Mr. Robert (Bob Tracey) Hardrick of Cottonwood died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan after an extended illness. Funeral services will be noon Monday, March 10 at Union Hill Baptist Church in Cottonwood with the Rev. Thomas Dawsey Sr., pastor, and Bishop N. Pollock officiating. Burial will follow at Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 9 at Varner Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to services.

Lucille Crutchfield Hughes of Wesley Manor Retirement Center in Dothan, formerly of Harrison Road, Dothan, died Friday afternoon, March 7, 2003, at the retirement center after an extended illness. She was 89. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 9 at Gardens of Memory with the Rev. Charles Barker officiating. The family will be at the home of a son, Billy Joe Hughes, 3116 Clayborne Road, Dothan. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Wiregrass Hospice Inc., P.O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, Ala. 36302.

Mr. Levie Newton Kelley of Hwy 134, New Brockton, (Damascus Community) died Friday, March 7, 2003 in Medical Center Enterprise. He was 83. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 10 at Damascus Baptist Church with the Rev. Faron Golden, the Rev. Gary Patrick and the Rev. Bobby Driver officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home. The body will be placed into the church one hour before service time. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, c/o Linda Andress, memorial chair, Citizens Bank, P.O. Box 310900, Enterprise, Ala. 35331-0900.

Leila Bell Lawson passed away early Thursday, March 6, 2003, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. She was 95. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 9 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home. Visitation and viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to a favorite charity.

Mr. David Elton Lewis of Clio died Friday, March 7, 2003, at Oakview Manor Nursing Home. He was 85. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 10 at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Adams officiating. Burial will be at Dykes Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Hubert Selman "Sport" Martin of Enterprise died Friday, March 7, 2003, in Enterprise. He was 89. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 10 at County Line Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Wiggins and the Rev. Bobby Morrow officiating. Burial will follow at County Line Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, March 9 at the funeral home. Mr. Martin will be taken to the church one hour before service time. Memorial contributions may be made to County Line Baptist Church Building Fund, 1000 Alabama Highway 92, Enterprise, Ala. 36330.

Lawrence F. Munn of Decatur, Ga., died March 7, 2003. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 13 at the residence. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

Mr. J.W. Peacock of Airport Road, Slocomb, died Wednesday night, March 5, 2003, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center after an extended illness. He was 74. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, March 9 at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Coley M. Holloway and the Rev. Bobby Morgan officiating. The eulogy will be given by Col. John Hodges. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Eva Neese Rushing of 105 East Court, Headland, died Friday afternoon, March 7, 2003, at her home after an extended illness. She was 88. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 9 at Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Ricky L. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Wiregrass Hospice Inc. P.O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, Ala. 36302.

Mary Katherine Cividini Warwin of Dothan died Friday, March 7, 2003, at Extendicare Health and Rehabilitation Center Hospice Wing following an extended illness. She was 90. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 10 at Ward-Wilson Memory Hill Cemetery with the Revs. James Reed and Bob Gross officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Dothan, 300 W. Main St., Dothan, Ala. 36303.

John Byron Yawn of Dothan died Friday, March 7, 2003 at his residence of an apparent heart attack. He was 65. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. (E.S.T.) Sunday, March 9 at Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Climax (Decatur County), Ga., with the Rev. W. G. Turner officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time in the church.

Mr. Harold C. Ammons of Graceville died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, from injuries received in an automobile accident. He was 73. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by James & Lipford Funeral Home of Graceville, Fla., 850-263-3238.

Mr. Kerry Bast of Daleville died Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. He was 47. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8 at Holman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. James Kilpatrick officiating. Interment will follow at Daleville Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to service time Saturday at Holman Funeral Home, 995 South Union Avenue, Ozark. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia Society of America, 100 Chase Park South, Suite 220, Birmingham, Ala. 35244-1851.

M.C. Campbell of Catherine Drive, Abbeville, died Wednesday morning, March 5, 2003, at a Dothan hospital. He was 89. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 7 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, near Eufaula, with the Rev. Jerry Gaston and the Rev. Randy Stokes officiating. Burial will follow at Sykes Creek Baptist Cemetery, near Clio.

James R. Chancey of Geneva passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at his home in Geneva. He was 56. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8 at Highfalls Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Jessie Hobbs and the Rev. Tommy Moore officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 7 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Geneva.

Mr. R.A. Clark of Highway 51, New Brockton, died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at Medical Center Enterprise after a brief illness. He was 95. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8 at Old Tabernacle United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lee Jones officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends at the church from 1 until 2 p.m. Saturday.

Annette Ellis Conrad of Webb died Thursday, March 6, 2003 at her home in Webb. She was 66. Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Monday, March 10 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Benny Gibbs officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Mrs. Conrad's honor may be made to The American Heart Association, P.O. Box 6267, Dothan, Ala. 36302.

Inez Cook, a former Columbia resident, died late Monday night at the home of her daughter, Sue Bowman, in Ozark, under the care of Wiregrass Hospice, following an extended illness. She was 76. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 7 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Hospice Chaplian the Rev. Randall Johnson and the Rev. Max Sporman officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory. Flowers are being accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Wiregrass Hospice, P.O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, Ala. 36302.

Mr. Franklin Crawford of Gardendale passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2003. He was 69. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8 at Gardendale Chapel with the Rev. Kyle Poole officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitationwill be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. John Angus Dady of Parker Ave., Port St. Joe, Fla., was called into the kingdom of his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 6, 2003, at his Port St. Joe residence after a lengthy illness. He was 83. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 8 at Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Geneva with the Rev. Gene Shoots and the Rev. Janet German officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Assembly of God Church Cemetery, Westville, Fla. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Stewart Burgess Fitzpatrick of Moss Street, Dothan, passed away at his residence Wednesday, March 5, 2003. He was 93. Funeral srrvices will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 7 at Kent-Thornton-Meadows Funeral Home Chapel of Dothan conducted by the Rev. Randy Woodham. Burial will be at Memory Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wiregrass Hospice, P.O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, Ala. 36302, and will be appreciated.

Elizabeth Irene Newberry Fleming of La Grange, Ga., and formerly of Geneva, died Tuesday, March 4, 2003, in La Grange, Ga. She was 88. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva, 334-684-2600.

Mr. Grant Grimsley Sr. passed away March 4, 2003. He was 85. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8 at New Jerusalem Methodist Church, 914 N. Jerusalem Road, Gordon, where he was a member, with the Rev. Eddie Hightower, pastor, officiating. Mr. Grimsley will rest at Varner Memorial Funeral Home for visitation Friday. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at New Jerusalem Methodist Church Cemetery.

Addison Olivia Gross, infant daughter of Barry and Amber Kirkland Gross of Valdosta, Georgia, died Sunday, March 2, 2003. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8 at Christian Home Church of Christ in Wicksburg. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Edna Estelle Underwood Howell of Chancellor died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at Flowers Hospital after an extended illness. She was 79. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at Pittman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Royce Morrow officiating. Burial will be at Meadowlawn Memorial Park in Enterprise.

James Artis Howell of Geneva passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2003, in Bonifay, Fla. He was 86. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 7 at Opp City Cemetery in Opp with the Rev. Cecle Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Opp City Cemetery.

Mrs. Elizabeth Ballard Skinner Harris Maninger of North County Road 9, Dothan, died Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. She was 58. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, March 7 at Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery.

Roy E. Martin of Decatur died Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. He was 96. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 7 at Ridout's Brown-Service Chapel with the Rev. Brooks Barkley officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.

William H. Martin of Dothan died early Wednesday morning, March 5, 2003, in Graceville, Fla., following an extended illness. He was 74. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 8 at Memory Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Poston officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Southern Heritage Funeral Home.

Sharlee "Pepper" Miller May, a resident of Encore Senior Village of Pensacola, Fla., formerly of Fort Lauderdale, died March 1, 2003, after an extended illness. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. (EST) Saturday at Kraeer Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Burial will follow at Lauderdale Memorial Park, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Local arrangements are being handled by Searcy Funeral Home of Enterprise.

Yvonne Moeai of Parker Hills Drive, Ozark, died late Wednesday morning, March 5, 2003, in a Dothan hospital after a brief illness. She was 60. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 8 at Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Bishop Paul Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory, between Dothan and Headland. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the mortuary in Headland. At other times, the family will be at the residence in Ozark.
