HOOVER -- Graveside service for James Alex Seale, 84, of Somerville will be Friday at 1 p.m. in Jefferson Memorial Gardens South in Hoover, with the Rev. Virgil R. Mulkin officiating.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Seale died Wednesday, May 2, 2001, at his home in Somerville. He was born Aug. 28, 1916, in St. Clair County to James E. Seale and Caldonia Hardin Seale. He was retired from U.S. Steel. He was a former Mason and member of Eastern Valley Baptist Church. He lived in Bibb and Jefferson counties before moving to the Decatur area.
Survivors include his wife, Johnie I. Seale; one daughter, Gail Sharpe of Somerville; two brothers, Howard Seale of Haiwassee, Ga., and George M. Seale of Homewood; two sisters, Jackie Seale of Homewood and Sally Echols of Shannon; and one grandson.

Mrs. Allen died at her sister's home Wednesday, May 2, 2001. She was born March 24, 1951, in Limestone Hospital. She was a member of Poplar Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She worked for Steelcase in Athens, an office furniture manufacturer.
Survivors include one daughter, Maria Harris of Athens; five brothers, Joe Petty, Billy Farrar, Charles Farrar and Ricky Farrar, all of Athens, and Henry Williams of Decatur; five sisters, Patricia Farrar, Doris Farrar, Bertha Farrar and Brenda Farrar, all of Athens, and Carolyn Farrar of Elkmont; and one grandchild.
Reba S. 'Nanny' Brown

Mrs. Brown died Wednesday, May 2, 2001, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born June 15, 1928, in Morgan County to William Claude Stephenson and Lizzie Stockton Stephenson. She was a seamstress and worked at a sewing factory. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She was the widow of John Brown and mother of the late Freddie Brown.
Survivors include two sons, Johnny Brown Jr. and Tommie Joe Brown, both of Hartselle; three daughters, Drue Marlow of Athens, Carol Wiley of Decatur and Jane McSpadden of Hartselle; one brother, John Stephenson of Falkville; four sisters, Vivian Suggs of Trinity, Sara Aldridge of Decatur, and Peggy Webster and Wanda Mullins, both of Hartselle; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were to be Charlie Hobson, John Hobson, Michael Nolen, Steven Smith, Donnie Lowery, Kris Nolen, Jon Wiley and Rich Wiley.

Mr. Holt died Thursday, May 3, 2001, at Parkway Medical Center. He was born June 1, 1937, in Decatur to James Holt and Willidean Able Holt. He was a retired insurance salesman from Mutual Savings and a longtime car salesman.
Survivors include two sons, Steve Holt of Falkville and David Holt of Hartselle; one daughter, Jacqueline Schlangen of Decatur; his mother of Decatur; one brother, Don Holt of Scottsboro; two sisters, Kathy Holt of Dallas and Barbara Fagan of Decatur; and eight grandchildren.

Mrs. Hopper died Wednesday, May 2, 2001, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born June 20, 1931, in Cullman to Jay Huffstutler and Edna Kyker Huffstutler. She worked in production at King Edward Co. She was the widow of Thurman R. Hopper and the sister of the late William Huffstutler.
Survivors include three sons, Mike Morgan, Jimmy R. Hopper and Ricky A. Hopper, all of Cullman; two brothers, Elmos Huffstutler and Bobby Huffstutler, both of Cullman; one sister, Thelma Brown of Cullman; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Wilson died Tuesday, May 1, 2001, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born May 23, 1911, in Madison County to Cleveland Mitchell and Pearl Fletcher Mitchell. A longtime resident of South Morgan Health Care Center, she was a member of Westside Baptist Church and was active in the Senior Companions ministry of Community Action Agency.
Survivors include seven cousins, including Rowe Lockhart of Decatur.

He died Wednesday, May 2, 2001, at Scottish Rite Children's Medical Center in Atlanta. He was born Dec. 5, 1984, in Georgia to Waymon S. Alexander and Jo Ann Walker Alexander. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and a sophomore at Danville High School. He was the grandson of the late Riggle S. Alexander, William O. Walker and Rachel Walker.
Survivors include his parents of Hartselle; and his grandmother, Estelle Alexander of Falkville.
Pallbearers will be Brian Alexander, Jeremy Alexander, Patrick Alexander, Mark Campbell, Ken Clark and Phillip Smith.
