Annie Bell Williams
Mrs. Annie Bell Williams, 80, died Sunday morning, Dec. 9, 2001 at the family residence in Trumann, of natural causes.
Mrs. Williams was born Oct. 29, 1921 in Lincoln County, Tenn., and had lived in Trumann for the past four months and was formerly of Fayetteville, Tenn.
She was a retired factory worker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Williams in 1998, two sons, James Williams, and Pat Williams; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters; two brothers, and was the daughter of the late Franklin and Bessie Leona Crouch McWhirter.
She is survived by five daughters: Mrs. Nancy Lowery, of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Frances Lowery of Harrisburg, Ark., Mrs. Linda Collins of Huntsville, Ala., Mrs. Judy Garner of Jonesboro, and Mrs. Debra Benson of Trumann; six sons: Luther Williams, Charles Williams, Tony Williams, Barry Williams all of Trumann, Michael Williams of Jonesboro, and Timothy Williams of Bay; three sisters: Thelma McWhirter of Fayetteville of Tenn., Dixie Gorden of Macon, Ga., and Essie Herndon of Forsyth, Ga.; four brothers: William McWhirter of Hendersonville, Tenn., James McWhirter, and Henry McWhirter both of Fayetteville, Tenn., and Franklin McWhirter of Forsyth, Ga., 30 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.
The visitation was held Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at the McCormick Baptist Church near Trumann with Bro. Perry Tidal and Bro. Jim Frazier officiating. The Burial will be held at Holly Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg. The active pallbearers include James Lowery, Jeff Williams, Scott Foshee, Keith Williams, Stacy Williams and Rodney Collins; honorary pallbearers include Randy Collins, Gaylen Lowery, Jimmy Lowery, and Tony Williams.

Mary Pilcher
Mary Elizabeth Gage Pilcher, 59, of Jonesboro, died May 9, 2003, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
She had lived in the Jonesboro area all of her life. She was on the faculty of Central Elementary in Trumann. She was a teacher for 39 years and had been awarded School Teacher of the Year for 2001-2002. She was a member of the Church of Christ and Delta Kappa Gamma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Pilcher, and her parents, Cecil A. Gage and Verna Daugherty Gage.
She is survived by one sister, Nancy Kay Gage of North Little Rock; one nephew, Matt Herring of Little Rock; two nieces, Shanda Taylor of Rocky Mount, N.C. and Sherri Cherry of Little Rock and 10 great-nieces and nephews, Justin, Amber and Sean Huggins, Kevin and Holly Cherry, Stasha Burton and Jessica, Erica, Alex and Logan Herring.
The funeral was Monday, May 12, at Roller Farmers Union Chapel in Jonesboro. Kevin Edgar officiated the ceremony. Place of burial was at Philadelphia Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Justin Huggins, Kevin Cherry, Phillip Ballard, Bobby Benson, Cecil Daves and Richard Taylor. Honorary pallbearers were Oliver Worley, Richard Pilcher, Sonny Ballard and Randy Pilcher.

Buelah Fay Lindsey 'Granny' Lloyd
Buelah Fay Lindsey "Granny" Lloyd, 83, homemaker, died of heart failure Saturday at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Forrest City. Services were Monday, November 12, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Lloyd, the widow of Homer Lloyd, leaves three daughters, Patti Rodman of West Helena and Sue Lloyd Bishop and Etta Lloyd, both of Forrest City; four sons, Walter Lloyd of Little Rock, bobby Lloyd of Dyersburg, Homer Lloyd, Jr. of Marked Tree and Dr. John Lloyd of Paris, 22 grand children, 22 great-grand children and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Clarence J. Gibson
Clarence J. Gibson, 76, of Trumann Died march 22 at the family residence in St. Louis, MO of natural causes.
He was born in Trumann and had lived in Fredericktown for the past month and was formerly of St. Louis, MO. He was a retired supervisor for Hussmann Refrigeration and a veteran of the US Navy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Lee Huston Gibson and his parents Rufus and Rosa Gairhan Gibson.
He is survived by two daughters, Rose Gibson of Farmington, MO, and Patricia Parsons of St. Louis, MO one brother David M. Gairhan of Memphis, eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
After a private funeral Burial will be at Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Wanda Goodman
Wanda Jean Davies Benson Goodman, 68, of Proctor, died May 11, 2003, at the Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis of natural causes.
She was born in Trumann and had lived in Proctor for the past 20 years and was formerly of Memphis. She was a retired customer service representative for S.P. Richards in Memphis, was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church women's serving group in West Memphis and was a member of the Ingram Boulevard Baptist Church in West Memphis. She was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Leon Davies and was the daughter of the late Cliff and Katy Bell Bass Davies.
The funeral was today, May 14, at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with the Rev. Eugene Ray officiating. Burial was at the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ricky Wright, Ken Miles, Charles Thornton, Greg DeFord, Gene Benson and Tommy Wilson. Visitation was May 13.

Nadine Clark
Nadine Clark, 81, of Trumann died Tuesday March 26 at Rosecare Nursing Home in Trumann.
She had lived in the Trumann area most of her life. She retired from Singer in 1967.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hugh Clark, one grandson, Shannon Slinkard, and five sisters.
She is survived by one son, Ronald Clark of Hardy, one daughter, Shirley Slinkard of Trumann, one brother Luther Stephens of Mt. Morris, MI, three sisters, Willis Ruth Clark of Westland, MI, Lela Thomas and Deloris Garner both of Jonesboro, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Thursday March 28 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Funeral services were Friday March 29 at Roller-Farmer Union Chapel with Rev. Tommy Stacy officiating.
Pallbearers were Phil Wilcockson, Gary Smith, Ronnie Clement, Michael Smith, Larry Maxwell and Damon Slinkard.

Lola Bishop
Lola Bishop, 88, of Trumann died Sunday, Aug. 25 at Regional Medical Center of NEA.
She was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Trumann. She was a homemaker and had lived most of her life in Trumann.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arville Breford Chaffin and one grandson.
She is survived by two sons, Billy Bishop and Mark Bishop both of Trumann; one daughter, Karen Butler Grant of Trumann; her mother, Lela Chaffin of Trumann; five brothers, Doyle Chaffin of Pocho, Floyd Chaffin, Dennis Chaffin, Harold Chaffin, and Frankie Chaffin all of Trumann; two sisters, Sue Gryner of Kieser and Ann Chaffin of Trumann; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Tuesday, Aug. 27 at the Assembly of God Church in Trumann. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 28 at Assembly of God Church in Trumann with Kenneth Doke and Kenneth Green officiating. Burial followed at Pine Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Kevin Bishop, Chad Bishop, Brad Bishop, Justin Butler, Jordan Butler and Darrick Bishop.

Wilma McCann
Wilma Lee McCann, 68, died Saturday, December 29, 2001 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro of natural causes.
Mrs. McCann born Aug. 30, 1933 at Green Forrest, had lived in Trumann for the past 31 years.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Trumann.
Her parents, Arthur and Eva Jones Keller and one sister, Bonnie Irene Howerton, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Thurman McCann of the home; one daughter, Sheri Davidson of Wynne; one son, LaRoy McCann of Trumann; and three grandchildren, Stefanie Weyer of Paragould, Drew McCann and Kellan McCann both of Trumann.
The visitation was held Sunday evening from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thomspon Funeral Home in Trumann.
The funeral was held Monday afternoon, December 31, at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Dr. Tad Rogers officiating.
The burial was held in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
The Active pallbearer included Dean Davidson, Barry Wood, Paul Harmon, Austin McCann, Loyd Reese, and John Jaynes.
Honorary pallbearers include Darrell Reese, Hollis George, Craig Moon, and Floyd Smith.
