Kathryn G. Marshall
Kathryn G. Marshall, 90, of Jonesboro died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004 at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
Born in Trumann, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include one daughter, Ann Marshall of Jonesboro; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Marshall Sr., two sons and one daughter.
Graveside services were 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 2004 at Jonesboro Memorial Park, with a eulogy given by B.J. Emerson. Burial was under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home.

Willard Lowell Glasgow
Willard Lowell Glasgow, 81, of Jonesboro passed away Nov. 18.
He was born in Lake City and had lived in the Valley View Community for 45 years and was formerly of the Bay and Lunsford areas. He was a Baptist and retired from General Electric, a veteran of the US Army World War II, a graduate of Trumann High School, former Boy Scout Leader and charter member of the Valley View Ruitan Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Jean Glasgow; daughter, Jackie Glasgow; his parents, Lowell Russell and Effie Bruce Glasgow and two brothers.
He is survived by one brother, Bruce Glasgow of Jonesboro; two sons, Willard Mitchell of Anchorage, Alaska and Terry Lee Glasgow of Jonesboro; two daughters, Ann Keller of Jonesboro and Marsha Jolliff of Slidell, La.; nine grandchildren, Amy Elk, Aric Keller, Danica Enyart, Adryan Glasgow, Brandy Jolliff, Whitney Jolliff, Bron Glasgow, Tracie Fletcher and Morgan Glasgow and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004 at Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro. Burial followed at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Aric Keller, Bron Glasgow, Tommy Elkins, Tom Kirksay, Clayton Fletcher and John Elk. Honorary pallbearers were LaDrew Rudkin, Homer Harp, Leon Kirksey, Russell Hendrix, Steve Jolliff, Allen Keller, Hardy Mitchell, Haige Mitchell, Wayne Mitchell, Hugh Hardin, Bryan Sutterfield, Wayne Stoner and Mike Wallace.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, NEA Office, PO Box 9191, Jonesboro AR 72403; the Alzheimer Association, 10400 West Markham Suite 130, Little Rock, AR 72205; American Heart Association, Arkansas Office, PO Box 1226, Little Rock, AR 72203 or Wilson Cemetery Association, Jane Dunn, 632 Pine Ave, Trumann, AR 72472.

Irene Mattix Ghant
Irene Mattix Ghant, 84, of Marked Tree passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro of natural causes.
She was born in Bay and had lived in Marked Tree for the past 12 years and was formerly of Harrisburg. She was a housewife and member of the Central Baptist Church in Marked Tree.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loran Reginald Ghant; three sisters; two brothers and her parents, James Edward and Beatrice Adelaide Watson Mattix.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Marshall and Vicki Ghant of Marked Tree and two grandchildren, Loran Matthew Ghant and Hannah Lynn Ghant, both of Marked Tree.
Funeral services were Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Stoddard and Rev. Gary Brown officiating.
Pallbearers were Ronald Baxter, Matt Valentine, Charles Corpier, Jimmy Joe Terrell, Wade Hawkins and Zachary Highfill.

James Ray Bogard
James Ray Bogard Sr., 48, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004 in Harrisburg.
Born at Weona, he was a farmer and a member of Lighthouse Gospel Church of Trumann.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen Bogard of Jonesboro; four sons, James Ray Bogard Jr. of Trumann and Benjamin Tyler Greer, Bradley Travis Greer and Brandon Trey Greer, all of Jonesboro; his mother and stepfather, Betty Mae and Floyd Scercy of Harrisburg; 11 brothers, Rocky Coburn of Marvell, David Scercy of Harrisburg, Bobby Bogard of Swifton, the Rev. Larry Bogard of Bay, Steve Bogard of Dyess and Terry Bogard, Tommy Son, Kenneth Bogard, Larry Bogard, Quincy Bogard and Mark Rainey, all of Jonesboro; four sisters, Tammy Lamb and Janet Holt, both of Harrisburg, Marilyn Williams of Jonesboro and Sue Buazzard of Paragould; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Randle Bogard, a sister and a granddaughter.
Funeral services were Friday, Nov, 26, 2004 at Lighthouse Gospel Church, with the Rev. Mary Jo Thompson officiating. Burial followed in Bolivar Cemetery at Harrisburg under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Tyronza.

James W. Buckley
James W. Buckley, 33, of Harrisburg passed away on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2004 at his residence.
He was a welder and of the Baptist faith. He graduated from Trumann High School in 1989 and was a US Army Gulf War Veteran. He loved to hunt and fish and had spent several years training Saddle Bred Horses.
He is survived by his two sons, James Adam Buckley and Lance Edward Buckley, both of Jonesboro; his parents, James and Carolyn Buckley of Cherry Valley and two brothers, Dewayne Buckley of Harrisburg and Charles Buckley of Weiner.
Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 22 at the Weston Funeral Home in Harrisburg.

James Russell Conatser
James Russell Conatser, 66, of Trumann passes away on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro of natural causes.
He was born in Lepanto and had lived in Trumann since 1972. He was the former manager of the Trumann Waterworks, former school teacher, member and past president of the Trumann Lions Club, member of the Trumann Masonic Lodge and a member of the First Baptist Church in Trumann.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Ruben Conatser.
He is survived by his wife, Joe Ann Conatser of the home; three daughters, Cynthia Gail Barber of Louisville, Ky., DeAnna Marie Harrison of England and Jamie Ruth Boyles of Columbia, S.C.; three sons, Brian Keith Conatser or Corvallis, Or. and John Randall Conatser and Steve Allen Conatser both of Trumann; his mother, Dorothy Banks Conatser of Jonesboro; four sisters, Elaine Isbell of Jonesboro, Patsy Bullock, Sharon Vest and Rose Bradley all of Trumann; one brother, Kenneth Conatser of Jonesboro and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004 at the First Baptist Church in Trumann with Dr. Tad Rogers officiating. A private burial followed. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Trumann Masonic Lodge, Trumann Waterworks and the Trumann Lions Club.

Druary Floyd Brock
Druary Floyd Brock, 64 of Trumann passed away on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004 at the Wynnwood Nursing Center in Wynne of natural causes.
He was born and a lifetime resident of Trumann. He was manager of the Trumann Country Club, a veteran of the US Army and Korean War and member of the Freer Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Orvis Amon Brock and two brothers-in-law.
He is survived by his mother, Noma Brock of Trumann; three sisters, Shirley Thompson and Teresa Pendergist of Austin and LoeEtta Wicker of Bay and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Constant officiating. Burial followed in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Matt Moon, L.D. Gibson, Bob Slinkard, Jerry Pillow, Steve Pillow and Gary Smith.
