant Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Burial will be in Free Home Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, James Earl Elliott of Grant; one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Elliott Barrington of Florida; one sister, Annie Lou Davis of Grant; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

Todd M. Ennis
ALABASTER - Todd Mastin Ennis, 34, died Thursday at his home. Laughlin Service Funeral Home of Huntsville will announce arrangements later.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Ennis was a graduate of Huntsville High School and the UAB School of Radiography. He was a registered radiographic and MRI technician.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ennis; one stepson, Travis Easterling of Alabaster; two stepdaughters, Britney Easterling and Keema Easterling, both of Alabaster; one brother, Patrick Gaston Ennis of Boynton Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Shelby Lorraine Ennis of Huntsville and Lucy Ennis Sutherland of Loganville, Ga.; and his grandmother, Edith Gaston of Meridian, Miss.
Memorials may be made to the Church of Nativity Building Fund or the Boys and Girls Club.

Bertha A. Hartig
Bertha Agnes Hartig, 84, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. Spry Funeral Home will announce arrangements.
Mrs. Hartig was a native of Grand Rapids, Mich., and a longtime resident of Huntsville.
Survivors include one niece, Dolores Deweese of Chicago and two special friends, Mary Harrison and Mary McDaniel, both of Huntsville.

Della R. Hill
SCOTTSBORO - Della Ruth Hill, 73, died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be today at 1 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home with the Rev. James Bynum officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro.
Mrs. Hill was a native of Jackson County and a member of the St. Paul A.M.E. Church.
Survivors include one daughter, JoAnne Hill of Scottsboro; one son, Howard Hill of Scottsboro; one sister, Mary Jane Hendrix of Scottsboro; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Curtis E. Jenkins
BLOUNTSVILLE - Curtis Eugene Jenkins, 65, of Blountsville died Thursday at his home. The funeral will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Gober Funeral Home in Arab.
Burial will be in Nixon Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy E. Jenkins; one daughter, Debra Payne of Tennessee; two sons, Gary Jenkins and Dennis Jenkins, both of Blountsville; three sisters, Sarah Mills and Betty Hutchinson, both of South Carolina, and Peggy King of Decatur; four brothers, James Jenkins Jr. of California, Ralph Jenkins of Utah, Tom Jenkins of Florida and Jerry Jenkins of Albertville; and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Frank McDonald
Frank McDonald, 63, of Huntsville died Friday at his home. Gallant Funeral Home will announce arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce McDonald; one daughter, Deirdre McDonald of Huntsville; and one son, Geoffrey McDonald of North Carolina.

James C. Prestage
HARTSELLE-James Cecil Prestage, 77, of 2225 Bethel Road died Thursday at his home. The funeral will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Wilson officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens with Peck Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Prestage was a native of Mississippi. He was a statistician at Redstone Arsenal.
Survivors include his wife, Theo Prestage of Hartselle; a brother, Paul Prestage of Red Bay; and two sisters, Bernice Works of Red Bay and Vera Bostick of Belmont, Miss.

Edward W. Rice
ELKMONT - Edward William Rice, 86, died Friday at a Pulaski, Tenn., nursing home. The graveside service will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Bush Cemetery, New Hope, with the Rev. Harold S. Daniel officiating.
Spry Funeral Home of Athens is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Rice was a native of Marshall County. He was retired from Redstone Arsenal, was an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of Galilee Baptist Church, New Hope.
Survivors include a daughter, Sylvia Rice Daniel of Elkmont; a brother, John W. Rice of Brooksville, Fla.; three sisters, Loma Branum of Cedar Bluff, Alice Baker of Guntersville, and Lillian Glover of Akron, Ohio; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Marion D. Rodgers
SCOTTSBORO - Marion D. Rodgers, 66, of 5533 Columbus City Road died Thursday at a South Pittsburg, Tenn., hospital. The graveside service will be today at 10 a.m. at Free Home Cemetery with Brother Wendel Turner officiating.
Grant Memorial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Noel L. Sargent
SCOTTSBORO - Noel Lee Sargent, 48, died Thursday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be today at 1 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Patterson and Rev. Darrell Haney officiating.
Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Sherrie Baugh of Section; one son, Nicholas Sargent of Section; his mother, Essie Olean Sargent of Fort Payne; and four brothers, Lester Sargent of Section, Jimmy Sargent, Jerry Sargent and Darrell Sargent, all of Rainsville.

Gertrude Swinford
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Gertrude Swinford, 88, of 2725 Huntsville Highway died Friday at a Tullahoma, Tenn., hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at Prospect Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Gay officiating.
McCauley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Swinford was a native of Nashville. She was retired from Serbin Fashions and was a member of Prospect Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Corene Gregory of Lake Placid, Fla., Frances Arnold and Becky Smith, both of Fayetteville; one son, Charles Swinford of Fayetteville; two sisters, Velma Swaford of Lugoff, S.C., and Louise Bayles of Hollywood, Fla.; one brother, E.A. Tucker of Fayetteville; and nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Evelyn M. Taylor
Evelyn M. Taylor, 90, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a Pulaski, Tenn., hospital. The funeral will be Monday at noon at Lakeside United Methodist Church with the Rev. Percy Nolan officiating.
Burial will be in Northside Cemetery with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Usher Board and the Annie Cooper Circle at Lakeside United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one foster sister, Maureen Cathey of Huntsville; one foster brother, Walter A. Joiner of Huntsville; and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. to noon at the church.

Granville C. Thomas
FORT PAYNE - Granville C. ''Grant'' Thomas, 78, died Thursday at a Gadsden hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Home chapel in Rainsville with the Rev. Kevin McCreless officiating.
Burial will be in National Cemetery in Chattanooga.
Survivors include one daughter, Pamela J. McGaw of Pensacola, Fla.; three sisters, Earline Womack of Dutton, Shelby Jean of Powell and Thelma Cook of Fyffe; two brothers, E.M. Thomas of Fyffe and Wendell Thomas of Trenton, Ga.; and two grandchildren.

Joseph R. Tremul
Joseph Raymond Tremul, 71, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with the Rev. Phil O'Kennedy officiating.
Twickenham Funeral Home South is in charge of arrangements.
Dr. Tremul was a native of Johnstown, Pa., and had lived in Huntsville since 1972. He was a veteran of the Navy, a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Catfish Association.
Dr. Tremul received his bachelor's degree from Indiana University, his master's from Temple, and his Ph.D. in philosphy from Pacific Southern University. He retired from OMMCS in 1995.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine Tremul; one son, Jose Tremul of Virginia; two daughters, Cecelia Tremul of Huntsville and Lisa Armstrong of Pennsylvania; one sister, Cecelia Michura of Pennsylvania; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Melvin Whitley
FYFFE - Melvin Whitley, 78, died Thursday at his home. The memorial service will be today at 2 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel.
Survivors include his wife, Lolabelle Whitley of Fyffe; three daughters, Cheryl R. Whitley of Orange City, Fla., Carolyn Jorod of Henning, Minn., and June Ellen Whitley of Lexington, Ky.; two sons, Gerald Whitley of Homosassa, Fla., and Vincent Lee Whitley of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two sisters, Hattie Powers of Newport News, Va., and Mavis Johnson of Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, Jesse Hilton Whitley of Washington, N.C.; and 26 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Fred W. Wilson
ALBERTVILLE - Fred W. Wilson, 63, died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Albertville Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Bright officiating.
Burial will be in Memory Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Earl Wilson; two daughters, Marla Ann Calico of Atlanta and Marjorie Shawn Wilson of Anniston; one brother, Sam Wilson of Tennessee; two sisters, Sandy Hackney of Tuscaloosa and Becky Kennedy of Albertville; and several nieces and nephews.
