Mrs. Margaret Marie Sanders died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center following an extended illness. She was 69. Complete arrangements and a list of survivors will be announced later by Ward-Wilson Memory Hill Funeral Home of Dothan, 334-792-4194.

Ms. Patricia Ann Taylor Smith of Hugh Street, Ashford, died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center following a brief illness. She was 54. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today at Ward-Wilson Memory Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Tharel Shirah officiating. Flowers will be accepted.

Kitty Jean Soukup of Montrose Court, Dothan, died Monday afternoon, Feb. 24, 2003, at her residence. She was 74. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gillis Crenshaw officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Beal Cemetery in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26 at the funeral home.

Gerald Lee (Eldon) Thompson of Dothan died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003, at Oakview Manor in Ozark following a brief illness. He was 71. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roger Phillips and the Rev. Gillis Crenshaw officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home Thursday night. At all other times the family will be at 1507 Summit St.

Lillie Dell Wells of Mclane Avenue, Pinckard, died Monday, Feb. 24, 2003, at Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, Fla., after an extended illness. She was 86. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Pinckard.

Merle Helen Windsor of Dade City, Fla. (formerly of Ashford), died Sunday, Feb. 23 at Heritage Park Care Center in Dade City. She was 72. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today at Ashford City Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mr. Cleve Brannon Baker, of Highway 179A, Westville, Fla., died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, at Wiregrass Medical Center. He was 79. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Sorrells Funeral Home of Geneva, 334-684-9999.

Mr. Quinton Brown of Geneva died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003, at Wiregrass Hospital following an extended illness. He was 68. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21 at Pittman Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mike Shirah officiating. Burial will follow at Geneva City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family will accept flowers or memorial contributions may be made to Maple Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund, 1009 W. Maple Ave., Geneva, Ala. 36340.

Mr. Daniel Dansby of Ozark died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, at Dale Medical Center. He was 47. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark, 334-774-4551.

Ms. Lucille Dudley of Graceville, Fla., died Friday, Feb. 14, 2003, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan following a brief illness. She was 69. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Holyneck Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Richard Peterson, Henry Taylor, and Joseph McCalister and Minister Earnestine Daniels officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will have visitation at the Rodney D. Pittman Memorial Chapel in Graceville from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday.

David M. Earnest, a resident of Wesley Manor, died there Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003. He was 95. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Bethel Baptist Church in Bonifay, Fla., with the Rev. Ralph Sigler officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from noon until service time on Saturday.

Mrs. Mattie Lee Ezell of North Morris Street died Monday, Feb. 17, 2003, in Wiregrass Nursing Home after a long illness. She was 90. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Lett officiating. Annie Laura Howell Leddon of Panama City, Fla., passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2003, in Panama City. She was 87. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at Bottoms Garden Funeral Home Chapel in Geneva with Dr. Holland Vaughan officiating. Burial will follow at Leddon Cemetery.

Ms. Annie Bell Lewis of the McChapel Community in Marianna, Fla., passed Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003, in Jackson Hospital. She was 78. The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at McChapel A.M.E. Church. The Revs. R.E. Hudson, Lucious Williams, and Dr. M.L. Jackson, Leroy Hall and Willis Long will officiate. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

Mrs. Duchess Luckey of Ozark died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, at her residence. She was 58. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark, 334-774-4551.

Mrs. Nettie A. Miles of Woodbridge, Va., and formerly of Enterprise died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, in Woodbridge, Va. She was 94. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise, 334-347-9598.

Mrs. Elsie Worley Miller of Ozark, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003, at Dale Medical Center following an extended illness. She was 76. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 at Ozark Church of Christ with Brother Glen VanZandt officiating.

Mrs. Nealie McDuffie Stricklandof Stockbridge, Ga., formerly of Geneva, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003, at the Henry Medical Center. She was 75. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary DeMore will officiate. Interment will be at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service.

Lonnie Lee Whiddon Sr., a resident of Rosetta Circle and also The Terrace at Grove Park died early Wednesday morning, Feb. 19, 2003, in a Dothan hospital. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Newville Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Gross officiating. The family requests the omission of flowers.

Ricky Williams Jr. of North Choctaw Street in Geneva died Thursday afternoon, Feb. 13, 2003, at his residence following a long illness. He was 16. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Geneva Church of God in Christ with Elder Rufus Lee officiating. Burial will be at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Geneva with Wiregrass Funeral Home of Geneva directing.

Ms. Rena Mae Baker of Dothan passed Saturday at her residence.Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Scott's Chapel Hill Mortuary of Enterprise, 334-393-6100, is in charge of arrangements.

Daniel J. Bradley, Major U.S. Air Force Retired, a resident of Dothan, died peacefully at his home on April 12, 2003, after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family. He was 71.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at St. Columba Catholic Church with the Rev. Patrick Gallagher officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Byrd Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday with the wake service beginning at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Sybil Beatrice Fowler of Judge Logue Road, Newton, died Sunday, April 13, 2003, at her residence following an extended illness. She was 83.Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at Antioch Baptist Church in the Oak Grove Community of Geneva County. The visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Kent-Thornton-Meadows Funeral Home.The family wishes that contributions be made to a favorite charity in lieu of flowers.Kent-Thornton-Meadows Funeral Home of Dothan, 334-793-1117, is in charge of arrangements.

Garnet Michelle Garvin, a resident of Montgomery and formerly of Abbeville, died Friday morning, April 11, 2003, as the result of injuries received in a motor vehicle accident which occurred on Alabama Highway 25, between Centreville and Montevallo. She was 33.Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2003, in the Abbeville Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Mrs. Mary Harrell of Sequoyah Drive, Dothan, died April 13, 2003, at the residence of her son, Mr. J.T. Harrell of Norwood Drive, Gadsden, Ala. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
