Marcella Marlow
Miss Marcella Ann Marlow, 43, from Conway, formerly of Prescott, died Sunday, June 23, at Conway Regional Hospital.
She was born February 2, 1959, in Nevada County, to Clarence Marlow, Sr. and Addie Gill Marlow Arnold.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Her survivors include: five brothers, Paul Morrow of Prescott, Clarence Marlow, Jr. of Lancaster, Texas, Samuel Marlow of Prescott, Thomas Marlow of Rockford, Ill., and Zeebedee Marlow of Arlington, Texas; two sisters, Flora Jones of Rockford, Ill., and Betty Mitchell of Sherwood; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 29, at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ in Prescott, with Rev. Leroy Sworn officiating.
Burial followed in Sweet Home cemetery in Upchurch Community. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
Family received friends Friday, June 28, from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Shirley Loe
Shirley T. Loe, 67 of Prescott, died Tuesday, July 2, in a Little Rock Hospital.
Shirley was born June 19, 1935, in Thornton, Texas to A.R. and Sylvia Bumpers Watts. She was a former secretary for the Prescott High School and a member of the Liberty Church of the Nazarene in Prescott.
She was precede in death by her son, Marcus E. Loe.
Cherishing her memory are: her loving husband of 45 years, Bob Loe; two sons, Jeffery N. Loe of Prescott and David A. Loe of Tomball, Texas; four sisters, Patricia Barger of Irving, Texas, Gail Clute and Judy Goodsheller, both of Thornton, Texas, and Tonie Beard of Arkadelphia; two grandchildren, and her stepmother, Mable Watts of Thornton, Texas.
Memorial services were Friday, July 5, at 10 a.m. at the Liberty Church of the Nazarene in the Redland Community.
Services were entrusted to Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott.

Joe Loe
Mr. Joe E. Loe, 87, a resident of Cleveland, died Monday, July 22, after several months of declining health.
He was a native of Prescott and had resided in Cleveland for 48 years.
Mr. Loe was also a deacon. He was a member of the Scottish Rites, Shriners, Masonic Lodge where he was a 32 degree Mason and a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge, and was a 50 year member of the Grand Lodge of Tennessee.
Mr. Loe was the son of the late William B. Loe, Sr. and Edith Loe and was also preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his two sons, Charlene Elkins Loe and a granddaughter, Katherine Michelle Loe.
Mr. Loe is survived by his wife of 31 years, Helen G. Loe of Cleveland; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Becky Loe of Simpsonville, S.C. and Mike and Cindy Loe of Atlanta, GA; three stepsons and daughter-in-laws, Reed and Laura Goins, Terry and Shirley Goins and Don Goins all of Cleveland; 10 grandchildren and spouses, Melanie Loe and Danielle Young both of Atlanta, GA, Michael and Jennifer L. Masters of Simpsonville, SC, Joseph and Tammy Austin Pavlo of Chattanooga, Terry and Tachsha McDaniel of Charleston, Duke and Heather Goins of Decatur, Timmy and Jackie Goins, Kim Goins, Christopher Goins and Angela Goins all of Cleveland; eight great-grandchildren, Lauren and Amanda Reagan, Laura and Brittany Austin, Alan Pavlo, Megan Goins, Tierny and Tess McDaniel; four brothers, Abram Loe, Ardell Loe, Ottis Loe and William B. Loe, Jr.; and two sisters, Ellen L. Dougan and Sidney Steed.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Rev. Lake Walker officiating. Interment followed in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reed Goins, Terry Goins, Don Goins, Timothy Goins, Duke Goins and Terry Goins serving as pallbearers.
His family received friends from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Enda Cunningham
Edna Catherine Cunningham, 85, died Thursday, August 1, in Granger, Indiana.
Ms. Cunningham was born March 29, 1917.
Survivors include: one daughter, Pat C. Bateman of Granger, Indiana; one sister, Ruby Beavert of McPhearson, Kansas; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Saturday, August 3, at 4 p.m. in the DeAnne cemetery in Prescott with Bro. Ricky Burke officiating. These services have been entrusted to the Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott.

Hershal Clover
Hershal Thomas Clover, 61, of DeAnn, died Thursday, August 1, at his home in DeAnn.
Hershal was born August 8, 1940, in Evant, Texas, to Clarence Burton and Mae Alexander Clover. Hershal was a retired laborer with the Arkansas Highway Dept. and a master mason with the Witfield Lodge #239. He was a member of the Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he served as head usher.
Cherishing his memory are: his loving wife of 10 years, Ginger Hiscott Clover; two daughters and son-in-laws, Brenda and Mike Moore of Texarkana, Texas, and Denise Clover, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; one brother and sister-in-law, Harvey and Nell Clover of Tyler, Texas; two sisters and brother-in-law, Lena and Bob Massingill of Hope, and Wanda Breazeale of Maryville, Tennessee; two granddaughters, Allison Brantley and Hailey Moore; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Weldon Clover.
Services were Sunday, August 4, at 2 p.m. at the Central Baptist Church in Prescott with Bro. Ernie Sorrells and Bro. Ricky Burke officiating. Interment was in Union Grove cemetery in Blevins.
The family has entrusted these services to the Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott.
Memorials may be made to the Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Blevins.

Tilman Marlar
Tilman Asa Marlar, 79, of Willisville, passed away Saturday morning, August 3, after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Marlar was the youngest son of Alfred and Vinna Marlar and a lifetime resident of Arkansas. He was married to Jessie Hutcheson, October 9, 1943 in Prescott, by Rev. E.P. Garrett. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and pappa.
Mr. Marlar retired from the Arkansas Highway Police after 21 years and served as Chief Deputy Sheriff of Nevada County in 1985. He was a life-long whittler and master woodcarver. He was a member of the Willisville United Methodist Church, a 32nd Mason and a Shriner.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Hilton Marlar.
Surviving him are his wife of almost 59 years, Jessie; one son and daughter-in-law Albert and Pam Marlar of Sheridan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Anita and Larry Dickerson of Melborn, Florida and Amber and Robert Kenny of Del-Ray Beach, Florida; five granddaughters, Christy Pugh, Shiloh Marlar, Maris, Corinne and Emma Kenny; one grandson, Jeffrey Dickerson and two great-granddaughters.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Willisville United Methodist Church with the Dr. Ralph Hale and Rev. Sanford Hankins officiating with a Masonic graveside service following at the Willisville cemetery, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Willisville United Methodist Church, the Shriners Hospital for Children in Shreveport, La. or your favorite charity.

Alfred Paul
Alfred L. "Al" Paul, 79, of Prescott, died Sunday, August 25, 2002, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope.
He was born on April 28, 1923, in Levy, to Addison Lee and Lillian Haynie Paul. He was retired from the United State Army and retired from Potlatch.
He was a member and deacon of Sweet Home Baptist Church, Sweet Home Community. He was a former Sunday School Superintendent and former teacher of the Men's Bible Class.
He was an Army Veteran of World War II and received a Purple Heart after being wounded in combat. He was the Secretary/Treasurer of the Sweet Home cemetery Association. He was preceded in death by one son, Rusty Paul, who died in 1989 and by two brothers, Earl T. and Hurshel Paul.
Survivors include: his wife, Maxie Ward Paul of Prescott; one son, Ricky Paul of Hawaii; one daughter-in-law, Pam Paul Haltom and Louie of Mt. Holly; one sister, Norma Kneeland of North Little Rock; and four grandchildren, Jason Paul, Emily Paul, John Haltom, and Kayla Haltom all of Mt. Holly.
Funeral services were 10:30 Wednesday, August 28, 2002, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott, with Rev. Coy Zumwalt officiating.
Burial followed in Sweet Home cemetery in Prescott. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
Family received friends Tuesday, August 27, 2002, from 6-9, at the funeral home.

Harvey Butler
Harvey Henderson Butler, 59, died Thursday, August 29, 2002, at this home in Prescott.
Mr. Butler was born April 14, 1943, in Cumberland, Kentucky, to Erby and Evie Beasley Butler. He was an employee of Hope Concrete and a member of the Boughton Baptist Church.
Cherishing his memory are: his loving wife of 37½ years, Judy Craig Butler; two daughters and son-in-law, Connie and Terry Cox and Diana and Scott Tosh, all of Prescott; his mother, Evie Butler of Texarkana, Texas; two brothers, Melvin Butler of Texarkana, Texas and Noel Butler of Kokomo, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Matthew and Erik Stone of Prescott, Bradley, Brandon and Cassie Cox of Hope, Aaron, Alex and Ashley Tosch of Prescott and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services were Saturday, August 31, 2002, at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of the Shackelford Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Joe Christopher officiating.
Interment at Delight cemetery in Delight.
The family has entrusted these services to the Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott.

Mary Stafford
Mary E. Stafford, 70, of Prescott, died Friday, September 6, 2002.
Stafford was born January 1, 1932, in Nevada County to Jodie and Rosie Lola Jackson Young.
She was a housewife and a member of the Ward Chapel A.M.E. Church in Prescott.
Cherishing her memory are: three brothers, George Young of Prescott, Jimmy Young of California, and Edward Young of Prescott; two sisters: Betty Austin of California and Deloris Malone of Prescott; two stepsons, Sam Stafford of Prescott and Willie A. Smith of Kansas City, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Stafford, and two sister, Bobbie Young and Daisy Nell Brown.
Services were Saturday, September 14, 2002, at 1 p.m. at the Ward Chapel A.M.E. Church in Prescott with Rev. Daniel Lee officiating. Interment was in DeAnn cemetery in Prescott.
The family has entrusted these services to the Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott.
