ATHENS -- Funeral for Beatrice Rogers, 76, of Madison will be Sunday at noon at Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church in Green briar with the Rev. Joe Cater officiating.
Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery with People's Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rogers died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1999, at her home. She was born May 16, 1923, in Limestone County. She was retired from Sweet Sue Kitchens, and she was a member of Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church.
She is survived by eight sons, F.E. Rogers Jr. of Calhoun, Ga., Willie Paul Fletcher, Clark Rogers, Barry Rogers, all of Madison, Turner Lee Rogers, Anthony Rogers, both of Athens, Vincent Rogers of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Earnest Rogers of North Carolina; five daughters, Hazel Fletcher, Virginia Fletcher, both of Madison, Minnie Fletcher, Ora Johnson and Veronica Pride, all of Athens; two brothers, Isaac Fletcher of Akron, Ohio, and O.C. Fletcher of Huntsville; two sisters, Hazel Turner of Birmingham and Earlene Fletcher of Huntsville; 46 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
Terry Glenn Smith

Funeral for Terry Glenn Smith, 48, of Priceville was to be today at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Joey Cannady officiating.
Burial was to be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Smith died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1999, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born April 27, 1951, in Albertville to Emmett and Novis Smith. He was a town councilman and mayor pro tem of Priceville, and a chemical operator at BP Amoco Chemicals. He was a volunteer firefighter in Priceville and a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, Casey Smith of Priceville; two daughters, Heather Smith and Kelly Smith, both of Priceville; his parents; two brothers, Dennis Smith and Al Smith, both of Albertville; two sisters, Debra Karr of Horton and Lara Price of Boaz; and one grandson.
Members of No. 5 Unit at BP Amoco were to be pallbearers.
Members of Priceville Volunteer Fire Department were to be honorary pallbearers.

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Carol Ann Tapscott, 67, of Hartselle was to be today at 1 p.m. Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Culotta, the Rev. W.G. Henry and Rev. Cline Shaneyfelt officiating.
Mrs. Tapscott died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1999, at her home. She was born Nov. 25, 1932, in Detroit, Mich., to Max and Virginia Nelson. She was a homemaker and a member of American Legion Auxiliary and Xi Beta Upsilon, a chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.
She is survived by her husband, Don Tapscott; one son, Thomas Tapscott of Town Creek; three daughters, Donna Barnes of Decatur, and Sharon Moore and Karen Anderson, both of Hartselle; her parents, Max and Virginia Nelson of St. Clair Shores, Mich.; two brothers, Matthew Nelson and Bill Nelson, both of Michigan; two sisters, Dorothy Sarrach and Joanne Bishop, both of Michigan; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers were to be Brandon Dutton, Brian Dutton, Matt Tapscott, Josh Moore and Randy Alread.

Mrs. Terry died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1999, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Oct. 11, 1918, in Lawrence County to Riley and Ida Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of New Life Assembly of God Church. She was the widow of Leslie L. Terry.
She is survived by three sons, Gerald Lee Terry and O'Neal Terry, both of Trinity, and Wendell Terry of Moulton; four daughters, Nella Jean Parham, Brenda Long and Trudy Bradford, all of Moulton, and Wilma Bradford of Decatur; two brothers, Riley Smith Jr. and Robert Smith, both of Hillsboro; 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Her grandsons will be pallbearers.

Mr. Wann died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1999, at his home. He was born Feb. 28, 1932, in Lordsburg, N.M., to Earnest and Julia Wann. He served in the U.S. Army for 21 years and retired, and worked at Champion International Corp. for 24 years and retired.
He is survived by his wife, Doris A. Wann; one stepson, Wayne Terry of Costa Rica; one stepdaughter, Susan Anderton of Hatton; one brother, Walter Soul of California; one sister, Marilyn Lopez of California; and four step-grandchildren.
His nephews will be pallbearers.
Orlene Ayers Carrell

Mrs. Carrell died Thursday, Dec. 23, 1999, at Parkway Medical Center Hospital. She was born Aug. 11, 1926, in Limestone County. She was a legal secretary for 41 years for Russell, Straub and Kyle and was secretary and treasurer of East End United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Legal Secretary Association.
She is survived by her husband, Otto Carrell; and one brother, William Ayers of Newport, Tenn.
Pallbearers will be Steve Legg, Brian Legg, Ricky Aycock, Wes Aycock, Billy Jackson, Ken Ashcraft, Mark Ashcraft and Dustin Ashcraft.

Mr. Maner died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1999, at his home. A native of Lawrence County, he was retired from Ford Motor Co. and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Tuscumbia.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Laura Gibson Maner; two sons, Bobby Maner of Memphis and Charlie Maner of Huntsville; one daughter, Angela Foster of Tuscumbia; three sisters, Clendora Bowden of California, Evelyn Fedderman of Louisville, Ky., and Lillian Collins of Trinity; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tillman Beasley, Maclin Kennemer, Harold Maples, Dennis Norton, Walter Thompson and Ed Wilbanks.
