LIZZIE WILLIS

Funeral services for Lizzie Ann Willis, 79, of West Helena will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21 at the PLM&D; District Center at Helena Crossing. The Rev. Crain will officiate. Burial will be at the Oneida cemetery in the Oneida Community.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20 at the New Zion Baptist Church in West Helena.

Willis, born May 15, 1924, to Robert and Essie Williams, the eldest of eight children, died Feb. 13, 2004.

She was united in marriage to the late C.W. Willis and nine children were born to their union.

Her parents, three sisters, a brother, her husband and a son Larry (Lena) Young preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory five daughters, Doris Jean McShane of Milwaukee, Wis., Maxine and Sylvester Gilmore of West Helena, Ader Mae Young of Barton, Charline and Anthony Warthon of Jacksonville and Laura Ann and Norman Shirley of North Little Rock; three sons, James Earl and Norma Williams of Chicago, Ill., Marvin Jean Tate of Barton and Lawrence Jr. and Charlesetta Young of Chicago Ill., 15 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close Christian friends.

Brown's Home for Funerals will direct services.

CAROLYN PAYNE

Funeral services for Carolyn J. Payne, 50, of Helena will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004 at the Phillips, Lee, Monroe and Desha District Center at Helena Crossing. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial cemetery in the Southland Community.

A private family viewing will be from 6 until 8 p.m. at the chapel of Brown's Home for Funerals in West Helena.

CLINT HAMILTON

Funeral services for Clint Hamilton of Batesville, formerly of Marvell will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21 at the New Zion Baptist Church in West Helena. The Rev. Tommy Stevenson will officiate. Burial will be at Magnolia cemetery in Helena.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Brown's Home for Funerals in West Helena.

Hamilton, born July 23, 1942 to Arelia and Tommy Hamilton, died Feb. 13, 2004 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Pearlean Hamilton of Batesville, a daughter, Brenda and Allen Drayton of Batesville; two sons, William Hamilton of Nashville, Tenn., and Leon and Leslie Hamilton of Batesville; two brothers, Arthur Hamilton of Marvell and Bobby Hamilton of Kansas City, Kan., three sisters, Pearl St. Clair of Kansas, Martha Hamilton of Chicago, Ill., and Jennie Walker of Forrest City; one aunt, Earnestine Wilder of Marvell; 12 grandchildren, Mervyn, Latory, Kenneth, Adrian, Shadrecka, Tevin, and Allen, Leondra, and Christina Hamilton of Batesville, Nicole Hamilton and Terrance Hamilton of West Helena and Jeremy Harris of Holly Grove; two great-grandchildren, Tamarja Hamilton of West Helena and Eynse Hamilton of Conway; six nieces, Patricia and Gary Tate, Diane Carolyn, Sheri, Tracy and Cristy of Marvell; three nephews, Tony and Melvin Hamilton of Marvell, Donald Robinson of Kansas City and a host of relatives and friends.

Brown's Home for Funerals will direct services.

JAMES MCCALL

James R. "Tubby" McCall, former Phillips County resident, died Feb. 13, 2004 in Shawnee, Kansas.

McCall was a former student at the old Woodruff High School in West Helena.

He leaves two brothers Walter McCall of Lexa and Banks McCall of West Helena.

Funreal services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004, at the Amos Family Funeral Home in Shawnee, Kansas.

NEWELL KELLEY

Funeral services for Newell Kelley, 78, of West Helena will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena. The Rev. Rodger Hooker and the Rev. J.L. Sanders will officiate. Burial will be at LaGrange cemetery in the LaGrange Community.

Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. this evening at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.

Kelley, born Dec. 30, 1925 in Tyronza, died Feb. 15, 2004 in Helena.

He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Fourth Street Baptist Church.

He leaves his wife of 56 years Natalie Kelley of West Helena; four sons Monty Kelley and Eric Ashley Kelley of West Helena, Steve Kelley and Billy Hadder of Lexa; four daughters, Sharon Marie Kelley of Lexa, Betty Lou Aaron of Southhaven, Miss., Deborah Lynn Smith of Batesville, Miss., and Susan Carter of West Helena; a brother James O. Kelley of Poplar Grove; a sister, Effie Flake of Lexa; 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, two sons Herbert Newell Kelley and Bryant Patrick Kelley and a daughter June Darlene Kelley preceded him in death.

Pallbearers will be James Mathis, Randolph Mathis, Ricky Webb, Cameron Sweat, Dewayne Burgess and Andy Kelley. Leslie Kelley will be honorary pallbearer.

Roller-Citizens Funeral Home will direct services.

LOUISE BRYAN

Funeral services for Louise Bryan, 85, of Marvell will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, 2004 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Marvell. The Rev. David Helwig will officiate. Burial will be at McCurley cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 until 9 p.m. Sunday at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.

Bryan, born Oct. 7, 1918, in Monroe County, died Feb. 19, 2004 in Helena. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Marvell.

She leaves two sons Don Bryan of Walls, Miss., and Thomas Bryan of Bonne Terre, Mo., a brother, Ray Bennett of Tucson, Ariz., six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Her husband James Bryan preceded her in death.

Pallbearers will be Timmy Gannon, Jimmy Gannon, Gary Bennett, Doug Bennett, Marty Bennett, and Joe Bennett.

Roller-Citizens Funeral Home will direct services.

CAROLYN J. PAYNE

Funeral services for Carolyn J. Payne, 50, of Helena will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21 at the Phillips, Lee, Monroe and Desha District Center at Helena Crossing. The Rev. Nathaniel Hull Jr., will officiate Burial will be in Jackson Memorial cemetery in the Southland Community.

A private family viewing will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. this evening at the chapel of Brown's Home for Funerals and from 1:30 until 2 p.m. Saturday at the Center.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Celeste Payne; a grandchild, Cedrien L. Payne-English; her father Walter Payne Sr., three brothers, Walter L. Payne Jr., Michael A. Payne and Darryl G. Payne; two sisters, Patricia A. Smith and Pamela F. Payne; a nephew, Devron D. Payne; a niece, Shanedra S. and Sam Barnes Jr., and a host of relatives and friends.

Brown's Home for Funerals will direct services.

Funeral services for Clint Hamilton, 61, of Batesville, formerly of West Helena will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004 at the New Zion Baptist Church in West Helena. The Rev. Tommy Stevenson will officiate. Burial will be at Magnolia cemetery in Helena.

Hamilton died Feb. 13, 2004 in Batesville.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. today at the chapel of Brown's Home For Funerals, who is directing services.

LEWIS SIDNEY

Lewis Jerome Sidney, 45, of Little Rock formerly of West Helena died Feb. 15, 2004 at the UAMS Hospital in Little Rock.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Brown's Home for Funerals in West Helena.

MACY HENDERSON

Macy Lee Henderson Sr., 72, of Clarendon died Feb. 18, 2004 at his home in Clarendon.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Brown's Home for Funerals in West Helena.

JAMES MCCALL

Funeral services for Brenda Diane Tolar Adams, 52, of Lexa will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at the Lexa Baptist Church. The Rev. Tommy Jacobs will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Barton.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.

Adams, born April 20, 1951, in Lexa, died Jan. 25, 2004, in Helena. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lexa Baptist Church.

She leaves a daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Stacy Mitchell of Conway; her mother Opal Tolar of Lexa, two brothers R.B. Tolar Jr., of Union City, Tenn., and Rodney Tolar of Lexa; a sister Debi Ringer of Lexa; two grandchildren Shelby Layne Gregory of West Helena and Brady Seth Mitchell of Conway; and several nieces and nephews.

Her father Ralph Tolar preceded her in death.

Pallbearers will be Travis Williams, Benny Kinley, Danny Patton, Terry Tolar, Dennis Bryant and Eddie Rohrscheib.

Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena will direct services.
