Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ward-Wilson Memory Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Ward-Wilson Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Wiregrass Hospice, P.O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, Ala. 36302.

Bess Hall Bagwell, a resident of Dothan, died Monday morning, March 3, 2003. She was 95. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2003 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Rev. James Underwood officiating and Byrd Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 tonight. At other times the family will be at the home of a daughter, Joann Morris, 101 Shawnee Court, Dothan.

Mr. Billy Wayne Blair, a resident of Webb, died Monday, May 3, 2003, at his residence. He was 48. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Ward-Wilson Memory Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward-Wilson Memory Hill Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday. Complete arrangements and a list of survivors will be announced later by Ward-Wilson Memory Hill Funeral Home, 792-4194.

Iris Emma Bruner, of Pensacola, Fla. and formerly of Ashford, died following a brief illness Sunday, March 2, 2003 in Pensacola. She was 92. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Ashford United Methodist Church with the Rev. Daniel Randall officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashford City Cemetery with Ward-Wilson Memory Funeral Home directing. The family will be receiving friends at the Ashford United Methodist Church from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday prior to service time. The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Ashford United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1007, Ashford, Ala. 36312 or to one's favorite hospice.

Willa Dean Chapman of Donalsonville, Ga., died Sunday, March 2, 2003, at her residence. She was 66. The funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Jakin Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Jakin Cemetery. The Revs. Calvin Arnold and Eric Boomer will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wiregrass Hospice.

Allen Childs Draughon of Wesley Manor Methodist Home died Monday, March 3, 2003 after an extended illness. He was 81. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Kent-Thornton-Meadows Funeral Home with Dr. Walter D. Draughon, Jr. officiating. Special music will be by Rev. Billy Rich, Minister of Music and Mrs. Lanette Johnson, pianist at Southside Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory. The family will be receiving friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Flowers are being accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Wiregrass Hospice, P.O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, Ala. 36302 or to Wesley Manor Building Fund, 718 Honeysuckle Road in Dothan.

Audie Partain Kilpatrick, a resident of County Road 45, South, Headland, died Sunday night, March 2, 2003, at her home. She was 84. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2003, in the Peck Funeral Home Chapel, Hartselle, Alabama, with Rev. Jimmy Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery in the Massey community in Cullman County. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 tonight at Holman-Headland Mortuary in Headland. The family will also receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Peck Funeral Home in Hartselle. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Wiregrass Hospice, Inc., P.O. Mr. James Knox Sr. of Campbellton died Thursday evening, February 27, 2003, in the Campbellton-Graceville Hospital after an extended illness. He was 85. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at New Bethel C.M.E. Church in Campbellton, with the Revs. Daryl Rittman, Earnestine Daniels, and Rudolph Dickens officiating. Burial will be in the St. Paul Cemetery with McKinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton directing. Visitation will be 6-7 tonight at McKinnie Funeral Home Chapel.

Hugh S. Lane Jr. of Darlington, S.C., died Saturday, March 1, 2003. He was 84. The funeral service for Lane will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Indian Branch United Methodist Church, conducted by Reb. Steve Zimmerman. Burial will follow in the Darlington Memory Gardens, directed by Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Andrew R. "Andy" McMillan, of Graceville, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2003, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan following a brief illness. He was 62. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the First United Methodist Church of Graceville with the Rev. Cecil Jackson and the Rev. Gene Hauser officiating. Military honors given by American Legion, Sneads Post #241, will follow in Damascus Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home of Graceville directing. Flowers will be accepted, or the family requests memorials be made to the Cripple Children's Fund, c/o Shaddai Shrine Temple, 1101 W. 19th St., Panama City, Fla., 32401. Memorials can also be made to My Father's Closet, 5374 Cliff St., Graceville, Fla., 32440.

Ruby Cotton Moss, Gene Terry Road, died Sunday, March 2, 2003 at her residence following an extended illness. She was 85. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at Memphis Baptist Church with Rev. Earnest O'Neal and Rev. Rick Glenn officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Byrd Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Moss will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time today. Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to Wiregrass Hospice, P.O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, Alabama 36302.

Elizabeth Peak of Bonifay, Fla., passed away Monday, March 3, 2003, in Bonifay, Fla. She was 89. The graveside service will be 11 a.m. today at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Eddins officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home of Geneva, 334-684-2982, is in charge of arrangements.

Merle Bruner Pearce, a resident of Hutto Towers, died Sunday, March 2, 2003, at Flowers Hospital. She was 78. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. today at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Orrin Barrett officiating and Byrd Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Pearce was born November 3, 1924, in Houston County and lived most of her life in Dothan. She was a homemaker and the widow of John P. Pearce. Mrs. Pearce was a charter member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

Mrs. Ollie Mary Reeves of Dothan passed Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2003, at her residence. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Park Chapel AME Church with Rev. Oliver Allen Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Mobile on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Allen Funeral Home and Scott's Chapel Hill Mortuary directing. Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. today at Allen Funeral Home. Mrs. Reeves will be placed in the church one hour prior to service on Wednesday.

Bobby Ray Whitman of Springfield, Missouri, and formerly of Dothan, died Thursday, February 27, 2003, in the Dominican Republic while on vacation. He was 59. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Southern Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, 334-702-1712.

Mr. Christopher Ryan Whittle of Dothan passed Friday in Dothan. He was 22. Mr. Whittle will repose at Scott's Chapel Hill Mortuary, 701 Daleville Avenue, from 1 until 5 p.m. today. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at First Missionary Baptist Church, 370 Chickasaw Street in Dothan with the Rev. B.K. Marshall officiating and Scott's Chapel Hill Mortuary directing. Visitation will be from noon until time of funeral services on Wednesday, 3 p.m., at the First Missionary Baptist Church.

Marion Bilby Williams of LaPorte, Ind., died at Hartford Heald Care in Hartford Saturday. She was 89. Funeral services will be held at Cutler Funeral Home, 2900 Monroe St in LaPorte, Ind., Saturday at 12 p.m. Visitiation will be Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Marion Bilby Williams Scholarship Fund, c/o Ball State University Foundation, P.O. Box 672, Muncie, Ind. 47308.

Agnes Bond Arnold, a resident of 463 County Road 140, Newville, died early Saturday morning, March 1, 2003, in a Dothan hospital after an extended illness. She was 77. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2003, in the Union Springs Baptist Church, near Newville, with Rev. Larry Roberts, Rev. Jim F. Corley and Rev. Adolph Phares officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Holman-Headland Mortuary directing.

Mrs. Carolyn Curenton, of 833-1/2 North Main St., Enterprise, died Saturday, March 1, 2003, at Medical Center Enterprise. She was 71. Burial will follow in the Enterprise City Cemetery with Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Annie Mae Davis, of 9391 Highway,134 in Elba, died Sunday at Enterprise Nursing Home. She was 87. Funeral services will be at New Haven Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2003, with the Rev. Ben Amlong officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Church Cemetery, Elba. Viodean Everheart, of 207 Lincoln St., Dothan, passed away Feb. 26, 2003, at her home following a brief illness. She was 61. Funeral services for Mrs. Everheart will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, at North Highland Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert L. Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Gates of Heaven Cemetery with Hammond Funeral Home directing.

The funeral will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at Searcy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Danny Wiggins and Reverend Jim Duhaime officiating. Mr. Tem Tramis Tew,1897 South County Road 85, Slocomb, died Saturday, March 1, 2003, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center after an extended illness. He was 74. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Wayne Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitaker United Methodist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

Mrs. June Ketcham Waters, of Ozark, died Sunday, March 2, 2003, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center, Dothan, Alabama following an extended illness. She was 71. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Hill officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark directing.

Ms. Ruth Armstrong, of Clio, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003 at the Ozark Nursing Facility. She was 81. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 11 a.m. from Calvary Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Randy Adams and the Rev. Riley Enfinger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home of Clio directing. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the body will lie in state one hour prior to service time at the church on Tuesday. Keahey Funeral Home of Clio, 334-397-4242, is in charge of arrangements.

Jimmy Brannon, of 20th Street in Irondale, formerly of Hartford, died Sunday Feb. 23, 2003 at his residence following an extended illness. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time, but will be announced later by Byrd Funeral Home, 793-3003.
