Sharon L. Ridley

Sharon L. Ridley, 52, of Fayetteville, Ark., died Sunday, April 17, 2005, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born Sept. 27, 1952, in Springdale, Ark., to Everett Meadors and Roylene Hunt Meadors.

She was a supervisor of Central Sterile at Northwest Medical Center of Washington County in Springdale, Ark. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Ridley; a son, Steven Ridley of Springdale, Ark.; a daughter, Rhonda Renee Wieland of Wagoner, Okla.; her mother, Roylene Meadors of Elm Springs, Ark.; two brothers, Danny Ray Meadors of Elm Springs and Everett Meadors of Lowell, Ark.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, April 22, at Moore’s Chapel of Fayetteville.

Graveside funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 23, at the Baptist Ford Cemetery in Greenland, Ark., with Brandon Champagne.

Thomas Morgan Beeman Jr.

Thomas Morgan "T. M." Beeman Jr., 84, of Lowell, Ark., died Monday, April 18, 2005, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rogers, Ark. He was born Dec. 19, 1920, in Collinsville, Miss., to Thomas Morgan Beeman Sr. and Adelia Ann Gressett Beeman.

He was a graduate of Collinsville High School and attended Scooba Junior College. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He retired as a firefighter with the Naval Air Station in Meridian, Miss. He was a member of American Legion Post 21, the Department of Mississippi, for more than 50 years, and was a Mason.

He marriage Hellon Jane Chisolm in December 1941. He had lived in Meridian, Miss., where he was a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church for more than 58 years. He moved to Lowell two years ago and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lowell.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Hellon Jane Beeman; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Lowry Beeman and Sally Beeman of Brandon, Miss, and Dannie Lee Beeman and Helen Beeman of Springfield, Mo.; two grandsons, Dannie Lee Beeman Jr. of Fayetteville and Dr. David Lyn Beeman of Lowell, Ark.; four granddaughters, Loren Jane Rhoads of Fayetteville, Sharon Kaye Wood of Brandon, Karon Ann Beeman of Flowood, Miss., and Wendy Adelia Brady of Jackson, Miss.; a great-grandson, Caleb Luke Rhoads; five great-granddaughters, Jessica Christine Wood, Neely Paige Wood, Sarah Morgan Rhoads, Sadie Kate Beeman and Ella Jane Beeman; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday, April 22, at Barham Funeral Home of Meridian, Miss.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 22, at Barham Funeral Home with the Rev. James Snowden.

Burial will be at the Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Linda K. Hayden

Linda K. Hayden, 56, of Rogers, Ark., died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, in Rogers. She was born Jan. 18, 1949, in Lawton, Okla., to Clyde Sang and Wilma Speck Sang.

She graduated from Oak Harbor (Wash.) High School. She was an administrator’s assistant to the vice president for learning at Northwest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville, Ark. She joined the staff on April 18, 1994. She enjoyed arts and crafts and flower gardening.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard L. Hayden; two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian Hayden and Kathrin Hayden of Frisco, Texas, and Kevin Hayden and Andrea Hayden of Bentonville, Ark.; her parents, Clyde and Wilma Sang of Fayetteville, Ark.; and a granddaughter, Victoria Hayden of Frisco.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at the Benton County Funeral Home of Rogers.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 22, at the Benton County Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Hinson.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 22, at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ark.

Memorials may be made to a scholarship fund established in her memory at Northwest Arkansas Community College, in care of the Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth St., Rogers, AR 72756.

Frank W. Mann

Frank W. Mann, 91, of Rogers, Ark., died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at Bradford House. He was born Aug. 16, 1913, in Independence, Kan., to Claude Mann and Zona Ryder Mann.

He was a longtime resident of the area. He marriage Georgia Snoderly. He retired from Daisy Manufacturing after 23 years and was known as "Whistling Frank." He also worked as a farmer all his life.

He was a member and charter deacon of the Freedom Freewill Baptist Church in Garfield, Ark., and a member of the Pea Ridge Masonic Lodge and the Northwest Arkansas Fox Hunters Association. He enjoyed singing gospel bass.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Mann, in August 1984.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Mann and Carolyn Mann of Garfield, Ark.; a daughter and son-in-law, Peggy Houpt and Gary Houpt of Garfield; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at the Callison-Lough Chapel in Rogers.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 22, at the Freedom Freewill Baptist Church in Garfield, Ark., with the Rev. Ellis Doyle and the Rev. Arthur Lee Galloway.

Burial will be at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Avoca, Ark.

Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Service of Rogers.

Memorials may be made to the Freedom Freewill Baptist Church, 18® Ruddick Lane, Garfield, AR 72732.

Hollis Merrick

Hollis Merrick of Rogers, Ark., died Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rogers.

Arrangements are pending with Callison-Lough Funeral Service of Rogers.

Dorothy Williams

Dorothy Williams, 94, of Rogers, Ark., died Monday, April 18, 2005, at a local health-care facility. She was born Jan. 30, 1911, in Brunswick, Mo., to Charles Arbogast and Katherine Pemberton Arbogast.

She was employed by Nelly Dawn Manufacturing, where she was a seamstress. She moved to northwest Arkansas in 1980 from Shawnee Mission, Kan., and was a member of the First Christian Church of Bentonville. She enjoyed plants, flowers and all types of needlework.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Charles E. Williams; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Betty Petty and Calvin K. Petty of Bentonville, Ark., Patricia Stanton and Tracy Stanton of Columbus, Ohio, and Beverly Boswell of Kansas City, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 23, at Park Lawn Funeral Home of Kansas City, Mo. Funeral services will be at noon Saturday, April 23, at Park Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be at Memorial Park in Kansas City, Mo. Local arrangements were by Stockdale Funeral Services of Rogers.

Doris Marie England

Doris Marie England, 72, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at her home. She was born Jan. 4, 1933, in Winoka, Okla., to Vernon E. Good and Lois A. Wickam Good.

She marriage Delbert Wayne England on May 28, 1970. She was a homemaker and attended the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Wayne England; two sons, Thomas E. Ramage and Mark A. Ramage; and three grandsons.

Survivors include three sons, Donald E. Ramage of Hutchinson, Kan., Dick Carpenter of Westville, Okla., and Paul England of Siloam Springs; eight daughters, Marilyn Koch and Tamra Stephens, both of Westville, Tina Holdridge of Fort Smith, Ark., Mariea Harris of Blytheville, Ark., Terry Hankins of Bentonville, Ark., Belinda Enright of St. Louis, Mo., Joyce Lisenbee of Springfield, Mo., and Terrica Jenkins of Cassville, Mo.; a brother, David L. Good of Wichita, Kan.; 32 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, April 22, at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Funeral services will be at noon Saturday, April 23, at the Weddington Missionary Baptist Church near Siloam Springs with the Rev. Phil Misenheimer.

Burial will be at the Weddington Cemetery near Siloam Springs. Kaylea Elaine Vinson

Kaylea Elaine Vinson, infant daughter of Bobbie Dale Vinson Sr. and Christina Lea Smith of Siloam Springs, Ark., was stillborn on Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include her parents; three brothers, Bobbie Dale Vinson Jr. of Tennessee, and Dylan Smith and Dawson Smith, both of the home; a sister, McKayla Vinson of Tennessee; her maternal grandfather, Guy Allan Sackett of Longview, Texas; her maternal grandmother, Raylene Whitaker of Canyon Lake, Texas; and her paternal grandparents, Melody Elaine and Robert Edward Vinson of Oden Ridge, Ala.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Graveside funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs.

Margaret "Peggy" Halvorsen

Margaret "Peggy" Halvorsen, 83, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville, Ark. She was born Dec. 31, 1921, in Chicago, Ill., to David Webner and Martha Webner.

She worked at the Peterson-Webner Bakery, a family bakery, for more than 30 years. She moved to Bella Vista 15 years ago from Williams Bay, Wis. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Donald Halvorsen; a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce David Halvorsen and Jan Halvorsen of Morgan Hills, Calif.; two brothers, Swen Webner of Bella Vista and Ted Webner of Elmhurst, Ill.; a grandson, Christian Halvorsen; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at the First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry R. Williams and the Rev. Wayne L. Bartruff.

Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 20 Boyce Drive, Bella Vista AR 72714.
