Jennifer Carole Romine

ATHENS -- Memorial service for Jennifer Carole Romine, 49, of Rogersville will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob White officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Romine died Friday, Oct. 15, 1999, at her home. She was born Sept. 4, 1950, in Giles County, Tenn., to Andrew Roland Miller and Dorothy Miller. She was a homemaker and a member of Elk River Baptist Church. She was sister of the late Billy Wayne Miller.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Romine; two sons, Mark Romine of Minor Hill, Tenn., and Travis Romine of Anderson; one daughter, Shawn Romine of Rogersville; her mother, Dorothy Miller Paulk of Athens; one brother, Jerry Miller of Elkmont; one sister, Michelle Browning of Toney; one half sister, Delaine Gulley of Athens; and one grandson.

Memorials may be made to Hospice or the American Cancer Society.

Pryor Wilson 'Fess' Sandlin
71, retired draftsmanengineer

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Pryor Wilson "Fess" Sandlin, 71, of Hartselle will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Thompson and the Rev. Buddy Brown officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Sandlin died Friday, Oct. 15, 1999, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born July 13, 1928, in Morgan County to Louis Ersey Sandlin and Lillian Wilson Sandlin. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and was a member of Neel United Methodist Church. He was a draftsman engineer retired from NASA.

He is survived by one son, Darryl Sandlin of Decatur; two daughters, Debbie Terry and Lorri McNutt, both of Decatur; two brothers, Joe Sandlin of Hartselle and Eugene Sandlin of Rogersville; two sisters, Lois Wallace of Hartselle and Ruth Taylor of Baton Rouge, La.; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Destin Sandlin, Kenneth Roberts, Sid Rowe, Tommy Wallace, Raymond Sandlin and David James.

Memorials may be made to Neel United Methodist Church, 6991 Danville Road, Hartselle, Ala., 35640.

Tony Howell Terry
42, electrician assistantat BE&K

MOULTON -- Funeral for Tony Howell Terry, 42, of Town Creek will be today at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Wakefield and the Rev. Steve Hood officiating.

Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.

Mr. Terry died Thursday, Oct. 14, 1999, in Lawrence County. He was born Aug. 23, 1957 in Lawrence County. He was an electrician assistant at BE&K in Decatur, a lifelong resident of Lawrence County and a member of Providence Baptist Church. He was son of the late Robert G. Terry.

He is survived by his wife, Dana Terry; two sons, Treavor Terry of Moulton and Chase Terry of Town Creek; one daughter, Deanna Terry of Town Creek; his mother, Faye Nell Terry of Town Creek; one brother, Ricky Terry of Town Creek; and one sister, Wanda NeSmith of Florence.

Pallbearers will be Mike Crumpton, Jason Proctor, Ricky Scoggin, Junior Waldrep, Cotton Flannagin and Ricky Bradford.

Jerilyn Lumpkin Keenan
45, former special education teacher

ATHENS -- Funeral for Jerilyn Lumpkin Keenan, 45, of Decatur will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home with the Rev. David Lewis and the Rev. Duane Maas officiating.

Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Ms. Keenan died Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Aug. 9, 1954, in Limestone County. She was a Baptist and a former special education teacher in Albertville and Decatur. She had a bachelor's degree in special education from Athens State University and a master's in special education from Alabama A&M University.

She is survived by her father, Jerry Irwin Lumpkin of Houston; her mother and stepfather, Dot Higgins Goldschmidt and Bill Goldschmidt of Decatur; two daughters, Charlotte McSherry of Mobile and Melanie McSherry Bishop of Jacksonville, N.C.; one brother, Louie Mark Lumpkin of Greenville, S.C.; and her step-grandfather, Bill Bishop of Dawsonville, Ga.

Memorials may be made to the Mental Health Center of North Central Alabama or Hospice of the Valley.

James Douglas Orr

Funeral for James Douglas Orr, 68, of Hartselle will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Chatman officiating.

Burial will be in Campground Cemetery with Reynolds Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.

Mr. Orr died Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999, at Sun Bridge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville, Tenn. He was born June 1, 1931, in Morgan County to Fred Douglas Orr and Ivory Colquit Orr. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church.

He is survived by three brothers, Travis Orr of Falkville, Cleo Orr of Decatur and Ardie B. Orr of Danville; and two sisters, Ophelia Patterson and Ruth Batts, both of Hartselle.

Pallbearers will be Charles Ratliff, William Sharpley, Shelvie Williams, William Higdon, Calvin Sharpley and Clyde Young.

Michael Anthony 'Biscuit' Smith
32, Sheetrock finisher

MOULTON -- Funeral for Michael Anthony "Biscuit" Smith, 32, of Hillsboro will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Gerald Sherrill and Derrick Sherrill officiating.

Burial will be in Courtland City Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Smith died Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. He was born Feb. 11, 1967, in Morgan County. He was a Sheetrock finisher and the grandson of the late Willadee Smith.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Jerry and Teresa Smith of Hillsboro; his mother, Carlotta Smith of Somerville; one brother, Mickey Smith of Somerville; one sister, Stephanie Smith of Hillsboro; and his grandparents, Riley Smith of Hillsboro and Eula Speed of Decatur.

Pallbearers will be Steven Smith, Robert Lynn Smith, Dexter Smith, Mike Lovett, Greg Stephenson, Jeff Smith and Danny Smith.

Howard D. Thrasher
79, retired DOT guard

Funeral for Howard D. Thrasher, 79, of Decatur will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Nesmith and the Rev. Gary Patton officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Thrasher died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999, at Sun Bridge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. He was born Feb. 18, 1920, in Lawrence County to William and Nancy Ann Thrasher. A member of Conway Baptist Church, he drove a truck for Wholesome Bread Co. and was retired from the Alabama Department of Transportation, where he worked as a guard.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Thrasher; three sons, Byron Thrasher of Danville, Royce Thrasher of Hartselle and Ronnie Thrasher of Decatur; one daughter, Angie Hughes of Danville; one stepson, Perry Waldrop of Champaign, Ill.; one sister, Wilma Pearl Shelton of Lawrence County; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Thrasher, Brandon Thrasher, Jeff Thrasher, Mickey Hughes, Chad Suggs and Roy Woods.

Johnathan Mark'Tiger' Warren

Funeral for Johnathan Mark "Tiger" Warren, 36, of Decatur will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at St. Stephen Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Eugene Lewis officiating.

Burial will be in Sterrs Cemetery with Sharpley Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.

Mr. Warren died Saturday, Oct. 16, 1999, at his home. He was born Aug. 14, 1963, in Decatur to Ruth Warren and the Rev. Theo Griffin.

Norman Leroy Davis
56, Delphi machinist

MOULTON -- Funeral for Norman Leroy Davis, 56, of Town Creek will be today at 3 p.m. at Straight Gospel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Neal Blaxton officiating.

Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Davis died Thursday, Oct. 21, 1999, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. He was born Jan. 26, 1943, in Lawrence County to Jessie Lee Davis and Ablean Davis. He worked as a machinist at Delphi Saginaw Steering Systems and was a member of Straight Gospel Missionary Baptist Church. He also was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Davis; four sons, Buddy Coffey of Trinity, Scott Coffey and Jeremy Davis, both of Town Creek, and Stacy Coffey of Hartselle; two daughters, Sonya Davis Bishop of Hatton and Tammy Cornelius of Double Springs; his stepmother, Pauline Davis of Hatton; three brothers, John Berry and Felt Berry, both of Double Springs, and Duane Davis of Hatton; three sisters, Ann Waid of Hartselle, Sue Simmons of Ponatoc, Miss., and Jeannie Clement of Jasper; and 10 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Clement, Dexter Lindsley, Bobby Simmons, Robert Lynn Smith, Al Fugate and Mike Bryant.

Ricky Early
40, brick mason

MOULTON -- Funeral for Ricky Early, 40, of Moulton will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Jackie Shelton officiating.

Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Early died Thursday, Oct. 21, 1999, in Moulton. He worked as a brick mason and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was the brother of the late Gary Early.

He is survived by one daughter, Nikkol Early of Mount Hope; his father, J.C. Early of Moulton; his mother and stepfather, Marie and Lee Brewer of Moulton; two brothers, Donnie Early and Tony Early, both of Moulton; and four sisters, Shelia Reeves, Lequita Harvelle and Tammy Campbell, all of Moulton, and Michelle Randolph of Hatton.

Pallbearers will be Vince Terry, Buddy Brewer, Jerry Brewer, Tim Myres, Chris Early and Robert Houser.
