Funeral for infant Nicholas Austin Wyant of Hartselle will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. William E. Suit officiating.

Burial will be in Burningtree Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

The infant died Monday, Jan. 1, 2001, the day of his birth, at Decatur General Hospital.

Survivors include his mother, Rhonda Davis of Decatur; his father, Michael Wyant of Victorsville, Calif.; his grandparents, Connie Sloan and Tommy Sloan of Hartselle, Ronnie Davis and Jean Davis of Cleveland, Tenn., Debby Mace and Mark Mace of Victorsville and Charlie Wyant of Indiana.

Lonie Blankenship

MOULTON -- Funeral for Lonie Blankenship, 93, of Moulton will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Owens Chapel Baptist Church with Clyde Goodlett and C.G. Reding officiating.

Burial will be in Owens Chapel Cemetery with Elliott Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. The body will be at the church one hour before service.

Mrs. Blankenship died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, at her home. She was born Dec. 20, 1907, in Morgan County to James Felix Pearson and Betty Flannigan Pearson. She was a homemaker and the widow of Elton Blankenship, the mother of the late Dorothy Nell Cagle and the great-grandmother of the late Hannah Smith.

Survivors include one son, Mitchell Blankenship; three brothers, James Lee Pearson of Killen, Texas, Harvey Pearson of Everett, Wash., and Bobby Pearson of Scottsboro; three sisters, Pearl Vance of Gadsden and Essie Flippo and Marie Campbell, both of Cullman; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Padgett, Gary Smith, Jim Blankenship, Derrick Blankenship, Rick Mc-Kie and Freddie Hood.

Clyde W. Burgett
80, retired Athens Street Department equipment operator

ATHENS -- Funeral for Clyde W. Burgett, 80, of Athens, was to be today at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with Greg Lauderback officiating.

Burial was to be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mr. Burgett died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, at his home. He was born July 12, 1920, in Lauderdale County. He was a retired equipment opertor for the Athens Street Department with 43 years of service. He was a member of West Highland Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Coleman Burgett; four daughters, Joan Carnevale of Richmond, Va., and Juanita Tyler, Nancy Burgett Garris and Marcella Eastep, all of Athens.

Pallbearers were to be Charles Owens, Clinton Campbell, Glenn Norris, Tony Norris, Herbert Miller and Hershel Austin.

Herman Lowell Dison
53, plumber

FLORENCE -- Funeral for Herman Lowell Dison, 53, of Killen will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home with the Rev. William Brewer and the Rev. John Riddle officiating.

Burial will be in Butler Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Dison died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. He was born Dec. 27, 1947, in Limestone County to James Hershel Dison and Dovie Harbin Dison. He worked as a plumber for the Florence City School system.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Dison of Killen; two daughters, Dana Tank of Killen and Donna Latchem of Florence; two brothers, Richard Dison of Elkmont and George "Junior" Dison of Rogersville; two sisters, Sue Newton and Cindy Gordon, both of Lexington; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Alan Dison, Windell Hutcheson, Jimmy Smith, James Atkinson, Ricky Peppers and Jason Moreland.

Memorials may be made to the Friendship Baptist Mission Team of Killen.

ATHENS -- Funeral arrangements for William Lonnie Fugate, 82, of Athens, who died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, at Athens-Limestone Hospital, will be announced by McConnell Funeral Home.

Geneva Garrison

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Geneva Garrison, 79, of Falkville will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mill Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. David Hale officiating.

Burial will be in Mountain Springs Cemetery in Winston County with Peck Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 4 p.m. until the time for the service.

Mrs. Garrison died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born July 11, 1922, in Morgan County, to Eugie Vest and Edna Susie Woodard Vest. Mrs. Garrison was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church. She was the sister of the late Paul Vest and Marlin Vest.

Survivors include her husband, William Joe Garrison; two sons, John Wayne Garrison of Semi Valley, Calif. and Bobby Joe Garrison of Falkville; one daughter, Jean Wilson of Falkville; one sister, Mildred Kelsoe of Hartselle; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James Bradford, Chris Edmondson, Josh Edmondson, James Garrison, James Hendrix, Rusty Hodges, Roger Kelsoe and Brian Merriman.

Tressa Mable Hamm
79, homemaker

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Funeral for Tressa Mable Hamm, 79, of Hattiesburg was to be today at 2 p.m. at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmie Garrard officiating.

Burial was to be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Petal, Miss.

Mrs. Hamm died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, at Hattiesburg Convalescent Center. She was born Sept. 2, 1921, in Green e County, Miss., to George Walley and Mary Hutto Walley. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Petal. She lived in Gulfport, Miss., for more than 40 years.

Survivors include two sons, Larry D. Hamm of Elkmont and Rick Hamm of Petal; one brother, George "Lindy" Walley of Buffalo, Mo.; and three grandchildren.

HARTSELLE -- Funeral services for Christeen Hill, 76, of Falkville, who died today, Jan. 5, 2001 at her home, will be announced by Peck Funeral Home.

ATHENS -- Funeral for Mark Dewayne Kyle, 34, of Toney, was to be today at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home with Rodney Britton and Guy McDaniel officiating.

Burial was to be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Kyle died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, in Madison County. He was born Dec. 18, 1966, in Limestone County. He was a business partner at Kyle Concrete Products and a Navy veteran. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include one son, Jamison Bradford Kyle of Meredianville; one daughter, Meagan Hope Kyle of Meredianville; his parents, James and Bertha Kyle of Athens; one brother, Mike Kyle of Athens; and his grandmother, Katie Kyle of Athens.

Pallbearers were to be Patrick Baugher, Phillip Barnett, Mark Slaton, Travis Lewter, Bryan Patterson and Johnny Pyron.

Vivian Adelle Leigh
87, retired teacher

MOULTON -- Graveside service for Vivian Adelle Leigh, 87, of Mount Hope will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mount Hope Methodist Cemetery with Bill Becker officiating and Elliott Funeral Home directing.

Miss Leigh died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. She was born April 10, 1913, in Lawrence County, to Paschel H. Leigh and Eula Ash Leigh, and was retired from the Lawrence County Board of Education as a schoolteacher after 42 years. She was the sister of the late Elsie Counts, Herbert Leigh and Herschel Leigh.

She is survived by one nephew, Johnny Counts of Hiedelburg, Germany; and four nieces, Sara Young of Athens, Sandra Davis of Haleyville, Barbara Simms of Brownsboro and Marsha Griffin of Montgomery.

Pallbearers were to be Jackson Davis, Russ Davis, Dwight Young, Greg Young, Tim Gilbert and Don Posey.

Annie Bell Sullivan

HUNTSVILLE -- Funeral for Annie Bell Sullivan, 89, of Huntsville will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at St. James Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Jones officiating.

Burial will be in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace with Royal Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.

Ms. Sullivan died Monday, Jan. 1, 2001, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Aug. 3, 1911, in Madison County. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Nathaniel Sullivan and William Barry Sulllivan, both of Huntsville; three daughters, Beatrice Morris of Decatur and Rosalyn Archie and Carolyn Sullivan, both of Huntsville; one brother, T.B. Sullivan of Chicago; 29 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and 35 great-great-grandchildren.

Dramer Irene Summerford

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Dramer Irene Summerford, 63, of Eva will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Cove Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Mayhan officiating.

Burial will be in Lawrence Cove Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. The body will be at the church one hour before services.

Mrs. Summerford died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Feb. 8, 1937, in Morgan County to John Mooney and Florence Taylor Mooney. She was a member of Hilltop Church of God and retired as a secretary.

Survivors include one son, Charles Randy Busby of Decatur; one daughter, Carolyn Bennefield of Eva; two brothers, Carlton Mooney of Pinson and Talmadge Mooney of Hartselle; one sister, Earsel Puckett of Eva; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Alverson, Rickey Greer, John Mooney, Bobby Tidwell, Jerry Puckett and John Shirey.

Allison Eugene West

ATHENS -- Funeral for Allison Eugene West, 70, of Ardmore, was to be today at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Ardmore with the Rev. Sammy Brister officiating.

Burial was to be in Gatlin Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home directing. The body will be in the church one hour before the service.

Mr. West died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born March 5, 1930, in Limestone County. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ardmore.

Survivors include one brother, Wade West of Pulaski, Tenn.; and five sisters, Rachel Ehrhard of Fort Myers Beach, Fla., Mary Kellum of Decatur, Joyce Novack of Naples, Fla., Martha Ostrowski of Wisconsin and Peggy Osorio of San Jose, Calif.

Members of the men's Sunday school class of Ardmore First Baptist Church were to be pallbearers.

Miss Cheatham died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at NHC Healthcare of Moulton. She was born April 5, 1912, in Lawrence County to Henry Alfred Cheatham and Delphia Sterling Cheatham. She was a retired home daycare provider and a member of Somerville Road Church of Christ.

Survivors include one brother, Gordon Cheatham of Decatur; and four sisters, Zella Cheatham, Louise Welborn, Sarah Osborn and Marie Moore, all of Decatur.
