Funeral for Stanley Cornelius Thatch, 30, of Mooresville will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Mount Zion Cumberland Presbyterian Church of America in Mooresville with the Rev. James Robinson officiating.
Burial will be in Thatch Cemetery with Reynolds Funeral Home directing. The body will be in the church one hour before the service.
Mr. Thatch died Thursday, June 14 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Dec. 22, 1970, in Morgan County to the Rev. John Thatch Jr. and Malinda Ellison Thatch. He was a member of Mount Zion CPCA and was in the Mount Zion Male Chorus, the Mount Zion Sanctuary Choir and the Mount Zion No. 1 Choir. He was a graduate of Tanner High School. He volunteered as a coach's assistant for Tanner High School's football and basketball teams.
Survivors include his father, the Rev. John Thatch Jr. of Mooresville; his stepmother, Helen Thatch of Mooresville; five brothers, Larry Thatch and Warren Thatch, both of Athens, Marvin Thatch of Harvest, Lowell Thatch of Tanner and Alfred Rainey of Mooresville; three sisters, Vera T. O'Maker and Tracee Cummings, both of Tanner, and Brenda Burke of Decatur; and one stepsister, Fannie Wade of Decatur.

Mrs. Bentley died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at her home. She was born April 15, 1937, in Morgan County to Virgil Monk and Dorothy Mae Evans Monk. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was employed by Diamond Jewelers and Jimmy Smith Jewelry, and was owner and operator of Jeanette's House of Gold in Decatur before moving to Birmingham in 1994.
Survivors include one daughter, Monica Parker Sfakianos of Birmingham; one sister, Mary Frances Holbert of Decatur; three brothers, Cecil D. Monk of Athens, Bobby D. Monk of Springville, and Larry G. Monk of Decatur.
Nephews will be pallbearers.

Mrs. Johnson died Monday, June 18, 2001, at her home. She was born Oct. 31, 1924, in Lawrence County to Thomas Borden and Bama Bradford Borden. She was a homemaker, a Baptist and the widow of Clayton Johnson and Cleveland Bunnell.
Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Johnson of Town Creek; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
Nephews will be pallbearers.

Survivors include her mother of Decatur; and one brother, Vance Kaylor of Maryville, Tenn.

Survivors include her husband, George Parker Montgomery; two daughters, Faye Nell Bolan of Hartselle and Bobbie Nell Robbins of Hendersonville, Tenn.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Gibson died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at National Health Care Center of Moulton. She was born May 23, 1923, in Decatur to Roscoe Denver Compton and Annie Elizabeth Waddell Compton. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. She retired after 39 years with South Central Bell.
Survivors include her husband, Wyman Gibson; one son, Wyman Gibson Jr.; one daughter, Sallye Grainger of Birmingham; three sisters, Eloise Looney and Elmer Vaughan, both of Decatur, and Olivia Neeley of Birmingham; and three grandsons.
Pallbearers will be Max Patterson, Phillip Blackwood, Russell Smith, Adam Pelfrey, Truitt Keenum and Rhett Pelfrey.

Mr. Hargrove died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at Limestone Health Facility. He was born Nov. 27, 1916, in Limestone County to Jim and Molly Hargrove. He was a retired dairy farmer, the widower of Edith Blakely Hargrove and the father of the late Bobby J. Hargrove.
Survivors include three sons, Billy W. Hargrove, Tommy Joe Hargrove and David S. Hargrove, all of Athens; one brother, Milton Hargrove of Athens; three sisters, Mary Webb of Decatur, Elsie Tennison of Detroit, Mich., and Madge Webb of Athens; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

He was past president of the Decatur Homebuilders Association, past president of the Alabama Homebuilders Association and past president of the Morgan County Democratic Party. He served in the Alabama National Guard.
