CULLMAN -- Funeral for Florene Evelyn Headrick, 79, of Cullman will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Williams-McCracken Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeri Hunt and the Rev. Hayes Oliver officiating.

Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Headrick died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at Woodland Village Health Care. She was born May 16, 1921, in Blount County to Martin Leroy Dean and Daisey Harding Dean. She was a saleswoman for World Book.

Survivors include one son, James C. Headrick Jr. of Hartselle; one daughter, Sandra Fulenwider of Cullman; four sisters, Ethel Howard of Cullman, Dorothy Davis of Vinemont, Beulah Hunt of Gardendale and Thena Pearl Groover of Decatur; three grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Wanda Keel
45, homemaker

MOULTON -- Funeral for Wanda Keel, 45, of Danville will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Willie Delashaw officiating.

Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Keel died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at home. She was born June 1, 1955, in Morgan County. She was a homemaker and a member of Lebanon Church of God. She was the daughter of the late John Holt.

Survivors include one son, Brandon DeVaney of Huntsville; two daughters, Dawn LeeAnn Keel of Vernon, Fla., and Amber Keel of Dothan; her mother, Doris Slattery of Danville; one brother, Johnnie Holt of Danville; her grandmother, Bessie McMillian of Danville; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Smith, Corey Faley, David DeVaney, Bob Huffines, James DeVaney and Don Alexander.

Herschel Olaf Leigh
92, retired teacher

MOULTON -- Funeral for Herschel Olaf Leigh, 92, of Moulton will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Moulton Church of Christ with Bill Becker officiating.

Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens with Elliott Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church.

Mr. Leigh died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. He was born April 14, 1908, in Lawrence County. He was a retired teacher for Lawrence County Schools and a member of Moulton Church of Christ.

He is survived by one daughter, Barbara Simms of Huntsville; one sister, Adelle Leigh of Moulton; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Elders and deacons of Moulton Church of Christ will be pallbearers.

Edward Allen Meadows
54, former peace officer

ATHENS -- Funeral for Edward Allen Meadows, 54, of Athens will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Smith officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Meadows died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Jan. 1, 1946, in Athens. He was a Little League coach, a member of First Christian Church, a former Elkmont police officer and a former reserve deputy sheriff for the Limestone County Sheriff's Department.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann Meadows; one daughter, Pattie Ann Gurney of Hartselle; one stepdaughter, Tonya Marie Miller of Athens; one brother, William Ronald Meadows of Athens; two sisters, Nancy Meadows Owen of Athens and Patsy Meadows Chapman of Anderson; and five grandchildren.

Beverly D. Stanford
43, homemaker

ATHENS -- Funeral for Beverly D. Stanford, 43, of Lester will be today at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with the Rev. Chuck Hood officiating.

Burial will be in Hester's Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Stanford died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at home. She was born Dec. 3, 1956, in California. She was a homemaker, a member of Union Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church and president of Cumberland Presbyterian Women.

Survivors include her husband, Calvin Stanford; one son, Steve Stanford of Lester; one daughter, Mary Ward of Lester; one brother, Ralph Davis of Elkmont; one sister, Connie Craig of Lester; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Justin Craig, Travis Craig, Jeff Stanford, Jamie Stanford, Kelvin Stanford and Danny Wallace.

Clare Pendergrast Stenzel
41, student

Memorial service for Clare Pendergrast Stenzel, 41, of Arab will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Arab First Baptist Church with Paul Murphy and Max Roden officiating and Arab Memorial Chapel directing.

The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Stenzel died Monday, Nov. 20, 2000, at home. She was born Feb. 3, 1959, in Huntsville to David Shaw Pendergrast and June Reynolds Pendergrast. She was a 1977 graduate of Decatur High School and a student at Ohio University.

Survivors include one daughter, Chelsea Elizabeth Stenzel of Thiensville, Wis.; her parents of Arab; and two sisters, Laurie Mobley of Mobile and Lisa Cox of Hendersonville, Tenn.

Mary Elzia Thompson
71, homemaker

ATHENS -- Funeral for Mary Elzia Ridgeway Thompson, 71, of Athens will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jesse Littrell officiating.

Burial will be in Evans Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Thompson died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at home. She was born May 21, 1929, in Lauderdale County. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Leo Thompson; two sons, Barry Lee Thompson of Athens and Steven Leo Thompson of Somerville; three daughters, Sandra Jean Gatlin, Virginia Lynn Abernathy and Mary Elizabeth Ezell, all of Athens; four brothers, Delbert Ridgeway and Anthony Ridgeway, both of Anderson, James Ridgeway of Athens and Arnold Ridgeway of Town Creek; five sisters, Willa Mae Parks and Peggy Romine, both of Indianapolis, Tina Leudeke of Anderson, Nita Nicholson of Trinity and Shirley Roden of Town Creek; and 10 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Zach Thompson, Gabe Abernathy, Jeremey Gatlin, James Ridgeway, Jacob Rupp, Kenny Thompson, Michael Mewbourne and David Ridgeway.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Athens-Limestone County.

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Lena Woodall, 84, of Cullman will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Oak Ridge United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Wright officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.

Mrs. Woodall died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born July 3, 1916, in Lawrence County to William Henry Hardin and Mary Elizabeth Praytor Hardin. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one daughter, Betty Grant of Little Rock, Ark.; two sisters, Grace Slaten of Eva and Sarah Lawrence of Michigan; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Billy Hardin, Tommy Hardin, Byron Slaten, Jason Slaten, Joel Slaten and Kenneth Slaten.

Betty Crowe
61, Wayne Poultry worker

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Betty Crowe, 61, of Falkville will be today at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Allen Compton officiating.

Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.

Mrs. Crowe died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation of Decatur. She was born Sept. 6, 1939, in Georgia to Herman and Estelle Hall. She was an employee of Wayne Poultry.

Survivors include one son, Roy Lee Crowe of Falkville; one daughter, Linda Woodruff of Russellville; five brothers; four sisters; and one grandchild.

Nephews will be pallbearers.

Lillie Bell Dobbins
91, homemaker

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Lillie Bell Dobbins, 91, of Hartselle will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Campbell and the Rev. Wendell Callahan officiating.

Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dobbins died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born June 30, 1909, in Jackson County to James Wiley Peters and Millie Stewart Peters. She was a homemaker and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She was the widow of Ora Dobbins and the mother of the late J.T. Dobbins.

Survivors include one son, Bobby Dobbins of Hartselle; one daughter, Billie Rogers Hembree of Hartselle; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Freddy Hembree, Mickey Hembree, Michael Hembree, Jimmy Dobbins, Patrick Dobbins and Josh Hembree.

Clara P. Fagan
98, nurse's aide

Funeral for Clara P. Fagan, 98, of Trinity will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with Bobby Robinson and Bobby Graham officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Fagan died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born June 17, 1902, in Lawrence County to Postell and Anna Terry Parham. She was the oldest member of the Church of Christ at Trinity and was a nurse's aide at the former Baugh-Wiley-Smith Hospital. She was the widow of Leonard A. Fagan and the mother of the late Christian Fagan Roberts.

Survivors include one son, Shelly C. Fagan of Trinity; two daughters, Francis Taylor of Mobile and Lois Turner of Decatur; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Randall Lamon, Deverl Lamon, Jerry McCaghren, William Lee, Kenny Turner and Norman "Bucky" Sims.

Bud 'Dado' Garnett
64, park coordinator

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Bud "Dado" Garnett, 64, of Falkville will be today at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Hood officiating.

Burial will be in Herring Cemetery.

Mr. Garnett died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born March 19, 1936, in Morgan County to Frank B. Garnett and Minnie Lee McDaniel Garnett. He was a retired chemical operator for Amoco Chemical Co. in Decatur. He was a Baptist and was active in a nursing home ministry at Falkville Healthcare Center. He was park coordinator for Morgan County Park and Recreation's South Park in Falkville.

Survivors include his wife, Maudie Bates Garnett; one son, Jim Garnett of Falkville; three daughters, Teresa Dougherty of Falkville, Ellen Nickles and Pamela Thompson, both of Hartselle; two brothers, Walker Garnett of Peoria, Ill., and Hillard Garnett of Falkville; one sister, Betty Maxwell of Falkville; and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Don Stisher, Mike Garnett, Chris Garnett, Robert Simpson, Bill Garnett and Jim Richason.

Perry William Martin
40, General Motors employee

Funeral for Perry William Martin, 40, of Detroit will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Mount Zion Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Mooresville with the Rev. Woodrow Kirby officiating.

Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Madison with Sharpley Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Martin died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at home. He was born March 19, 1960, in Madison. In Detroit, he worked at the General Motors plant and attended Providence Baptist Church, where he was a member of the choir. He was the grandson of the late Roosevelt Verge Sr. and Annie Sandifer Verge.

Survivors include one daughter, Crystal Diane Martin of Tennessee; his father, Columbus Martin of Huntsville; his mother, Myrtle Martin of Detroit; two brothers, Alex Eugene Martin and Derek Martin, both of Detroit; one sister, Lois McTere of Detroit; and his grandparents, Cagen and Ada Martin of Triana.

Cousins will be pallbearers.
