Sybil Hartzog of Hartford passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan. She was 86. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 6 at First United Methodist Church in Hartford with the Rev. Scott Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Hartford City Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford.

Mrs. Lena Mae Heath of Ozark died Monday, June 2, 2003, at Riverside Convalescent Center in Newport News, Va., after a short battle with cancer. She was 89. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, June 6 at Holman Funeral Home Chapel of Ozark with the Rev. Dr. Jay Wolfe officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday at Holman Funeral Home in Ozark. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 2346 W. Main St., Suite 3, Dothan, Ala. 36301.

Mr. Henry Wilford Hilson of Dothan died Wednesday morning, June 4, 2003, at Flowers Hospital after a brief illness. She was 81. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 6 at Dothan City Cemetery with the Rev. Marquis Wingard officiating. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Ward-Wilson Memory Hill Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cloverdale United Methodist Church Building Fund, 102 Rollins Ave., Dothan, Ala. 36301.

William George Holtman of Dothan died Friday morning, May 30, 2003, at Flowers Hospital. He was 82. Memorial services will be 11 a.m.. Thursday, June 5 at Calvary Baptist Church Chapel with the Rev. Van Gauthe officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice or a favorite charity.

Ernestine Adams Horne, a resident of Azalea Court Assisted Living, Headland, died late Tuesday afternoon, June 3, 2003, at Henry County Nursing Home in Abbeville. She was 95. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 5 at Headland Baptist Cemetery with Dr. Cecil M. Sanders Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends 1 p.m. Thursday until time to depart for the cemetery at Holman-Headland Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Headland Building Fund, 301 E. Church St., Headland, Ala. 36345.

Daphne Burnham Killingsworth of Cottonwood died early Tuesday morning, June 3, 2003, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center after an extended illness. She was 82. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 5 at Cottonwood First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Cottonwood City Cemetery. Mr. Samuel A. Miller of Randwick Road, Dothan, died Monday, June 2, 2003, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center after an extended illness. He was 83. Funeral arrangements and a list of survivors will be announced by Ward-Wilson Memory Hill Funeral Home of Dothan, 334-792-4194.

Mario Luis Ozomet of South Highway 109 died Wednesday, May 28, 2003, after a lengthy illness. He was 61. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 7 at Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lois Patrick of Andalusia died Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at her daughter's residence. She was 86. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Keahey Funeral Home of Andalusia, 334-222-8440.

Eddie Ruth Standifer Pilcher of Dothan died unexpectedly early Monday morning, June 2, 2003, at her home. She was 83. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 5 at Lafayette Street United Methodist Church in Dothan with the Rev. Randy Woodham officiating. Burial will follow at Pinckard Memorial Cemetery. Joseph H. Sitkin (Jack) passed away Friday, May 30, 2003. He was 66. Celebration of life services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 26 at McLaughlin Twin Cities Funeral Home of Niceville, Fla. Mrs. Myrl Spence, a resident of Westside Terrace Nursing Facility in Dothan, formerly of Dale County, died Monday, June 2, 2003, at the nursing facility after an extended illness. She was 80. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 6 at Ward-Wilson Memory Hill Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stephen Windham and Chaplain Eddie Biss officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Melinda "Kay" Glover Watford of Pace, Fla., passed away early Sunday morning, June 1, 2003, at her home after a brief illness. She was 41. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 7 at First Baptist Church of Level Plains with the Rev. Mike Stokes officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday in the church sanctuary. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Anthony James Woolfrey, infant son of Amber D. Woolfrey of Kinston, (Hacoda) died Tuesday, June 2, 2003, at Medical Center Enterprise. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 6 at Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Florala.

John Sweetzler Adams, of Donalsonville, Ga., died Friday June 6, 2003 at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Ga. He was 64. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 9, 2003 at Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church, 2676 Burke Road, Donalsonville, Ga. at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Randy Carnley and the Rev. Gerald Hollis officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Pond-Olive Grove Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Iron City, Ga. Nora Bennett of Hartford passed away Sunday June 8, 2003 at Wiregrass Nursing Home in Geneva. She was 92. Mr. Edward Czap, of Byrd Street, Enterprise died Saturday morning, June 7, 2003 in Flowers Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was 88. A funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday from the St. John's Catholic Church with Father Joseph Wadas officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Meadowlawn Cemetery with Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home directing.
