Bettie Lorene Green

MOULTON -- Funeral for Bettie Lorene Green , 82, of Town Creek was to be today at 2 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church with Ray Phillips and Roger Lovelady officiating.

Burial was to be in Blackground Cemetery.

Mrs. Green died Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999, at her home. She was born Jan. 22, 1917, in Tennessee. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, James "Jim" Green of Town Creek; two sisters, Rhoda Lovelady of Town Creek and Early Davenport of Muscle Shoals; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Cecil McCrary, Leonard Lovelady, Alford Lovelady, James Lovelady, Vernon Williams and Bill Southern.

Wilburn 'Web' Harville
88, farmer

MOULTON -- Funeral for Wilburn "Web" Harville, 88, of Moulton will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Marion Chamness and the Rev. Steve Hood officiating.

Burial will be Rutherford Cemetery.

The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Harville died Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999, at his home. He was born Aug. 8, 1911, in Lawrence County. A farmer, he was a member and deacon at Gum Springs Baptist Church in Hatton. He was the father of the late Eula Mae Chamness.

He is survived by three sons, Kyle Harville and Lyle Harville, both of Moulton, and Dyle Harville of Mount Hope; four daughters, Jeaner Lambert of Courtland, Faye Hand of Town Creek, and Dean Randolph and Daphane Hood, both of Moulton; one brother, Dyars Harville of Town Creek; 30 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and 11 great great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dwayne Harville, Roger Hand, Jackie Hood, Shawn Harville, C.J. Dutton, Devon Randolph, Marion Chamness and Joey Harville.

Jimmy Hitt

Funeral arrangements for Jimmy Hitt, 36, of Decatur, who died Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999, at Huntsville Hospital, will be announced by Roselawn Funeral Home.

Harold Keuhnert

Funeral arrangements for Harold Keuhnert of Decatur, who died Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999, at his home, will be announced by Roselawn Funeral Home.

Randall Kiefer

Funeral arrangements for Randall S. Kiefer, 50, of Decatur, who died Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999, will be announced by Shelton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday night at the funeral home from 6 to 8.

Willie Bee LeMay
72, retired seamstress

ATHENS -- Memorial service for Willie Bee LeMay, 72, of Athens will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home.

Mrs. LeMay died Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999, at Limestone Health Facility. She was born Dec. 14, 1926, in Hartselle. She was a resident of Limestone County since 1928 and a member of First Baptist Church in Athens. She retired as a seamstress from Athens Lingerie after 34 years of service. She was the widow of Howard Wesley LeMay and mother of the late James Howard LeMay.

She is survived by one son, David Harold LeMay of Huntsville; one daughter, Frances Jane Vinson of Athens; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Deanna Lynn LaRocque Lowe
27, student

ONEONTA -- Funeral for Deanna Lynn LaRocque Lowe, 27, of Falkville will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Lemley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bill Barnett officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight starting at 5:30 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lowe died Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999, in Morgan County. She was born June 17, 1972, in Michigan. She was a 1990 graduate of Oneonta High School and a graduate of Wallace State Community College. She was a student at Athens State University.

She is survived by her husband, J.R. Lowe; one son, James Trawick Thomas Lowe of Falkville; her parents, Tom and Judy LaRocque of Oneonta; and one brother, Tom R. LaRocque of Oneonta.

Ollie Mae Montgomery
88, homemaker

CHEROKEE -- Funeral for Ollie Mae Montgomery, 88, of Town Creek will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home with Jerrold Davis officiating.

Burial will be in Barton Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Montgomery died Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999, in Decatur. She was born Dec. 1, 1910, in Florence. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Town Creek. She was the widow of the late Orville T. Montgomery.

She is survived by one son, Truman H. Montgomery of Town Creek; one brother, William Hughes of Florence; one sister, Myrtle Haynes of Florence; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Haynes, Ivan Gray, Jimmy Davis, Gene Davis, Randy Waldrep and Chester Parker.

Frank Morgan
85, Department of Transportation retiree

Funeral for Frank Morgan, 85, of Decatur will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with Royce Teague officiating.

Burial will be in Caddo Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Morgan died Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999, at his home. He was born June 29, 1914, in Morgan County to Louis and Eva Morgan. He was a retired equipment operator with the Alabama Department of Transportation.

He is survived by his wife, Mable Gertrude Morgan; one brother, Redding Morgan of Priceville; and one sister, Dottie Wright of Decatur.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Wilbanks, Jimmy Wilbanks, Edward Wilbanks, Brian Wilbanks, Albert Vanwinkle and Josh Wilbanks.

Alice Lee Nix
70, retired machine operator

HARTSELLE -- Graveside service for Alice Lee Nix, 70, of Hartselle will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Hartselle Memory Gardens with Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Nix died Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Aug. 15, 1929, in Franklin County, and was retired from Rexnord Holding as a machine operator.

Mrs. Nix is survived by her husband, Earl Nix; one daughter, Bettye Curry of Lemont, Ill.; one sister, Mary Ann McKenzie, of Kansas City, Kan.; and one granddaughter.

Pallbearers will be Roland Nix, Mike Bice, Mark Nix, Charles Nix, Dennis Vinson and Eldridge Blackwood.

Murphy A. Sanders

Funeral arrangements for Murphy A. Sanders, 46, of Decatur, who died Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999, at Decatur General Hospital, will be announced by Sharpley Funeral Home.

Justin Earl Steadman
16, Hartselle High student

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Justin Earl Steadman, 16, of Hartselle was to be today at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeri Hunt officiating.

Burial was to be in Hartselle City Cemetery.

Mr. Steadman died Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999, in Hartselle. He was born May 12, 1983, in Morgan County and was a junior at Hartselle High School. He was the grandson of the late Julian Earl Steadman and Peggy Steadman, both of Moulton.

He is survived by his father, Roderick E. Steadman of Hartselle; his mother, Darlene Steadman of Hartselle; one sister, Brianna Steadman of Hartselle; his grandparents, Jack and Mary McMillan of Decatur, and Anthony and Kay Davis of Dothan.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Thompson, Joey Hardy, Brad Hyatt, Brandon Pylate, Nick Bartlett and David Flowers.

Michael Gregory Thom
27, dental lab technician

Graveside service for Michael Gregory Thom, 27, of Tampa, Fla., and formerly of Decatur, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with the Rev. W.K. Stephenson officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Thom died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 1999, at his home. He was born Jan. 4, 1972, in Decatur. He was a 1990 graduate of Austin High School and attended Auburn University. He was a dental laboratory technician and had a black belt in karate.

He is survived by his parents, Theodore and Geraldine Thom of Decatur; and one sister, Angela Kaye Thom of Decatur.
