Burial will be in Hatchett Cemetery with People's Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Russell died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. He was born July 23, 1929, in Morgan County. He retired from Sweet Sue Kitchens in Athens and was a member of Little Ezekiel Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Russell; one son, James A. Russell III of Athens; and two daughters, Evelyn Denise Foster and Mae Katherine Mosley, both of Athens.

ATHENS -- Graveside service for the infant son of Scott and Christy Tucker of Athens was to be today at 2 p.m. at Ripley Cemetery with Bryan McIntyre officiating and Spry Funeral Home directing.
The baby was died Saturday, April 8, 2000, the day of his birth, at Decatur General Hospital. He is survived by his parents; his grandparents, Wilda Davis and Andy and Janice King, all of Athens, and Bill Tucker of Manchester, Tenn.; and his great-grandparents, Paul and Marjorie Black of Athens.

Mr. Wigginton died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at Parkway Medical Center. He was born Oct. 26, 1916, in Morgan County to George and Cora Crowner Wigginton. He was a retired equipment operator for Morgan County.
He is survived by one son, James R. Wigginton of Vinemont; one daughter, Hazel Bowling of Hartselle; one sister, Lucille Henry of Ponotoc, Miss.; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Pat Hitt, David Majors, Larry West, Charles Wigginton, Robin Wigginton and Floyd Wigginton Jr.

Funeral for Percy Fennell Garnett, 69, of Florence will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Archie Hampton officiating.
Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Garnett died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at Eliza Memorial Coffee Hospital in Florence. He was born March 19, 1931, in Decatur to John and Mildred Garnett. He received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Vanderbilt University and a master's degree at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky. He was past chaplain of Kentucky Children's Home and had been a Baptist pastor in Troy, Uniontown, Perryville, Ky., and Limestone County. He also was in business with his father at Allied Sales Co. in Decatur.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne Garnett; and three sisters, Martha Russell of Florence and Paula Russell and Brenda Cooper, both of Decatur.
Nephews and cousins will be pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to the building fund at First Baptist Church of Florence.

Mrs. Hudgins died Wednesday, April 12, 2000, at Summerford Nursing Home in Falkville. She was born June 12, 1913, in Tennessee to Franklin Evan and Buna Mae Johnson Goad. She was a homemaker and member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church. She was the widow of Homer Foote and the mother of the late Howard Foote.
She is survived by three sons, Willie B. Foote of Hartselle, Richard Foote of Moulton and Jerry Foote of Decatur; seven daughters, Lillie Goad, Alenda Sims, Debbie Miller and Frances Shaneyfelt, all of Hartselle, Helen Johnson of Falkville, Faye Richards of Decatur and Peggy Harvel of Sylacauga; one brother, Leon Hardy of Michigan; three sisters, Sue Yearington, Marilyn Baker and Linda Bertog, all of Michigan; 27 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She is survived by three sisters, Myrtle Bell Tittle Webb of Lanett, Ruby Lois Dorothy Houze of Jacksonville, Fla., and Ethel Grace Barron of Columbus, Ga.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Memorial service for Lydia "Pete" Munroe Hobson, 78, of Chapel Hill, formerly of Decatur, will be today at 2 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Reconciliation in Chapel Hill.
Mrs. Hobson died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, in Chapel Hill. She was born March 15, 1922, in Richmond, Va., to Harry and Lois Munroe. She lived with her parents in Japan until age 14. She graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 1943 and did graduate studies in religion. She married Patrick H. Hobson in 1947. The Hobsons were former Decatur residents and members of First Presbyterian Church. She was a founding member of the Presbyterian Church of Reconciliation in Chapel Hill and served as an elder and many other church positions for more than 30 years.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, Henry Hobson of Sparta, N.C., Ed Hobson of Seattle and Ken Hobson of Christchurch, New Zealand; one daughter, Shirley Colpitts of Durham, N.C.; two sisters, Lois "Toi" Glasgow of Black Mountain, N.C., and Jean Crothers of Hermiston, Ore.; and five grandchildren.
