Tanna Howell
Tanna Murry Howell, 76, of North Little Rock, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2002.
She was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church, Outreach Leader, Adult Department 3, Past President of North Little Rock Lioness Club.
Howell was a school teacher for 26 years at Camden High School, Lonoke High, Ridgeroad Jr. High, and Lakewood Elementary in North Little Rock, The Cathedral School in Little Rock, and was Past Vice President of the North Little Rock Classroom Teachers Association and a member of Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include her husband, James L. Howell; son and daughter-in-law, James R. and Cammy Howell; two grandsons, Douglas and David Howell, all of North Little Rock; brother and sister-in-law, Rucker W. and Wilma Murry of Prescott; sister-in-law and husband Virginia and Thad Spence of North Little Rock; two nieces, Tanna Clark and her husband Charles of Hot Springs, Jan Roberts of North Little Rock; two nephews and their wives, Steven and Cindy Murry of Gilmer, Texas, Bryan and Lainie Spence of North Little Rock; niece-in-law, Carol Murry; 10 grandnephews and grandnieces.
She was preceded in death by a nephew, Philip Murry, and grandniece, Juli Fair Dennis.
Memorials may be made to Park Hill Baptist Church Building Fund or Arthritis Foundation, 6213 Lee Ave., Little Rock, Ark. 72205.
Funeral Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2002 at Park Hill Baptist Church with Dr. S. Cary Heard officiating. Entombment will be in Pinecrest Mausoleum. Family was received friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home.

William Fain
William D. Fain, 75, died Saturday, February 3, 2002, at the veterans hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana.
He was born October 7, 1927 in Stamps.
Fain was a disabled WWII Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Elvira of Stamps; one son and daughter-in-law, W. Darrell and Susan Fain of Prescott; one brother, Dale Fain of Stamps; three grandsons, Darren Fain of Little Rock, David Fain of Little Rock and Eddie Fain of Hallandale, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Monday, February 25, 2002, at 11 a.m. at the Shiloh cemetery in Stamps, with Rev. John Force officiating.
Burial will be under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.

Donald McAdams
Donald McAdams, 53 of Hope, died February 23, 2002, in Little Rock Hospital.
He was an employee of UACCH and an accountant.
He was born March 28, 1948, in Hope. He was a member and Branch President of the Hope Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, member of Hope Kiwanis Club where he served as past president and a board member, and Hope Running Club.
He was the son of J.W. McAdams and Pat Robinson McAdams.
preceded in death by his father, J.W. McAdams.
Survivors include his wife, Anita R. McAdams of Hope; son, Stephen W. McAdams of Baton Rouge, La.; two daughters, Trudie E. McAdams of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jessica E. McAdams Kaufman of Texarkana, Texas; one brother, Philip McAdams of Prescott; and mother, Pat Robinson of Emmet.
Services were 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Herndon Funeral Home Chapel with Dick Pearsons officiating. Burial in Memory Gardens cemetery.
Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Memorials to the American Heart Association.
Services under the direction of Herndon Funeral Home in Hope.

Idell Elliott
Idell Elliott, 81, of Waldo, died March 23, 2002, at the Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana.
She was born March 9, 1921, in Oak Grove, La., to the late John Allen and Florence Holland Pevytoe.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Troy Elliott; one sister; and five brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Syble Williams; and husband, Charles L. of Waldo; sons, Donald Otis Elliott and wife, Karen Jean, of Pine Bluff, Clayborn Elliott and wife, Nancy, of Waldo, Roy Dale Elliott and wife, Pamela, of Willisville, and Michael Wayne Elliott and wife, Becky, of Magnolia; brother, Frank Pevytoe, of Star City; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at the Lewis Chapel with Bro. Daniel Williams officiating.
Burial was in the Waldrep cemetery.
Visitation was Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and Monday from 7-9 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home.

Larry Langford
Larry Don Langfor, 30, of Rosston, formerly of Magnolia, died March 22, 2002.
He was born June 2, 1971, in Magnolia.
He was an auto body technician for Bubba's Body Shop and a member of the Eastside Missionary Baptist Church of Waldo.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael Langford, Kenneth W. Langford, Jr. and Eddie Langford.
He is survived by his wife, Cari Langford of Rosston; one son, Dylan Kenneth Langford of Rosston; his parents, Kenneth and Joann Langford of Magnolia; three brothers, Mark Langford and wife, Donna, of McNeil, Bruce Langford and wife, Jamie, of Magnolia, and Wally Langford and wife, Tammie, of Covington, Ga.; grandparents, Theresa and Frank Brogdon of Kingman, Ariz., and Wayne and Myrtle Langford of Magnolia; father and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Sherry Young of Rosston; sister-in-law, Allison Young of Rosston; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2002, at the Eastside Missionary Baptist Church in Waldo with Bro. Jim Cross officiating.
Burial was at the Memorial Park cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc.
Visitation was Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home.
Active and honorary pallbearers were Kirk Wood, Leslie Cromeans, Brian Cromeans, Stephen Langford, Robbie Langford, Bubba Wilson, John Kent Gaines, Freddie Richardson, and employees of Bubba's Body Shop.

Audry Curtis
Audry Virginia Curtis, 64, of Emerson (formerly of Hope), died Sunday, March 24, 2002, at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock.
She was born May 28, 1937, in Ozan to Jessie and Lonita Harris Robins.
She was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church in Ozan.
Survivors include her husband, Paul H. Curtis of Emerson; three sons, John Curtis, Jimmy Curtis and Jerry Curtis all of Emerson; one brother, Jessie O. Robins, Jr. of Emerson; one sister: Louise Hilliard of Nashville and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2002, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott, with the Rev. Eric Goble officiating.
Burial was in Caney cemetery in Caney under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home.

Hendricks Dildy
Hendricks Farley Dildy, 90, of Prescott, died Saturday.
He was retired from the Logan Grocery Company as a bookkeeper and a sales clerk, and was a member of the Prescott Church of Christ.
Dildy is survived by his wife, Ora Rooks Dildy of Prescott; his daughter, Phyllis Dildy of Houston, Texas; his brother, Sim Dildy of Ft. Worth, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Wednesday, March 27, 2002, at 10 a.m. at the Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, with Howard Horton officiating.
Burial followed in the Restland cemetery in Nashville, under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.

Dena White
Dena White, 82, of Prescott died Thursday, March 28, 2002, in Jonesboro.
White was born January 19, 1920, in Nevada County to Clarence and Doshie Fore Bolls.
She was a housewife, a gospel singer in the 1950's and 1960's with the Lee-White Quartet and deputy treasurer for Nevada County from 1960 to 1966. She was a member of the Park Missionary Baptist Church in Prescott.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom White in 1992.
Cherishing her memory are: her son and his wife, Dr. Dennis and Vicki White of Jonesboro; her sister and brother-in-law, Johnita (Jonny) and Mac Osborn of Gurdon; and her granddaughter, Diana White Corder of Jonesboro.
Services were Sunday, March 31, 2002, at 3 p.m. at the Mt. Moriah Church with Bro. Tal Webb and Bro. Paul Sheets officiating.
Interment followed in the Mt. Moriah cemetery.
The family has entrusted these services to the Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott.

Leroy Cooley
Leroy Cooley, 66, of Hope, died Friday, March 29, 2002, in Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana.
He was born on September 23, 1935, in McCaskill to Earl and Lula Bell Watson Cooley.
He was self- employed owner/operator of Cooley's Appliance Repair. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Hope and a member of VFW of Hope.
He was preceded in death by his father and one sister Jane Bowden.
His survivors include: two sons, Jackie Cooley of Bodcaw and James L. Cooley of Shreveport, La.; two daughters, Teresa Cooley Formby of Patmos and Cathy D. Sanders of Hope; his mother, Lula Bell Cooley of Hope; one sister, Donald Sue Huddleston of Hope; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were 2 p.m., Monday, April 1, 2002, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.W. Wright officiating.
Burial was in Memory Garden in Hope. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
Family received friends on Sunday, March 31, 2002 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
