John Franklin Ingram

Funeral for John Franklin Ingram, 46, of Decatur will be today at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwayne McDuff officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mr. Ingram died Thursday, March 23, 2000, at his home. He was born June 13, 1953, in Frankfurt, Germany. A 1971 Austin High School graduate, he was a former park ranger chief at Point Mallard Park, where he worked for 18½ years. He attended Calhoun Community College and Auburn University and was a member of the United Methodist Church. He was the brother of the late Bryant Keith Ingram.

He is survived by his parents, Harold Clayton Ingram and Mary Dean Ingram of Decatur; and two brothers, Harold Clayton Ingram Jr. of Cullman and Gregory Colvard Ingram of Queretaro, Mexico.

Pallbearers will be Howard Godbee, Mike Schreck, Rusty Grimes, Buck Bowen, Tony Evans and David Lyle.

Stephen Otto Marsh
19, Morgan County resident

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Stephen Otto Marsh, 19, of Somerville will be today at 2 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Harlon Hood officiating.

Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Marsh died Thursday, March 23, 2000, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Nov. 5, 1980, in Morgan County to Joseph David and Barbara Piper Marsh. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and a 1999 graduate of Brewer High School.

He is survived by his parents of Somerville; one brother; Daniel Marsh of Somerville; and his grandparents, Burton Marsh of Madison and Opal Piper of Decatur.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Mooneyham, David Sharp, Nathan Kimbrell, Walt Gilstrap, Jeremy Iddins and Wesley McCutcheon.

J.W. Woodard
57, Moulton resident

MOULTON -- Funeral for Jackson Willard "J.W." Woodard, 57, of Moulton will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Gary Carter Sr. officiating.

Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Woodard died Thursday, March 23, 2000, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Monteagle, Tenn. He was born May 13, 1942, in Moulton. He was a member of Hillsboro Heights Church of Christ.

He is survived by four brothers, Edward Woodard of Elgin, Lester Woodard of Decatur, Willard Steele of Falkville and Robert Steele of Moulton; and one sister, Mary Lee Chamness of Moulton.

Nephews will be pallbearers.

Mary Smither Smith
87, homemaker

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Cryptside service for Mary Catherine Smither Smith, 87, of Fort Worth will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Green wood Mausoleum's Court of David with Green wood Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Smith died Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at Lakewood Village Retirement Home. She was born April 22, 1912, in Fordsville, Ky., to John Franklin Smither and Susan Roberta Strother Smither. She was reared in Decatur, where she married Leonard Ray Smith in 1932, and became a homemaker. She was the mother of the late Linda Francis Smith Lewis.

She is survived by one brother, John Franklin Smither Jr. of Decatur.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Meadowbrook United Methodist Church or a favorite charity.

Etta Helen Williams
71, homemaker

MOULTON -- Funeral for Etta Helen Williams, 71, of Decatur will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with the Rev. Francis Proctor officiating.

Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Williams died Friday, March 24, 2000, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born April 14, 1928, in Moulton to Lawrence and Mary Brewington Yarbrough. She was a homemaker and attended the Church of God. She was the sister of the late L.G. Yarbrough and Martha Cagle.

She is survived by her husband, George Williams; two sons, Laymond Williams and Lester Williams, both of Michigan; two daughters, Barbara Melson and Patsy Naylor, both of Moulton; one brother, Jim Yarbrough of Michigan; one sister, Peggy Williams of Michigan; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Melson, Chris Williams, Leon Williams, Nick Williams, Justin Dutton and Temple Montgomery.

Louie Lee Brown
78, retired pulpwood dealer
Funeral for Louie Lee Brown, 78, of Decatur will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Mark Tolbert and the Rev. Archie Hampton officiating.

Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 7 at the funeral home.

Mr. Brown died Sunday, March 26, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Sept. 7, 1921, in Lake Charles, La., to Arthur and Ethel Fortenberry Brown. He was a retired partner of Arthur Brown and Son pulpwood dealership and served in the U.S. Merchant Marine during World War II.

He was a member of Central Baptist Church, Joe Wheeler Chapter of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Alabama Merchant Marine Veterans of World War II. He was the father of the late Arthur Thornton Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Ella Frances Brown; one son, Hayes D. Brown of Birmingham; two daughters, Lucy Brown Glover of Huntsville and Nina Brown Barrios of Tallahassee, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Paul Glover, Bob Barrios, Joe Spradlin, Richard Walthall, Dr. Patrick E. Crow, Roberto Barrios and Allen Shariett.

Memorials may be made to the Big Oak Ranch.

Jesse Woodrow Cobb
82, Harvest Feed Mill owner

ARDMORE -- Funeral for Jesse Woodrow Cobb, 82, of Ardmore, Tenn., was Sunday at Ardmore Funeral Home with Sammy Brister and Wheeler Kidd officiating.

Burial was in Huntsville Memory Gardens.

Mr. Cobb died Friday, March 24, 2000, at Crestwood Hospital in Huntsville. He was born Aug. 9, 1917, in Alabama. He was a Baptist and owner of Harvest Feed Mill.

He is survived by two daughters, Dian Henderson of Ardmore, Tenn., and Mickie Lowery of Harvest; four brothers, Boyd Cobb of Chattanooga, James Cobb of Harvest, Ed Cobb and Ben Cobb, both of Huntsville; four sisters, Ruth Cluts of Capshaw, Doris Coward of Harvest, Louise Wyatt of Texas and Jean Smith of Louisville, Ky.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Rhoda Estes
79, homemaker

CULLMAN -- Funeral for Rhoda Estes, 79, of Eva will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home with Aubra Gable officiating.

Mrs. Estes died Saturday, March 25, 2000, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Jan. 3, 1921, in Randolph County to Mack and Josie Craft Hill. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Albert D. Estes of Falkville; one daughter, Shirley Francis of Eva; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Hettie Scott Fleming
94, homemaker

RUSSELLVILLE -- Funeral for Hettie Scott Fleming, 94, of Hodges will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home with Carl McHenry and James Nichols officiating.

Burial will be in Old Line Cemetery in Hodges. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Fleming died Sunday, March 26, 2000, at Terrace Manor Nursing Home in Russellville. She was born July 29, 1905, in Franklin County. She was a homemaker and a member of Hodges First Missionary Baptist Church. She was the widow of Lee V. Fleming and the mother of the late Rachel West and Imogene Graham.

She is survived by four sons, Edward Fleming of Hodges, Dallie Fleming and L.V. Fleming, both of Decatur, and Mack Fleming of Haleyville; two daughters, Iva Fredrick and Marvelene Robinson, both of Hackleburg; three brothers, Marlin Scott of Arkansas, Clyde Scott and Athel Scott, both of Russellville; 20 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

Harvey Thurman Jetton
68, machine operator

MOULTON -- Funeral for Harvey Thurman Jetton, 68, of Moulton was to be today at 4 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Wayne Bemgart officiating.

Burial was to be in Cheatham Cemetery.

Mr. Jetton died Friday, March 24, 2000, in Hamilton. He was born Aug. 10, 1931, in Tennessee. He was a retired machine operator for Littrell Lumber Co.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Jetton; three sons, Tommy Jetton and Max Jetton, both of Moulton, and Teddy Jetton of Hillsboro; three daughters, Shirley Vinson and Wanda Dutton, both of Moulton, and Janice Jetton of Memphis; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were to be Mike Swain, Jack McMillian, Devon Jetton, Tony Vinson, Josh Jetton and Kenneth Peters.

Walter Lee Kelley

Funeral arrangements for Walter Lee Kelley, 55, of Decatur, who died Sunday, March 26, 2000, at his home, will be announced by Sharpley Funeral Home.

Kimberly Sue Lackey

Mrs. Lackey died Saturday, March 25, 2000, in Oneonta. She was born Jan. 25, 1967, in California to Richard and Carol Ann Campoy Ernst. She was a member of Holy Church of Christ in Hartselle and the mother of the late Credy Max Lackey.

She is survived by her husband, Credy Darrell Lackey; one son, Darrell Justin Lackey of Somerville; one daughter, Chrystal Carol Ann Lackey of Somerville; one stepdaughter, Christy Blankenship of Somerville; her father of Manteca, Calif.; two brothers, Ricky Ernst and Jimmy Dean of Manteca; and one sister, Kathy Boone of Manteca.

Pallbearers will be Eric Prater, Tim Johnson, Ronnie McGill, Rickey Conley, Rickey Ernst, Thomas Lackey and Tommy Lackey.
