Steve Snell Jr.
Steve W. Snell Jr., 67, of Clarksville, died Monday, December 2, 1995, at St. Mary's Hospital in Russellville,
He was retired as counselor at Lamar High School. He was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his parents S.W. Snell and Coy Deaton Snell.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Willis Snell of Clarksville; a son, Stephen Snell III, M.D.; a brother, James Richard Snell of Emmet; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services were Wednesday, December 27, 1995, at Snell cemetery in Emmet with Rev. Richard Brown officiating.
Burial was in Snell cemetery under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home.

Howard Webb
Howard Webb, 66, of Blevins, died Monday, December 25, 1995, at Pike County Hospital in Murfressboro.
Born in McCaskill, April 8, 1929, he was a retired Hempstead County truck driver and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Urcella Webb of Blevins; three sons, Thomas Howard Webb and Douglas Dewayne `Doug' Webb of Blevins, and William Charles `Chuck' Webb of McCaskill; a daughter, Marsha Ann Erwin of Nashville; two brothers, J. L. Webb of McCaskill and Charles Wayne Webb of Benton; three sisters, Lee Walters, Bobbie Middlebrooks and Betty Vise, all of Benton; three grandchildren; and one step granddaughter.
Services were held Wednesday, December 27, at Balls Chapel Church of Christ in McCaskill with Randy Hughes officiating.
Burial was in Friendship cemetery in McCaskill under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home of Hope.

Lewis Thompson III
Lewis E. Thompson III, M.D., 46, of Little Rock, formerly of Prescott, died Thursday, December 28, 1995, of a heart attack.
Born in Little Rock, he was a graduate of Hall High School before graduating from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1971. He then graduated from the University of Arkansas Medical Science School in 1975 becoming a family practice physician. He was a member of the Arkansas and American Medical Association and was a Presbyterian.
Survivors include two daughters, Patirica Claire and Elizabeth Ann Thompson, both of Prescott; and two sisters, Toss Worthington and Joy Sallee Thompson, both of Little Rock.
Graveside services were held Saturday, December 30, at Roselawn cemetery with Rev. Robert Graham officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.

Milton Stokes
Mr. Milton Stokes, 84, of Prescott, died Friday, October 21, 2005, at his home.
He was born on March 12, 1921, in Bluff Springs, to Thomas Grady and Cora Lee Ellis Stokes. He was retired from the Prescott Hardware Store and Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. He was a deacon and member of Central Baptist Church in Prescott. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and had a great love for gardening.
He was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Stokes, who died in 1997.
His survivors include his wife of 63 years, Ruth Ingram Stokes of Prescott; one daughter-in-law, Safronia Martin of Mountain Home; one brother, Robert Stokes of Lucedale, Miss.; one sister, Valeria O’Keefe of Rosston; Two grandchildren, Shannon Stokes and Kristy of Jonesboro and Russell Stokes and Krisitie of Abilene, Texas; three great grandchildren, Zoie and Ellie Stokes of Jonesboro and Jackson Robert Stokes of Abilene.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2005, at Central Baptist Church in Prescott with Rev. Perry Johnson officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Ridge cemetery in Prescott.
Family received friends Saturday, October 22, 2005, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

MABLE NELSON
Mable Jean Nelson, 63, of Hope died Monday, June 17, 1996, in Medical Park Hospital in Hope.
Born December 5, 1932, in Blevins, she was a retired bookkeeper. She was a member of Bruce Memorial United Methodist Church in Blevns and was past governor of Pilot International.
Survivors include her husband, Charles `Jerry' Nelson of Hope; one son, Larry Nelson of Prairie Grove; her mother, Jennie Martin Smith of Hope; three brothers, Fred A. Smith of Magnolia, Bruce Smith of Shreveport, La., and Harold A. Smith of Murfreesboro; and one granddaughter.
Services were held Wednesday, June 19, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home in Hope with Harley Sisson and Rev. Cornelia Delee officiating. Burial was in Washington cemetery in Washington under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home.

Allie Ollison
Mrs. Allie Mae Ollison, 80, of Gurdon, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005, at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs.
She was born May 25, 1925, in Columbia County to John Steve and Beula McDaniel Ford. She was a homemaker and mother.
She was a member of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church and lived her life with high Christian values. She loved children and shared her many talents with all who were willing to learn. Sons, daughters and nephews will always remember her traveling companionship, special birthday cakes and the love put into each one. Neighborhood children will always remember the quilting and school lessons taught before they entered kindergarten. All will remember her radiant smile, her kind heart and the love she so graciously shared.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Archie and Forcie; and three sisters, Emma, Mozell and Christine.
Survivors include eight sons, George Edwards Henry Sr. and Maple, of Ozan, Joe Williams Henry and Judy, and Horace Henry and Diana of Los Angeles, Calif., J.D. Henry and Doris, and Sidney Floyd Henry I and Edena of Gurdon, Willie Lee Henry and LaTonya of Kentucky, Jerry Henry and Wilma of Compton, Calif., and Perry Henry and Natalya of Moreno Valley, Calif.; five daughters Jessie May Henry and Cleo Edwards of Gurdon, Dessie Mae Henry of San Bernadino, Calif., Mary Ruth Bell of Sacramento, Calif., and Margie Walker and Frankie of Hot Springs; one brother, Bennie Ford and Marie of Detroit, Mich.; grandchildren reared, Willie Joe Price and Gloria of Hot Springs, Jerome Edwards Henry of Bennettsville, S.C. and Gregory Wilkins and Rose of Little Rock; 43 other grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church, Gurdon, with the Rev. Johnny Harris officiating. Burial was in Sweet Home cemetery, Prescott, under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home.
A wake was held Friday, Nov. 4, from 6-7 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home.

Charles Gilmer
Charles Glen Gilmer, 65, of Delight, died Sunday, June 19, 2005, in the Pike County Memorial Hospital.
He was born on February 18, 1940, in Pike County, the son of the late Robert William Gilmer and Maggie (Bradford) Gilmer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Linda of the home; one son, Chris and wife, Carissia Gilmer of Billstown; one daughter, Cindy and husband, Don Apollos of Delight; and one grandchild.
Funeral services were Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. at the Delight Church of Christ with Wallace Alexander and Randy Hughes officiating. Burial was in Delight cemetery in Delight under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Murfreesboro.
The family received friends at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro, Monday, June 20, 2005, from 6-8 p.m.

Homer C. Greer
Homer C. Greer, 87, of Burkeville, Texas, formerly of Nevada County, died Tuesday, December 26, 1995, at Jasper Memorial Hospital in Jasper, Texas.
A native of Arkansas, he was a longtime Burkeville resident, a charter member of Columbia Hunting Club, a retired logging contractor and a member of Burkeville Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother. Glen Greer of Newton, Texas; a sister, Thelma Wingfield of Jasper; two grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday, December 28, at Burkeville Baptist Crruch with Bro. E. Dudley Rutledge officaiting and assisted by Bro. Van Lowe. Burial was in Tanner cemetery in Burkeville under the direction of Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper, Texas.

Ellis E. Prosser
Ellis E. Prosser, 78, of Gun Barrel City, Texas, formerly of Prescott, died December 20, 1995, in Gun Barrel City.
Born July 5, 1917, in Victor, N.Y., he was a former mechanic at DeLamar Chevrolet in Prescott and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Gun Barrel City.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Prosser of Gun Barrel City; two daughters, both of Gun Barrel City; 16 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Services were held Saturday, December 23, at Eubank Memorial Chapel in Mabank, Texas, with Rev. Byron Jones officiating. Burial was in Roselawn cemetery in Seagoville, Texas, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home of Mabank, Texas.

Viola Walker
Viola Greening Walker, 87, of Camden, died Monday, January 8, 1996.
Born August 7, 1918, in Ouachita County, she was the daughter of the late Granville and Ludie Lee Morris Greening. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where she served as financial clerk, treasurer of the Missionary Society., deaconess and took an active part in all activities at the church. She was the widow of Junious Walker.
Survivors include two daughters, Bernice Lamar of Chidester and Ruby Reed of Camden; a son, Willie Clyde Walker of Pine Bluff; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, January 12, at Antioch Baptist Church in Stephens with Rev. Grady M. Bennett officating. Burial was under the direction of Williams Funeral Home of Camden.

Betty Norman
Betty (Montague) Norman, 72, of Prescott died Sunday from an aneurysm while visiting family and firends in California over the holidays.
A native of Iowa, she was an accountant and a longtime member of Sweet Adelines.
Survivors include her husband, Willie Norman of Prescott; six daughters, Leslie De LaRosa of Bishop, Calif., Barbara Nicoletta of San Jose, Calif., Stephanie Ford of Santee, Calif., Robin Zolezzi of San Jose, Calif., Dianna Montague of Sacramento, Calif., and Andrea Elliot of Campbell, Calif.; 13 grandchilren; and five great grandchildren.
Memorial services were held at Jones Mortuary in East Palo Alto, Calif. Burial was in Sweet Home cemetery near Prescott.
