HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Cecil D. Steele, 70, of Danville will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Willie Dellashaw and the Rev. Dale Staggs officiating.

Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Steele died Friday, June 30, 2000, at his home. He was born Dec. 27, 1929, in Morgan County to Jack Steele and Fannie Garnett Steele. He was a member of Penn Church of God and a retired warehouse foreman for Gold Kist Co.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Steele; two sons, Ricky Steele and Phillip Steele, both of Danville; one daughter, Debbie Steele Heatherly of Danville; four brothers, Emmett Steele and Dewey Steele, both of Danville, Johnny Steele of Ohio and Earnest Steele of Morris; one sister, Odie Lawrence of Danville; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Carey Heatherly, Andrew Heatherly, Shane Steele, Patrick Cheatham, Danny Prater and Jimmy Steele.

Stanley Troy Waldrep
71, barber

TRINITY -- Funeral for Stanley Troy Waldrep, 71, of Moulton will be today at 2 p.m. at Pine Grove Holy Church of Christ with the Rev. Waymon Ashley and the Rev. Keith Jones officiating.

Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery with Parkway Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Waldrep died Friday, June 30, 2000, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. He was born June 29, 1929, in Lawrence County to Luther Waldrep and Missouri Waldrep. He was a deacon and Sunday school teacher at Pine Grove Holy Church of Christ. He was a barber and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Mattie Sue Warren Waldrep; two sons, Bobby Mack Waldrep and Ricky Glenn Waldrep, both of Moulton; one daughter, Linda Waldrep Reeves of Somerville; two brothers, Elliott J. Waldrep of Florence and Franklin David Waldrep of Trinity; four sisters, Bonnie Louise Rilley and Barbara Ann Balwin, both of Florence, and Gloria Wynell Hall and Hazel Hope Hall, both of Trinity; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be David Waldrep, David Bowden, Darren Waldrep, J.B. Blaxton, Jeff Hall and Carlos Hall.

Niki Michelle West
Infant

Graveside service for infant Niki Michelle West of Decatur will be Monday at 5 p.m. at Enon Cemetery with the Rev. Chuck Smith officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends today from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

She died Friday, June 30, 2000, the day of her birth, at Decatur General Hospital.

She is survived by her father, Nat West of Decatur; her mother, Mindi Colwell of Decatur; her grandparents, Larry and Terry Alexander of Speake, and Pam Colwell and Charles Cooper, both of Decatur; and her great-grandmother, Nancy Rye of Mount Pleasant, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Michael Colwell, Matthew Colwell, Michael Reese and John Paul Puckett.

Inez H. White
84, Sugar Creek Farms owner

ATHENS -- Funeral for Inez H. White, 84, of Lester will be Monday at 4 p.m. at Hester's Chapel Church of Christ with Richard Durham officiating.

Burial will be in Hester's Chapel Cemetery with Limestone Chapel Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.

Mrs. White died Saturday, July 1, 2000, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born May 11, 1916, in Limestone County. She was the owner of Sugar Creek Farms and a member of Hester's Chapel Church of Christ. She was the widow of Ben Hooper White.

She is survived by two daughters, Ann Inman of Franklin, Tenn., and Nancy Haney of Decatur; two sisters, Betty Harwell of Huntsville and Dorothy Helums of Ardmore, Tenn.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mike Blakely, Bobby McCormack, Randy Bates, Jimmy Haraway, Albert Haraway and Donnie Helums.

Gladys Lang
71, homemaker

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Gladys Lang, 71, of Talucah will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Valhermoso Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 9 at the funeral home.

Ms. Lang died Saturday, July 1, 2000, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born Jan. 6, 1929, in Morgan County to William Bradford Lang and Lula Mae Thompson Lang. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Randy Lang of Talucah; three brothers, Jerry Lang of Talucah, William Lang of Lacey's Spring and Carl Lang of Decatur; and one sister, Martha Lee Eubanks of Prince George, Va.

Roy E. Primeau
69, retired independent trucker

HUNTSVILLE -- Funeral for Roy E. Primeau, 69, of Lacey's Spring will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Twickenham Funeral Home South directing.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Primeau died Saturday, July 1, 2000, at his home. He was born July 26, 1930, in Ferndale, Mich. He was a retired independent trucker.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Primeau; five sons, Michael Primeau, Richard Primeau and John Primeau, all of Lacey's Spring, Roy Primeau Jr. of Huntsville, and Daniel Primeau of Hebbronville, Texas; one brother, Norman L. Primeau of Fort Myers Beach, Fla.; one sister, Christine Loudermilk of Green wood, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 216 Johnston St. S.E., Decatur, AL 35601.

Raymond Cleo Prince
77, U.S. Army veteran

Funeral for Raymond Cleo Prince, 77, of Trinity will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Center Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Prince died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at Parkway Medical Center. He was born Aug. 22, 1922, in Wayne County, Tenn. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served for 9½ years.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys Prince; one son, Raymond C. Prince Jr. of West Virginia; one daughter, Beverly Adams of Memphis; one stepson, Earl Reeves of Trinity; three stepdaughters, Martha Watkins of Somerville, Linda Ricketts of Flora City, Fla., and Faye Moore of Decatur; three brothers, Eudeen Prince, Hoyt Prince and Edward Prince, all of Russellville; and three sisters, Madgie Prince of Sheffield, Inez King of Ohio and Beatrice Prince of Russellville.

Pallbearers will be Jep Tallent, Jimmy Reeds, Blake Dozier, Bobby Cravens, Brandon Davis and Wayne Brooks.

Burial was to be in Bottom Cemetery.

Mrs. Wigginton died Saturday, July 1, 2000, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born May 16, 1924, in Giles County, Tenn. She was a homemaker and a member of Holt Road Baptist Church. She was the widow of Thomas M. Wigginton and the mother of the late Douglas R. Wigginton.

She is survived by one son, Thomas E. Wigginton of Athens; one daughter, Judith A. Cook of Anderson; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren, and 14 step great-grand-children.

Pallbearers will be Al Freeman, Junior Long, Nathan Wallace, Brandon Wallace, James Marlow and Wayne Marlow.

Martin Hoyt Bonner Jr.
68, retired supervisor
HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Martin Hoyt Bonner Jr., 68, of Hartselle will be today at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Redfearn officiating.

Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery.

Mr. Bonner died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Nov. 24, 1931, in Talladega. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of West Hartselle Baptist Church. He was an Eagle Scout, a graduate of Auburn University and a retired 3M supervisor. He was the father of the late Greg Bonner.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Simpson Bonner; two sons, James "Jimmy" Hoyt Bonner of Falkville and Courtney Bonner of Columbia, Tenn.; two grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Fred Phillips, Gordon Atkins, Charles Nolen, Theron Breeding, Solomon Johnson and George Weatherford.

Members of the Granvill Woodruff Sunday school class will be honorary pallbearers.

Eugene Cross
80, Wolverine Tube Inc. retiree

EDMOND, Okla. -- Memorial service for Eugene Cross, 80, of Edmond, formerly of Decatur, will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Baggerly Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Cross died Sunday, July 2, 2000. He was born March 28, 1920, in Lawrence County to John Henry Cross and Vera Moran Cross. He was retired from Wolverine Tube Inc., where he worked for more than 30 years. He was a deacon and Sunday school superintendent at Central Baptist Church in Decatur. He moved to Oklahoma in 1990.

He is survived by his wife, Clara Cross; three sons, Steve Cross, David Cross and Andy Cross, all of Oklahoma; one daughter, Beth Hammons of Oklahoma; one brother, Enos Cross of Decatur; two sisters, Catherine Flannagin of Leighton and Stella Moss of Muscle Shoals; and eight grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Jimmy Hodges Ministries International or Boys Ranch Town of Edmond.
