Ms. Willie Merle Parrish of Coffee Springs died Sunday morning, March 30, 2003, in Jackson County Convalescent Center, Graceville, Fla., after an extended illness. She was 76. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, at Fairview Baptist Church, on Highway 87 North, with the Revs. Hubert McWaters and James Preachers officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Baptist Church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Geneva directing.

Hoyt W. "Bill" Raffield Jr. of Enterprise died early Monday morning, March 31, 2003, in Hartford Health Care following a short illness. He was 64. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2003, in the Searcy Funeral Home Chapel in Enterprise, Ala. with Rev. Marcus Ramer officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Baptist Church cemetery in Clayhatchee, Ala., with Holman-Headland Mortuary directing. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Searcy Funeral Home Chapel in Enterprise.

Mrs. Vera Mae "Susi" Spadaro of Plaza Drive in Daleville died Sunday morning, March 30, 2003, at the family residence after an extended illness. She was 74. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Thursday from the Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with a Wiregrass Hospice Chaplain officiating. Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise, 334-347-9598, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Judith "Judy" Dobbins Ware died Sunday evening, March 30, in Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama, after a heart attack earlier that morning. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at First Baptist Church of Graceville with Dr. Bob Johnson and Dr. Jerry Windsor officiating. Burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Cemetery in Graceville with James & Lipford Funeral Home of Graceville directing. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Carolyn Smith Wills, a resident of Shorterville, died late Sunday afternoon, March 30, 2003, in a Dothan hospital after a brief illness. She was 69. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today in the Shorterville Baptist Church with the Revs. James R. Borden and Ray S. Reiley officiating. Burial will follow in Abbeville Gardens of Memory with Holman-Abbeville Mortuary directing.

Hattie Ruth Brooks Allen of Pomona, Calif., formerly of Enterprise, passed Wednesday, March 18, 2003. She was 88. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 29 at St. Beulah Missionary Baptist Church in Enterprise with a eulogy given by the Rev. C.A. Hammond. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Enterprise. Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Scott's Chapel Hill Mortuary. Family will receive friends at 7 p.m. The family will be at the home of Bernest and Beatrice Brooks, 803 N. Ouida St., Enterprise, Ala.

Mr. James Berry of Eufaula, formerly of Dothan, passed Wednesday, March 26, 2003, at Crowne Health Care of Eufaula. He was 83. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced later by Unity Funeral Home of Dothan, 334-792-5169.

Ezron (Dock) Bond of County Road, Newville, died early Thursday, March 27, 2003, at a Dothan hospital following a brief illness. He was 91. Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Friday, March 28 at Union Springs Baptist Church, near Newville, with the Rev. Don Adams and the Rev. Adolph Phares officiating. Burial will follow at church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday in the church sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Union Springs Baptist Church, c/o Freddie Brannon, 947 County Road 12, Headland, Ala. 36345, or to Union Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Celia Jones, 615 County Road 145 East, Headland, Ala. 36345.

Mr. Jerry Lee Campbell of Cottonwood passed Saturday, March 22, 2003, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 37. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29 at Smithville Baptist Church, 160 Smithville Road, Dothan, where the Rev. Carroll is pastor with the Rev. Henry Small officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 28 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Mr. Campbell will be placed in the church two hours prior to services.

Mrs. Marie E. Phillips Crooms of Barber Court, Dothan, passed away at her residence Wednesday, March 26, 2003, after an extended illness. She was 79. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29 at Kent-Thornton-Meadows Funeral Home Chapel in Dothan with the Rev. Wallace Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Sandra Condon Culpepper of Dothan died Tuesday, March 25, 2003 in Auburn. She was 62. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany House, Hospice of EAMC, 665 Opelika Road, Auburn/Opelika, Ala. 36830.

Ricky Edward Hall of East State Highway 52, Hartford, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2003, at University of South Alabama Hospital in Mobile from a massive stroke. He was 44. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29 at First Baptist Church in Geneva with Pastor Chris Adam officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Geneva.

Ms. Kizmick "Kizzy" Tonyaa Johnson of Dothan died Tuesday, March 25, 2003, following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was 23. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 29 at North Highland Baptist Church with the Rev. Eugene Leonard Jr. officiating and special speaker, Dominique Maxwell. Burial will follow at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Byrd Funeral Home. Ms. Johnson will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time on Saturday.

Jimmy Eddins and the Rev. Stratton Colonna officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to services. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Pittman Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Activities Department of Wiregrass Nursing Home, 1200 W. Maple Ave., Geneva, Ala. 36340.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 30 at First Assembly of God Church in Hartford with the Rev. Glenn Tate and the Rev. Lloyd Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Hartford City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Sorrells Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church one hour before service time.

Mr. Billy Sherrel McDougald of Johnson Lake Road, Westville, Fla., (Oak Grove Baptist Church Community) died Wednesday morning, March 26, 2003, at Southeast Alabama Medical center after a brief illness. He was 64. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 28 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Omar Deen officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Lois Corbin Mercer of Enterprise died Thursday, March 27, 2003, at Medical Center Enterprise in Enterprise. She was 66. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Chad Corbin and the Rev. Phil Cooley officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery. Hilda Boone Miles of Highway 134 East, Headland, died late Tuesday afternoon, March 25, 2003, at a Dothan hospital after a short illness. She was 83. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 28 at Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Dr. Cecil M. Sanders Jr. and Dr. Burney H. Enzor officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Headland, 301 E. Church St., Headland, Ala. 36345.

Dollie Parham Milner, a resident of Wesley Manor, died Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center following an extended illness. She was 94. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 28 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Bridges and the Rev. John Baxter officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home.

Billy H. Parker of County Road 49, Headland, died early Wednesday afternoon, March 26, 2003, at his residence after a short illness. He was 75. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 28 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Ricky L. Smith and the Rev. Jody Haddan officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Ligon Thomas Solomon, II, of Dothan died unexpectedly early Thursday morning, March 27, 2003, in the emergency room of a Dothan hospital. He was 58. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29 at Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. J. Walker Epps Jr. and the Rev. Charles W. Price Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary in Headland. At other times, the family will be at the home of Marvin and Ethel Riley, 114 Walden Pond Road, Headland. Roy Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Assembly of God Cemetery in Coffee Springs. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to services.

Mr. Carlous Luden Barfield, a resident of Dothan, died Sunday, March 30, 2003, in Tuscaloosa, following a brief illness. He was 59. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Van Gauthe officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Byrd Funeral Home directing. Byrd Funeral Home, 793-3003, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Cecil Campbell, of Clio, died Saturday, March 29, 2003, at his home. He was 81. Funeral services for Mr. Campbell will be held at 2 p.m.. Monday, March 31, at Calvary Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Randy Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home of Clio directing. The body will be placed in the family's home on Louisville St. in Clio Monday at 9 a.m. and will remain there until one hour prior to service time, when it will be placed in the church. Grace Woodham Clenney, a resident of Southdale Apartments, Abbeville, died early Sunday morning, March 30, 2003, at her home after a short illness. She was 84. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2003, in the Adams Chapel United Methodist Church, north of Edwin, with Rev. Woody Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Holman-Abbeville Mortuary directing. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the services. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday from the chapel of Sorrrells Funeral Home with Reverend Donnie Earles and Reverend Dale Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Mt.Carmel Baptist Church cemetery at Coffee Springs with Sorrells Funeral Home directing. Sorrells Funeral Home, 684-9999, is in charge of arrangements.

Burial will follow in the Sykes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home of Clio directing. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Monday, with the Rev.
