Imogene Mason

Funeral for Imogene Mason, 79, of Hartselle will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Tunsel Road Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Green e officiating.

Burial will be in Moss Chapel Cemetery with Priceville Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.

Mrs. Mason died today, Oct. 26, 2001, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born April 13, 1922, in Giles County, Tenn., to Luther Attkisson and Lillie Ola Story Attkisson. She was a homemaker and a member of Tunsel Road Baptist Church.

Survivors include four sons, Millard Mason of Vinemont, Dale Mason of Falkville, Steve Mason of Houston, Texas, and Ronald Mason of Hartselle; one daughter, Joyce Johnson of Hartselle; one brother, Ross Attkisson of Kansas City, Kan.; three sisters, Mae Harvel of Hartselle, Sue Boyett of Pace, Fla., and Opal McGinness of Topeka, Kan.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Michael Johnson, Jeff Mason, Jonathan Mason, Doug Mason, Tony Hardiman, Daryl Fox, Shannon Ferguson and Burse Boes.

Anita Richartz O'Dell

A memorial service for Anita Richartz O'Dell, 58, of Decatur will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Culotta officiating.

Mrs. O'Dell died Monday, Oct. 15, 2001, at her home. She was born May 31, 1943, in Cologne, Germany, to Peter Richartz and Anna Richartz Mynar. She grew up in Hartland, Mich. She had been a resident of Decatur since 1976. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Ann, a founding member of The Sew What's sewing club and a member of the German Ladies Club.

Survivors include her husband, Stephen "Terry" O'Dell; one son, Eric O'Dell of Pinnelas Park, Fla.; her father and step-mother, Peter and Sibile Richartz of Cologne; her mother and step-father, Anna and Walter Mynar of Decatur; four brothers, Dieter Mynar of Madison Heights, Mich., and Robert Richartz, Hans Richartz and Peter Richartz, all of Cologne; two sisters, Marianna Richartz Schirmer and Monika Richartz Ochs, both of Cologne; and three grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Hospice of the Valley or St. Ann Catholic Church.

Ed Wesley Peters

TRINITY -- Funeral for Ed Wesley Peters, 72, of Moulton was to be today at 1 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with the Rev. Junior Hale officiating.

Burial was to be in Old Beulah Cemetery.

Mr. Peters died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. He was born Feb. 19, 1929, in Childersburg, to Willie Peters and Birtie McGlone Peters. He was the retired manager of Littrell Lumber Co. paint department.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Peters; one son, Roger Peters of Chalybeate; one step-daughter, Amy Cooper of Norfolk, Va.; one brother, Buck Peters of Hamilton; two sisters, Charlene Mitchell of Phil Campbell and Irene Borden of Hatton; one half-sister, Mary Lou Wagster of Princeton, Ky.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one step-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Peters, Steven Peters, Brian Peters, Wesley Peters, Jimmy Mitchell, Toney Beaver and Ricky Pennington.

Malik Maurice Willingham

Graveside service for infant Malik Maurice Willingham was to be today at 11 a.m. at Annie Mae Willingham Cemetery in Courtland with the Rev. Cary Orr officiating and Reynolds Funeral Home directing.

The baby died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2001, the day of his birth, at Decatur General Hospital.

Survivors include his parents, Richard Willingham and Sequetta Pointer Willingham of Courtland; one sister, Olivia Green e of Lakeland, Fla.; his grandparents, R.D. Pointer, Mattie Pointer, both of Moulton, James Carter of Erwin, N.C., and Mary Erives of Courtland; and his great-grandparents, Hazel Pointer of Oakville, Paul Pointer of Moulton and Dave Willingham III and Phyllis Willingham of Courtland.

Victoria Etoil Adair
TRINITY -- Funeral for Victoria Etoil Adair, 89, of Danville will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Ken Johnson and Ray McWhorter officiating.

Burial will be in Aldridge Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Adair died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001 at Decatur General Hospital. She was born June 19, 1912 in Lawrence County to Oak McWhorter and Ida McWhorter. She was a homemaker and a member of Fairfield Church of Christ. She was the widow of Ed Adair.

Survivors include one son, Wayne Adair of Moulton; one daughter, Betty Adair Garner of Decatur; two half-sisters, Lela Bricanie of Bath Spring, Tenn. and Wanda Harrison of Huntsville; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Ross Garner, Bob Jordan, Kyle Jordan, Bill Brady, Wendell Logan and Willie Hood.

Barry Wilson Hubble

ARAB -- Funeral for Barry Wilson Hubble, 46, of Union Grove will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Arab-Heritage Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Nappier and the Rev. Don Ware officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Hubble died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001 at his home. He was born July 3, 1955 in Marshall County to Kenneth and Barbara K. Hubble.

He was the owner of Hubble Septic Tank and Backhoe Service and a retired National Guardsman.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie B. Hubble; one son, Joey Hubble of Union Grove; one daughter, Stephanie Hubble of Union Grove; his father of Arab; and two sisters, Patricia "Sissy" Hubble of Birmingham and Sharon Wilson of Morgan City.

Pallbearers will be Derek Wilson, Steven Borden, Bobby Baskins, Keith Whisenant, Kevin Henson and Junior Breedwell.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Barbara Ellen Roach

FORT PAYNE -- Graveside service for Barbara Ellen Roach, 100, of Falkville will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Sulphur Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Harold Howell officiating and Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Roach died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2001, at Falkville Health Care Center. She was born April 17, 1901, in Sulphur Springs to John and Frances Bouldin Whited. A resident of Sulphur Springs for 96 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Ruth Wilhite of Falkville; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Nephews and grandsons will be pallbearers.

Emmett Arnold Tuten

Funeral for Emmett Arnold Tuten, 90, of Decatur will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with Ken Chambers officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Tuten died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001, at Health Care Center of Plant City in Florida. He was born Sept. 3, 1911 in Rogersville to Willis Tuten and Earlene Tuten. He was a retired retail salesman and a member of the Church of Christ. A World War II U.S. Army veteran, he received a Bronze Star, a Silver Star and a European African Middle Eastern Service Medal.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Tuten; one son, Russell Haddock of Center Star; one daughter, Norma Smith of Davenport, Fla.; one sister, Alice Aldine Nicholas of Adamsville; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kerry Smith, Terry Paul Tuten, Harold Tuten, Russell Haddock, Randall Haddock, Don Tuten, Kenneth Cole Jr. and Brice McCreeles.

Roland Holmes Ezell
ATHENS -- Funeral for Roland Holmes Ezell, 64, of Rogersville was to be today at 2 p.m. at Rogersville Church of Christ with Wendell Gann, Dennis Jones and Larry Wilson officiating.

Burial was to be in Rogersville Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home directing. The body was to be in the church one hour before the service.

Mr. Ezell died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence. He was born July 10, 1937, in Lauderdale County to Leonard and Mary Susan Ezell. He was a retired water superintendent for the city of Rogersville and a retired Rogersville volunteer fireman, rescue squad and emergency unit worker. He was a member of Alabama Rural Water Association, Alabama Water Pollution Control Association and Rogersville Church of Christ. He was the brother of the late Douglas Leonard Ezell and James T. Ezell.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Barclay Ezell; one son, Michael Roland Ezell of Rogersville; two daughters, Susan Elizabeth Garner and Ginger Leigh Lansdell, both of Rogersville; one brother, Mack Ezell of Florence; two sisters, Martha Nell Ezell and Mary Lois Graham, both of Rogersville; and five grandchildren.

Nettie 'June' Frances Green

ATHENS -- Funeral for Nettie "June" Frances Green , 79, of Elkmont will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. James Adams and the Rev. Michael Green officiating.

Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Green died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Oct. 7, 1922, in Kentucky to James Riley Goad and Lillie Goad. She was retired nurse who worked at Athens-Limestone Hospital and Dr. Frank Cauthen's office.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Green of Athens and Joe Green of Elkmont; one daughter, Brenda Pack of Athens; one brother, Robert Qualls of Scottsville, Ky.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her two sons, Lloyd Self, Vern Miles, Nathan Smith and Kenny Green .

Memorials may be made to the World Trade Center survivor fund in New York City.

Barry Wayne Kelso

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Barry Wayne Kelso, 33, of Hartselle will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeri Hunt officiating.

Burial will be in Aldridge Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Kelso died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001, in Huntsville. He was born March 28, 1968, in Morgan County to Carl Wayne Kelso and Dorothy Smith Martin. He was a business manager for Bramlett Auto Sales in Decatur. He was the grandson of the late Cordie Smith and Oscar and Lucille Kelso.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Whitehead; his mother of Hartselle; two sisters, Joan Richardson and Kim Allen, both of Hartselle; two half-brothers, Steve Kelso and Tony Kelso, both of Danville; and his grandmother, Ethel Smith of Hartselle.

Pallbearers will be Greg Barbin, Trent Widner, Grady Widner, Min Kang, Tim Bramlett and Jim Bramlett.

Harold Edward Malone

ATHENS c Memorial service for Harold Edward Malone, 63, of Fairfax Station, Va., was to be today at 4 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with Bobby Turner officiating.

Mr. Malone died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001, at his home. He was born Feb. 3, 1939, in Limestone County to John Wesley Malone and Francis Emma Hamley Malone. He was a technical engineer with Washington-Metro Transit and a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include two daughters, Dezaray Boonin of Millville, Del., and Madalyn Malone of Denver, Colo.; two brothers, Morris L. Malone and Steve Malone, both of Athens; two sisters, Anita Pratt of Athens and Arlene Walker of Athens; and two grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.

Audrey Stroup McCluskey

Funeral for Audrey Stroup McCluskey, 75, of Decatur will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Wallace Willingham officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. McCluskey died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born Feb. 21, 1926, in Morgan County to Melvin Theo "Tode" Stroup and Eula Mae Shelton Stroup. She was an avid supporter of Austin High School basketball. She was the widow of Edward "Bud" McCluskey.

Survivors include five daughters, Vicki Toney of Athens, Brenda McCluskey of Buford, Ga., Charlotte Hooton of Birmingham, Sheila McCluskey and Linda Moebes, both of Charleston, S.C.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be David Toney, Michael Hooton, Rudy Moebes, Michael Toney, Brandon Moebes, Patrick Hooton, Adam Wilson and Charles Williamson.
