Arkansas, Marriage Certificates, 1917-1972

John R. Ruehle
He served 29 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. He served as a bomber pilot in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He graduated from Bellevue Community College in Bellevue, Neb., with a degree in business, and was salutatorian. He moved to Bella Vista in 1978 from Kearney, Mo. He was one of eight founders of the Bella Vista Community Television Station, where he served as president for 10 years. He served as president of the Bella Vista Computer Club for eight years. He was a member of the Quiet Birdmen Club.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John R. Ruehle II and Luann Ruehle of Lake Oswego, Ore.; a daughter and son-in-law, Gail Ann Slinkard and Jason Slinkard of Bentonville, Ark.; two stepdaughters, Barbara Meek of Springdale, Ark., and Donna Stepherson of Kerrville, Texas; an adopted son, Michael Ruehle of Kalispell, Mont.; and two grandchildren, Brian Ruehle and Lea Ruehle, both of Lake Oswego.
A memorial service was held Aug. 19 at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne L. Bartruff.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bella Vista Community Television Station, 1801 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72715; or to the Bella Vista Computer Club, 1801 Forest Hills Blvd., Suite 120, Bella Vista, AR 72715.

Beulah Edith Baier Lynch
She was raised and completed her education in the Berea community. She married Robert Max Lynch on Aug. 23, 1933. The couple lived on a farm in the Anita, Iowa, area. They moved to a farm near Fontanelle, Iowa, in 1940 and remained active in farming until they retired in 1971. They moved to Bella Vista, Ark., in 1975 from Fontanelle, then moved to Bartlesville in 1984 to be near their daughter. After her husband's death in 1987, she moved back to Bella Vista, then returned to Bartlesville in December 2004 to live with her daughter. She was a member of the Bella Vista Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lynch, on April 6, 1987.
Survivors include a daughter, Lou Ann Wilson of Bartlesville; three grandchildren, Monty Lee Armstrong and Kelly Jo Wilson, both of Bartlesville, and Bradley James Wilson and his wife Louise Wilson of Sunland, Calif.; four great-grandchildren, Terri Jo House, Jeremy Charles Jones and Jeffery L. Taylor, all of Bartlesville, and Nic Armstrong of Iowa; and two great-great-grandchildren, Hailey House and Bradley Jones, both of Bartlesville.
Graveside funeral services were held Aug. 22 at the Fontanelle Cemetery in Fontanelle, Iowa, with the Rev. John Emerson.
Arrangements were by Arnold Moore Funeral Service of Bartlesville.
Memorials may be made to the Bella Vista Christian Church, Church Secretary, 103 Riordan Road, Bella Vista AR 72714.

Jodi Lynn Schlosser Scott
She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Springdale.
Survivors include her husband, Brian Scott; her parents, Art and Arlene Schlosser of Bella Vista, Ark.; two sons, Nathan Cartwright of Olathe, Kan., and Cody Schlosser of Rogers, Ark.; a stepson, Joshua Scott of Springdale; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, David Schlosser and Gail Schlosser of San Diego, Calif., Dan Schlosser of Brass Valley, Calif., and Don Schlosser and Michelle Schlosser of Bellingham, Wash.; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jimmy and Linda Scott of Springdale.
A memorial service was held Aug. 20 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Springdale with Pastor Gary Burney.
Arrangements were by Benton County Funeral Home of Rogers, Ark.

Jimmie Woolley
Jimmie Woolley, 81, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Aug. 19, 2005, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville, Ark. He was born on Sept. 14, 1923, in Mount Cory, Ohio, to Virgil P. Woolley and Lois E. Renninger Woolley.
He moved to Bella Vista in 1984, having also lived in Springfield, Ill., Deerfield, Ill. and Findlay, Ohio. He was a retired engineer/administrator for Fiat/Allis North America and a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers. He played football at Mount Cory High School where he was all-league center.
He enjoyed golf, bridge, fishing and reading.
He served in World War II in the U.S. Army Air Forces and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9063 of Bella Vista. He was a charter member of the Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista where he served as a deacon, past treasurer, member of the finance committee, PNC and building committee.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert T. Woolley.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Bernita I. Holmes Woolley of Bella Vista; a son, Gary Woolley of Mexico Beach, Fla.; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda Hueser and David Hueser of Des Moines, Iowa; a sister, Suzanne Moore of Bella Vista; and two grandchildren, Eric Hueser and Jesse Hueser.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, at the Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista with the Rev. James E. Still and the Rev. Tracy L. Evans. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 9063 at the church following the service.
Memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista, 1880 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72715 or the Bella Vista Library, 11 Dickens Place, Bella Vista, AR 72714 .
Arrangements are under the direction of Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory.

Ruth Pauline Aldredge
Ruth Pauline Aldredge, 90, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Aug. 13, 2005, at the Concordia Care Center in Bella Vista. She was born Sept. 27, 1914, in Grand Pass, Mo., to Henry Neal and Rebecca Wehmeyer Neal.
She moved to Bella Vista in 1999 from Golden, Colo.
She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn Adams and Ron Adams of Bella Vista; Linda Boehm and Steve Boehm of Tucson, Ariz., and three grandchildren.
No services are planned. Arrangements were by the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.

Bryson Kane 'Bubblez' Alexander
Bryson Kane "Bubblez" Alexander, 17, of Malvern, Ark., died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005, from injuries received in a car accident Saturday, Aug. 6. He was born Oct. 8, 1987, in Charlottesville, Va., to David Alexander and Doraine Lynn Moran.
He attended Malvern High School and had previously attended Poyen High School.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Patsy Bailey Alexander.
Survivors include his father, David Alexander of Malvern; his mother, Doraine Lynn Moran of Bella Vista, Ark.; two brothers, Zack Alexander of Malvern and Dayton Moran of Bella Vista; a sister, Tarah Moran of Bella Vista; his paternal grandfather, Mack Alexander of Willis, Texas; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Baker of Warsaw, N.Y.; his girlfriend, Amy Barlow; and many aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held Aug. 11 at the First Assembly of God Church in Malvern with Brother Tony Burrow and Brother Todd Bray.
Burial was at the Clear Creek Cemetery in Malvern.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock or to the Clear Creek Cemetery Fund in Malvern.

Patrick Clarke
Patrick Clarke, 71, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Aug. 12, 2005, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers, Ark., after an eight-year battle with cancer. He was born June 11, 1934, in St. Paul, Minn., to Thomas R. Clarke and Fern G. Kamp Clarke.
He graduated from North St. Paul High School. He moved to the local area in 1991 from Minnesota where he worked for Land of Lakes Dairy for 35 years and five years for the Bentonville School District. He volunteered at AARP and spent 14 years as play manager at the Scottsdale Golf Course in Bella Vista. He enjoyed golf, softball, fishing and traveling.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Whippo.
Survivors include his special friend, Carolyn Johnston of Bella Vista; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Clarke and Maria Clarke of Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara Nielsen and Peter Nielsen of Andover, Minn., and Debra Clarke; two sisters, Marlyn Rickard of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Marj Repinski of Oakdale, Minn.; one brother, William Clarke of Maplewood, Minn.; five grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Bella Vista Community Church.
The family request memorials be made in the name to the music department of the Bella Vista Community Church, 75 East Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista AR 72714.
