Mrs. Terry died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at her home. She was born June 2, 1947, in Florence. She was an inspector for the U.S. Department of Agriculture and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was the widow of Dewey Terry and the daughter of A.E. Garner.
Survivors include five sons, Tim Terry, Scotty Terry, Kirk Terry, Tatum Terry and Zeke Terry, all of Trinity; her mother, Ruby Garner of Florence; two brothers, Dwight Garner and Eugene Garner, both of Florence; one sister, Janice Killen of Florence; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Edward Kevin O'Neill Byrne
CULLMAN -- Graveside service for Edward Kevin O'Neill Byrne, 31, of Decatur will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Cullman City Cemetery with Moss Service Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends 30 minutes before the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Byrne died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, in Cullman. He was born Oct. 24, 1969, in Morgan County.
Survivors include his wife, Felicia Moody Byrne; three sons, Dustin, Dave and Matt; one daughter, Latishia; his mother, June Sapp Byrne of Cullman; his father Ed O'Neill of Cullman; one sister, Tammy Deal of Jacksonville, Fla.

A graveside service at Bell Springs Cemetery will follow.
Mrs. Cunningham died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001, at Woodland Village Health Care in Cullman. She was born May 29, 1933, in Cullman to Andrew Coots and Lorel Shannon Roberts. She was employed as a cashier at Kmart. She was the widow of William King Cunningham and the mother of twin infant daughters who died at birth. She was the stepdaughter of Augie Roberts and the sister of Hubert Coots, Odis B. Coots and Jean Thomas. She was the stepsister of Gene Roberts and James Roberts.
Survivors include two stepsisters, Jo Wilson of Birmingham and Bobbie Anders of Hartselle.
Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Cullman or a favorite charity.
Courtney Bernard 'Sandy' Diamond

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Courtney Bernard "Sandy" Diamond, 56, of Valhermosa Springs will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Valhermosa Springs Holiness Church with the Rev. Melvin Brown and the Rev. Don Trosper officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be at the church for one hour before the service. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mr. Diamond died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, in Madison. He was born May 23, 1944, in Washington, D.C. He was retired as a baggage handler from Eastern Airlines and operated a boat known as U-371 on the Tennessee River.
Survivors include his parents, Howard Thompson and Betty Thompson of Valhermosa Springs; one daughter, Lesli Diamond of Haymarket, Va.; three brothers, Ricky Thompson and Gary Thompson, both of Valhermosa Springs, and Larry Thompson of Park City, Tenn.; two sisters, Wanda Thompson and Donna Roberts, both of Somerville; and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Farris died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, in Baycrest Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 2, 1912, in Walker County. She lived in Alabama most of her life but moved to Panama City several years ago. She was a homemaker and a retired seamstress who worked at Town and Country Cleaners in Decatur. She was a member of the St. Andrew Primitive Baptist Church and was an avid gardener. She was the widow of James C. Farris.
Survivors include one son, Dr. Billy R. Farris of Elba; one daughter, Elizabeth Hawkins of Panama City; one sister, Cervilla Newcomb of Kansas, Ala.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Price died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, at a local hospital. He was born May 22, 1927, in Bedford, Va. to H.K. and Mosetta Lankford Price . He worked in retail management with Sears and Montgomery Ward and managed "Mr. B's" in DeFuniak Springs for many years. He worked as chief of security for Perdue Farms for 20 years. He was a Master Mason of Escambia Lodge No. 15 and was a member of Bahia Shrine Temple of Orlando and the Scottish Rite in Pensacola. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, who served in World War II and a member of Glendale Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Jernigan Price ; one son, Gary Price of DeFuniak Springs; one daughter, Lisa Denson of Decatur; two sisters, Miriam Kirby of California and Dorthea Steinsiek of Pensacola, Fla.; and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Shaffer died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born June 22, 1925, in Morgan County to Newton Eugene Bailey and Annie Bell Childers Bailey. She was a homemaker and an original member of West End United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne A. Shaffer; one son, Gene Whitten of Decatur; four daughters, Mary Townsend of Decatur, Brenda Davis of Speake and Edna Halbrooks and Annette Shaffer, both of Hartselle; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Stewart died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001, at National Health Care. He was born Nov. 15, 1917, in Lawrence County to James Lewis Stewart and Maggie Stewart. He was a carpenter and a member of the New Antioch Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Stewart; two daughters, Melba Ferguson and Charlotte Holliday, both of Hillsboro; one brother, Hershel Stewart of Hillsboro; two sisters, Eva Kadlec of Decatur and Marie Moultrie of Moulton; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Survivors include one sister, Annie Mae Stinson of Falkville.

Steven Lynn Woodruff

DECATUR -- Funeral for Steven Lynn Woodruff, 45, of Decatur will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home.

Mr. Woodruff died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at University of Alabama Hospital at Birmingham. He was born July 27, 1955, in Decatur. He was a professor at Athens State University. He also taught at Judson College for three years, The University of Alabama at Birmingham for one year and Samford University for one year. He graduated from Austin High in 1973 and Vanderbilt University in 1977. He received a Ph.D. from The University of Alabama in 1996. He was a minister at Mount Olive Church of Christ in Fayette.
Survivors include his parents, Charles E. Woodruff and Sibyl Woodruff of Decatur; three brothers, Larry Woodruff, Ricky Woodruff and Rod Woodruff, all of Decatur; and his grandmother, Lillie Mae Woodruff of Decatur.
Pallbearers will be Hill Belew, Gary Linley, Randy Pressnell, Steve Blake, Branson Williams and Matt Woodruff.
