Casey Lynn Archer

Casey Lynn Archer, 16, of Beebe, died Saturday, June 23, 2001. She was student at Beebe High School.

She is survived by her mother and dad, Danny and Vicki Cox of Beebe; her father, Greg Archer of Benton; two brothers, Tyler and Alex Cox of Beebe; her grandparents, James and Genell Casey of North Little Rock, Dale and Joyce Cox of Beebe, and Lona Archer of Hope.

The family will receive visitors tonight from 6 to 8 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Beebe First Assembly of God Church, with burial at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital Foundation, Casey Archer/Photopheresis account, 800 Marshall, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72202.

Nora I. Stracener Stevens

Nora I. Stracener Stevens, 89, of Searcy died Saturday, November 17, 2001. The widow of Lenard L. Stevens. She was born October 22, 1912, to Winburn Wood and Carrie Bates Stracener, of Gravel Hill. Mrs. Stevens retired from Bird Eye, and a member of West Race Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Verlon Stevens and his wife, Bettye Stevens; daughter, Viola Shands and her husband, Donnie Shands; sister, Ovie Chamblee, of Texas; grandsons, Michael Stevens and his wife, Mary Stevens, Kenny Stevens, and Steve Shands and his wife, Cindy Shands; great-grandchildren, Justin and Nathan Stevens, Todd and Nicole Stevens, and Tayler, Keleigh and Julia Shands; and many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. Burial at White County Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to: West Race Baptist Church Building Fund.

Eddie Bradley

Funeral services for Eddie Bradley of McCrory were conducted at Powell Funeral Home, Searcy at 1 p.m. on February 12, 2002 with Rev. Tom Steinen and Rev. Debra Collison.

The special song selections were "Go Rest High" by Michael English and "Yesterday" by Boyz II Men.

The pallbearers were Percy Gibson, Thomas Evans, Bobby Kittrell, OC Bumpers, Nathan Parnell and John Chestnut.

The honorary pallbearers were Erik Bradley, Freddie Bradley, Ray Bradley and Lee Bradley.

Burial was in New Quiet cemetery in Augusta with arrangements by Powell Funeral Home of Searcy.

Jason Edward Duncan

Funeral services for Jason Edward Duncan of Searcy were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at Searcy Funeral Home Chapel with Brother David Burgess officiating.

Song selections were "Mama I Am Coming Home" and "Free Bird."

Pallbearers were Shane Lewis, Rick Gardner, Keith Duncan, Michael Taylor, Shane West, and Josh Roberson. Honorary pallbearers were Ralph Palmer, Russell Martin, Gene Davis, and Ben Austin.

Interment was in Cave City Cemetery.

Arrangements were by Searcy Funeral Home.

Etheldra Rushin

Etheldra Rushin, 92, of Houston, Texas, and formerly of Beebe, died Monday, October 21, 2002.

She is survived by one daughter, Martha Smith of Houston; three granddaughters; two grandsons; four great-grandchildren; one brother, C.E. Free of Beebe; and one sister, Ethel Bailey of Beebe.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Rushin; one son, Cecil; and one brother, Arda Free.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2002, at Westbrook Funeral Home Chapel in Beebe. Interment will be in New Hart cemetery in Rose Bud.

Doug Beggs

Doug Beggs, 58, of Pangburn, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004, in Little Rock. He was born Dec. 1, 1945, in Blytheville to Roy and Christine Rowlett Beggs. He was a 32 Degree Mason and a member of Lodge #198 in Forrest City. He worked for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission for 20 years in Fisheries and Wild Life Management.

Minnie B. Cross

Minnie B. Cross, 88, of Beebe, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004. She was a housewife and a member of Garner Church of The Nazarene.

Gwendolyn 'Wendy' Michelle Logsdon

Gwendolyn "Wendy" Michelle Logsdon, 30, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004, in Abilene, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004, at the Highland Church of Christ under the direction of Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy. 277 South, Abilene. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park. Family visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Marie Barnett

Graveside services for Marie Barnett of Romance were conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19, 2004, at Romance Cemetery. The Rev. Harold O'Bryan officiated.

Leo Cook

Funeral services for Leo Cook of Searcy were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, at Roller-Daniel Chapel. The Rev. David Crouch officiated.

Song selections were "Precious Memories" and "Old Rugged Cross."

Burial was in Henderson cemetery by Roller-Daniel Funeral Home, Searcy.

Delois Hart

Funeral services for Delois Hart of Kensett were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, at Arnold Tabernacle C.M.E. Church in Kensett. The Rev. Fred Williams, Pastor, and Officiating Rev. James Hart officiated.

Special music was provided by pianist William Rycrow, with song selections "I'm Going Up Yonder" sung by White County Federated Choir, "Through It All," sung by Sereatha Bracely, and "I Thank You Lord" sung by William Rycrow.

Pallbearers were David Lee Hart, Aywon Hart, Larry D. Branch, William Hadley, Howard Washington Babb and Kenneth Andrew Young. Honorary pallbearers were the Missionary and Stewardess Board, Centennial and Arnold Tabernacle.

Interment was in Crow Cemetery, Kensett, by Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.

Grace Howerton

Funeral services for Grace Howerton of Searcy were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004, at Antioch Church. Jordan and Jim House officiated.

Song selection was "Amazing Grace" sung by Obera Norman.

Pallbearers were Matt House, Ethan Sheffield, Jason Howerton, Steve Fisher, Brad Adams and David Cannon. Burial was in Antioch cemetery by W.L. Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.

Francis Nathan Jones

Funeral services for Francis Nathan Jones of Beebe were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, at Westbrook Funeral Home. The Rev. Leon Cross officiated

Larry S. Layrock

Funeral services for Larry S. Layrock of Searcy were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19, 2004, at Powell Funeral Home in Searcy. Bro. Jim Morris officiated.

Song selections were "Beulah Land," "Help Pour Out the Rain" and "Go Rest High On That Mountain."

Pallbearers were Tony Layrock, Eddie Layrock, Steve McIntosh, Larry Arnault, David Lyons, Leon Moore, W.L. Williams and Ray H. Tripp.

Burial was in West Point cemetery by Powell Funeral Home, Searcy.
