TRINITY -- Funeral for Floyd Thomas McLemore, 43, of Decatur will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Old Moulton Road Holy Church of Christ with Jimmy Ricketts officiating.

Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens with Parkway Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. McLemore died Thursday, July 6, 2000, at his home. He was born Feb. 4, 1957, in Paw Paw, Mich., to James F. McLemore and Jessie M. McLemore. He was a janitor at Parkway Medical Center and attended Old Moulton Road Holy Church of Christ.

He is survived by three sisters, Willodean Stewart of Hillsboro, Frances M. Terry of Decatur and Debbie Landers of Trinity.

Pallbearers will be John R. Landers, James L. Terry, Donald L. Stewart Jr., Chad Horton, Wesley Hardin and Jeremy Hardin.

James R. Dempster
75, Redstone Arsenal retiree

Funeral for James R. Dempster, 75, of Decatur will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Brady McCullough officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Dempster died Friday, July 7, 2000, at University of Alabama Hospital at Birmingham. He was born Oct. 10, 1924, in Decatur, Ill., to John Dallas Dempster and Mable Hutton Dempster. He was retired from Redstone Arsenal Test Area I and was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Pat A. Dempster; two sons, Robert A. "Bob" Dempster of Decatur and D. Mark Dempster of Springfield, Ill.; one daughter, Jackie Hinz of Trinity; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Winnie Fedusenko
71, homemaker

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Winnie Fedusenko, 71, of Hartselle will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home with Elder Conn Arnold officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Fedusenko died Saturday, July 8, 2000, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Oct. 19, 1928, in Newfou, Canada, to Azairah Curtis and Elizabeth Curtis. She was a homemaker and a member of Oakwood College Seventh-day Adventist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Fedusenko; three sons, Robert Fedusenko of Huntsville, David Fedusenko of Miami and James Fedusenko of Beach Grove, Tenn.; one brother, Roy Curtis of Ontario, Canada; one sister, Violet Prouty of Ontario; and nine grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Robert Fedusenko, David Fedusenko, James Fedusenko, Jason Fedusenko, James Fedusenko and Mic Fedusenko.

Memorials may be made to Pathfinders Club, 700 Adventist Blvd., Huntsville, AL 35806.

Eugene Brandon Green haw
89, retiree

ATHENS -- Funeral for Eugene Brandon Green haw, 89, of Florence will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Kretzer officiating.

Burial will be in Athens Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Green haw died Friday, July 7, 2000, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence. He was born June 28, 1911, in Lauderdale County to Thomas Green haw and Virginia Ellen Gullett Green haw. He was a World War II Army veteran, a member of First Christian Church in Athens and was retired from Sunbeam Bakery.

He is survived by one son, Joe Brandon Green haw of Athens; two daughters, Betty Tidwell and Joyce Springer, both of Florence; one stepson, Gene Neal of Panama City Beach, Fla.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Phillip May, Junior Garner, Lanny Hatfield, Steve Springer, Glenn Springer and Dennis Springer.

Jo Marie Lenz
79, retired nurse's aide

Funeral for Jo Marie Lenz, 79, of Decatur will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Sandra Locke-Godbey officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lenz died Friday, July 7, 2000, at Sun Bridge Health Care Center in Decatur. She was born June 21, 1921, in Port Arthur, Texas, to Joe Gallieo and Katie Abbott Rowe. She was a Baptist and retired nurse's aide.

She is survived by three sons, Dennis G. Rehders of Austin, Texas, Michael V. Lenz of Washougal, Washington, and James O. Lenz of Decatur; one daughter, Desser May Buford of Bridge City, Texas; one brother, Sam Gallier of Grove, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Michael Lenz, Sandra Lenz, Jimmy Lenz, Jamie Lenz, Shane Hammon and Todd Sutton.

Lottie Belle McCutcheon McGee
70, retired housekeeper

PRICEVILLE -- Funeral for Lottie Belle McCutcheon McGee, 70, of Decatur will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Priceville Church of Christ with Bobby South officiating.

Burial will be in Center Springs Cemetery with Priceville Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.

Ms. McGee died Friday, July 7, 2000, at her home. She was born June 18, 1930, in Morgan County to John Cleveland McCutcheon and Crucie Johnston McCutcheon. She was a member of Priceville Church of Christ and a retired housekeeper for the Lurleen B. Wallace Developmental Center.

She is survived by one son, Danny Keith McGee of Somerville; one daughter, Diann McGee Halbrooks Pate of Somerville; two brothers, Johnnie McCutcheon and Troy McCutcheon, both of Somerville; one sister, Alma Henderson of Nashville; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Carla Jean Sumerel Mitchell
41, bookkeeper

Funeral for Carla Jean Sumerel Mitchell, 41, of Decatur will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Hugh Bolin officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mitchell died Saturday, July 8, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Sept. 22, 1958, in Chicago to John J. Sumerel Jr. and Betty F. Sumerel. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper for Bobby Mitchell Tree Service. She was a 1976 graduate of Austin High School and was formerly the secretary for Clint and Sherrie Brown's law office.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Mitchell; one son, Allen Mitchell; her parents of Decatur; two brothers, John J. Sumerel III of Decatur and Robert D. Sumerel of Moulton; one sister, Patricia M. Sumerel Young of Decatur; and her grandmother, Lena M. Sumerel of Russellville.

Pallbearers will be Dean Mitchell, Tim Patterson, Bruce Young, Dale Milligan, Gary Cheathan and George Little.

Henry Roland Pridmore
62, retired salesman

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Henry Roland Pridmore, 62, of Oden Ridge will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Vincent and Ken Burcham officiating.

Burial will be in Oden Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Pridmore died Friday, July 7, 2000, at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham. He was born Feb. 16, 1938, in Morgan County to Gordon Pridmore and Claris Briscoe Pridmore. He was a member of Mount View Baptist Church and a retired route salesman for Golden Flake Potato Chip Co. He was the brother of the late Gordon "Corky" Pridmore Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Gilchrist Pridmore; two daughters, Sandra Catoe of Tuscaloosa and Angie Tucker of Eva; two brothers, Don Pridmore of Toney and Butch Pridmore of Cullman; two sisters, Mary Grace Henry of Somerville and Martha Sue Shelton of Eva; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Phil Gilchrist, Pryor Gilchrist, Skeggs Gilchrist, Wendall Holmes, Kenneth Murphee and Bobby Drinkard.

Ira Proctor
81, retired farmer

MOULTON -- Funeral for Ira Proctor, 81, of Moulton will be today at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Wendell Bennett officiating.

Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.

Mr. Proctor died Saturday, July 8, 2000, at his home. He was born July 25, 1918, in Lawrence County to Arza Lee Proctor and Emer Lou Proctor. He was a retired farmer and a member of Harmony Baptist Church. He was the widower of Willie Myrl Welborn Proctor.

He is survived by six sons, Orbin Proctor, Johnny Proctor, Donald Proctor and Frank Proctor, all of Moulton, Wendell Proctor of Hillsboro and Dewayne Proctor of Anderson; three daughters, Wanda Purser and Teresa Oliver, both of Moulton, and Gearl Burton of Trinity; two brothers, Leon Proctor and Rubert Proctor, both of Moulton; one sister, Carrie Alred of Trinity; 20 grandchildren; and 25 great- grandchildren.

Grandsons will be pallbearers.

Myrtle L.Shaddrix
84, homemaker

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Myrtle L. Shaddrix, 84, of Trinity will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Truman Shaddrix officiating.

Burial will be in Somerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Shaddrix died Saturday, July 8, 2000, at her home. She was born June 22, 1916, in Morgan County to Zack Turner and Clara Turner. She was a Baptist and homemaker.

She is survived by four sons, Truman Shaddrix, Dwight Shaddrix, Dwayne Shaddrix and Carl Shaddrix, all of Hartselle; seven daughters, Betty Blackwood and Carol Carden, both of Somerville, Faytean Cryer of Decatur, Nadine Montgomery of Moulton, Marvalene Rusk of Cullman, Geradene Smith of Falkville and Vickie Steele of Holly Pond; 26 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Grandsons will be pallbearers.

Pearl Puett Yelton
88, educator

BOSTIC, N.C. -- Funeral for Pearl Puett Yelton, 88, of Marion, N.C., will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Cane Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl Waters and the Rev. Lance Scarlett officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery with Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.

Mrs. Yelton died Saturday, July 8, 2000, at her home. She was born in Burke County, N.C., to George Puett and Ada Wilson Puett. She was a graduate of Mars Hill College and earned her bachelor of arts degree from Lenoir College in 1954. She taught in Decatur and in North Carolina counties.

She is survived by her husband, Everett Yelton; one brother, John Puett of Huntersville, N.C.; and two sisters, Irene Hutchins of Morgantown and Edna Puett of Cherryville.

Onel V. Horton
86, retired USDA employee

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Onel V. Horton, 86, of Hartselle will be Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Bailey and the Rev. Lyndon Montgomery officiating.

Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery south of Danville. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Horton died Saturday, July 8, 2000, at his home. He was born May 8, 1914, in Arkansas to Perry Green berry Horton and Maude Clancey Melton Horton.

He was the widower of Hilda Jervis Horton and brother of the late Conley Horton, Flora Horton and Fleacie Horton.

Mr. Horton attended Danville Baptist Church. He was a World War II veteran of the European Theater in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force, a 32nd degree Mason and a graduate of the University of Arkansas. He retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture after 30 years.

He is survived by one daughter, Margaret Pope of Hartselle; three sisters, Mattie Raye Horton of Harrison, Ark., and Tabitha Horton and Pervie Horton, both of Marshall, Ark.; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tim Baker, Bob Evans, Dan Evans, Andy Lamb, Ben Lamb, Patrick Lamb and Will Steel.
